I took my computer somewhere to get it fixed, when I got it all of my purchased music, that means over 2000 of them were missing...what do I do now??
I just bought a Toshiba, Satellite L55t-A5290 and when I took it to have it fixed, it came back minus the COMPLETE iTunes, I mean it was all missing! My complete music library which I'd had for over 10 years!!! To this point I thought it was simple, all I had to do was go to iTunes and it was all going to come back, which I'd done for years before! Not so fast, it wasn't working, all I got in return for downloading the iTunes was completely 0 except for blank pages. I have filled it back up with 253 out of over 2000+ songs, from here and there.

Are the songs no longer listed in the Music part of your iTunes library, or are they still listed there but the actual music files are no longer stored on your computer (and you've checked to see if there are still on your computer, but no longer listed in iTunes, or not where iTunes is expecting them to be) ?
In iTunes go into Edit > Preferences and on the Store tab tick the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' - this screenshot is from a Mac but it should be similar on a PC :
You should see in the Music part of your library what you can redownload - the songs will have cloud icons against them. If the old versions of the songs are still listed in the Music part of your library but iTunes can't locate the music files, then they won't get the cloud icon, you will need to delete these 'missing' entries for them to potentially show with the cloud icon.
You won't be able to redownload music if you've changed countries since buying it, or if the rights-holder has removed it from the store. Also check to see if you have any of your purchases hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases

Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old drive or the backup of the computer to the new drive.
Installing iTunes has never caused media to magically appear on a computer. -
My father in law decided to clean up my computer and accidently wiped off something important(dont know what).He then took it away and said he would get it fixed.When he brought it back he said that everything was back on but I needed to install itunes,Ive installed the latest version and the quicktime.

I am affraid to plug them back into my computer until I sort the problem out.(they had been plugged in before this happened and worked fine.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

No, content remains unless you specify something like an erase and install. It is always a good idea to make a backup before updating just to have more protection.

edit the hosts file on your computer and remove any lines that contain gs.apple.com. Disable your antivirus and firewall.

There is no bug. While you can update your iOS via wi-fi, it's recommended to do so via USB & iTunes. Depending on your wi-fi connection & singal strength, you can get errors. That's not a function specifically of the device. -
i plugged in my iphone 4 for the first time to my computer to back everything up. but when i got to the screen to click on "new phone" or restore to the "same phone" i clicked "same phone by accident. now i have all of my old information from my G3s on my new iphone 4. how can i reverse this? please help.

Unfortunately, iTunes was told to restore all data from an old backup onto the new phone, and that cannot be undone.
However, prior to this, iTunes 10 would have also asked to make a backup of the phone before doing the restore. If the user elects to say "yes" to perform the backup, then iTunes would have backed up the phone before erasing it.
Hopefully, that backup will still be available in iTunes, and if so, it would be backed up under the new phone's name prior to it being erased and restored (if the name of the new phone is different to the name of the old phone).
To check if iTunes has a backup of the phone prior to the restore, look in the Devices category in iTunes Preferences. All backups made are timestamped and are identified with the iPhone's name at the time of the backup. Look for:
• a backup of the phone using the new phone's name prior to the erase and restore, or
• a backup with the same date and time as that when the phone was erased and restored (not the date and time AFTER when the phone was erased and restored!). This may be the case if the new and old phones have the same name.
If a backup is available, you can erase and restore again using that backup. The phone will be restored with what would hopefully be the original image of the new phone.
If no backup was made prior to erasing and restoring the phone initially, then there is no way to
undo it, meaning your phone's original data has been lost.

Well that seems pretty straightforward - write some pl/sql to send you an email when that pl/sql inserts data into a table.

today on the way to work it was raining heavily when i got to work my coat and pocket was soaked with my i phone 5 in it i took it out and wiped the screen off when i got to work and put it in my bag the likfe was on like 50% when i go on my break like 4 hours later my phone is dead and would not turn on for a while when it did it had some writting in the top left corner ive tried resseting my phone on i tunes and nothing has helped and the phone is relatively brand new so i need HELP?

How can I purchase music that's a few years old?Guy's older albums have been on other countries' Itunes in the past. I don't know why they come and go. Guy keeps promising to spend more time overseas, releasing and promoting his music. I'm sure they'll all become available again then. You could import CDs, of course, but that becomes expensive. Online, Sanity and JBHiFi in Australia will mail overseas.
