so then i tried uninstalling and installing back the old itunes and it wouldnt open at all. i put back the new itunes n it opens but still wont show any words?

That's consistent with trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system.

I recently have been trying to update my iTunes and my computer said it could not find the "iTunes64.msi" file and I could not locate it myself. It could be a compatibility issue as well as Acrobat 8 is an older version.
Do you get any error message while registering for the product?
Try repairing it and once and also check for updates as well.
Is it happening with all the word files or any specific one'?

OK thanks - I tried that, would not let me remove the OPM.db file as in solution 2, i uninstalled CS6 versions, i uninstalled Creative Cloud desktop app and then downloaded latest and installed - however, with continual workload, I am not about to remove all Adobe software as suggested in Solution 4! Even in the Creative Cloud app where it shows install new apps, there are only CS6 versions showing?

Can you log on to the email account via webmail in a web browser, view the email and delete it from there if necessary.

You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync your content to it.
If you do it via a different computer that it's not normally synced to then (from here) :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
