I think I need to re install Encore off my discs. When I ask Premier Pro CS5 to send my project to Encore, Encore opens but does not receive my movie sequence. How do I re install Encore only without upsetting my movie?

Hello. I have the Premier Pro CS5 suite on Windows. Can you advise me how to re install Encore off my discs without affecting any of my movie in Premier Pro please?
I ask Pro to send the movie sequence through Dynamic Link into Encore so that I can burn the sequence to a disc.
Encore does open but the sequence does not arrive from Pro.
Last night the sequence did arrive into Encore but took forever to transcribe and I eventually cancelled the process as it appeared to get stuck and did not quite get to writing to disc.
This morning the sequence does not even arrive into Encore.
Very frustrating when I have a 4hr movie that I want to write to Bluray so I have now created 4 separate sequences and want to try writing them onto DVD in 1hr chapters.

Hello Ann. Thank you for your help. I have re installed EN and I have now
sent parts of my movie to AME. I have then tried several different methods
of getting the encoded clips into Encore successfully. Once in the Project
panel and the Timeline, the movie does not show up in the Monitor panel
above, so I have proceeded to build and write to a disc. I've tried a
number of options but always end up with EN 'not responding' and having to
close the program down.
Something else is that I do get a message whilst in Premiere Pro that there
is an update available for AME, however, when I look online I do not see an
update for CS5, although there are 2 updates for CS6. Can you suggest what
I could do please? The Encore problem is the one that concerns me the most
as I am not able to record my movie.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. My Usenet Newsreader program (MT-Newswatcher) has a mail client capable of sending messages through my mail account, but is not capable of receiving mail as far as I can tell. However my mail account does receive mail. If there is an mail account not capable of receiving mail, I don't think Gmail is it. But that doesn't mean you have to read it or download it to your computer.
My incoming mail resides on an AOL server. My old AOL mail client only shows basic information like title, date received and who it is from. The mail is not actually downloaded to my computer until I open it.
Other mail clients such as AOL Desktop and the iPad mail App, do download the mail to your computer or iPad, whether you read it or not. So the answer to your question may depend on your mail client and how you define "does not receive"!

Itunes installed open but does not appear.

Everytime i try to open my itunes, nothing appears on the screen. It says that my itunes is already open but there is nothing on my screen or on my taskbar that relates to itunes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes but it seems that its not working at all. My ipod still charge when i connect it to my computer but my itunes just wont appear.Its really frustrating.Someone help me please!??

some preliminary questions aimed at narrowing in on possible culprits.
(1) do you have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed on the PC?
(2) try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)
(c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could you describe it for us?)
(3) reboot the PC. bring up your Task Manager, and click on the "Processes" tab. now try to launch itunes again.
does an "itunes.exe" process appear in the Processes tab? if so, does it persist in there or does it disappear after a few seconds?

Plugin updates will not stop appearing when firefox is opened. have done updates but does not see Adobe update. How do I fix this

When I open firefox plugin update page appears ,I have done all updates it wanted, but it does not see the Adobe update as being done. adobe is current as per there site.

MacBook Pro Mountian Lion, security update, process bar opens but does not download, how to fix?

Firefox says there is an important security update and when I click the update the blue bar appears and just spins and never moves. I let the laptop sit for a whole day and still nothing. I have to close the update box. I updates to mountain lion about a month ago.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Start by rebooting the computer. If that doesn't work, search for adobefnt*.lst and delete all instances where * becomes a 2-digit number.

Have you bothered to do any research at all? Not every app was upgrade to 5.5. Those that weren’t will next be upgraded to CS6.
