The Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD should still be available from Apple for $20. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775 to purchase it. It may still be in the Legacy Products list. The App Store which is required to download 10.7 or 10.8 is part of the 10.6.6 update.
If they no longer have any in stock you will have to buy it from eBay or Apple resellers that still have stock. But you will have to pay a premium since the DVDs are no longer being made. Snow Leopard DVDs are already up to $100 on Amazon.

My daughter was updating her iphone to the iOS6 and everything went great. So, she was going to update mine. She used her itunes acct. instead of mine and it downloaded all her music and apps onto my iphone. Now when it asks for me to enter my password, it has her email address. How can I fix this???
plug your iphone into your computer with your itunes account signed in to update it, (if you want your own apps ect.) if all you want to do is change accounts signed in on the iphone than simply open settings and scroll down until you see itunes and app stores touch the apple id tip top and signout, sign yourself in. any apps she has "purschased" that you have not.. i imagine will just cease to work.
if you both share the same contacts, it won't be a big deal, however if you have work and her shcools numbers ect, and she just has mom/dad/buddies you may have double numbers and apps and what not by doing this, so if it does become a mess.. just get on itunes log into your account by clicking the store menu in itunes and going down to the account id on the bottom of that menu and just restore your phone. -
While my friend was setting up his iphone because i had recently updated it for him he needed a itunes account to use for "bump" so i could transfer his contacts back. So i used my itunes and icloud account to sign in so he could download that because he didnt have any of those accounts. So when i logged in he was basically me, my name was his phones name aswell. Well i used "bump" his name was the same as mine. I got the contacts to work but now every time i send him a text message, (imessage) i get the exact same message from myself. How to i unverify him off of my icloud so i can be the only one using it?
The fact that the problem only occurs when iphones are texting you leads me to think that iMessage may be the culprit. The fact that it is only iphones using SPRINT however is weird. Try turning imessage off on both yours and your sons phones to see if the problem persists. If it does, it may be a carrier problem.

After upgrading my iPhone 4S to iOS6, my Find My Friends app no longer links to my Contacts and does not show contact names. It only shows e-mail addresses and does not link up to the corresponding email address in my Contacts. How can I fix this?
I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself. -

Settings->Messages->Send & Receive -> Scroll to bottom and check the address/number you want to start new conversations from.

Your only chance is setting it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards, which you already did.

I purchased the 2Pac All Eyez On Me (Remastered) album a few years back when it was released. I recently had to frag my computer and now when I redownload the album it's downloading as All Eyez On Me a clean album instead of explicit. The only ones that remained in explicit are the ones that I uploaded from my phone. How do I fix this?
Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value). You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads

Following the update to version 31.3, when I compose an email and start typing the first character, the drop-down list of email addresses are no longer in alphabetical order, such that it provides options that make no sense with the first character I typed. In addition, when I finally find the email address I'm looking for and select it, then I hit enter to open a new line, and it changes the email address I just selected to another contact. How do we fix this issue? I want the old Thunderbird back!!! Or, at least, I want the new version to function correctly. Please help!

I receive an error message that adds the country code again. I tried it with no country code and the area code included but I still receive an error message. It only does it sometimes and not to all Sweden contacts. There is no obvious reason why it does it to some but not others. Does any know what the problem is and how to fix it? Thank you!
Only other thing I can suggest is to reset your phone. This won't touch any data or settings:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release. -

I cannot update apps or download anything new from store. Keep getting a message saying "unexpected error occurred." Only new thing I have done is update to 10.8.2 on my computer.
In addtion, I just found out that my iMac is no longer conecting to iCloud either. I never had any problems until I updated to 10.8.2 last night. Any suggestions?

When I send my files to my instructor she can't view the pictures. How can I fix this?

Make sure if you are sending a .zip that the instructor understands they need to extract all of the files first.
In zipped websites, a browser will open a page, but none of the links within that page will work so images will be broken and page links will be 404.
