I upgraded my iPhone 4s to ios 6.1. since i did, i have been unable to connect to my service provider either for calls or data services. its been two days now. does anyone know why and what can i do to rectify this?

However, the AVI container could just as easily contain DV along with DV audio. In this case, the file should play correctly in QT since this compression format is natively supported by the basic component configuration that comes in every current OS installation. Therefore, if such files suddenly stopped playing, this could be an indication that a component has been moved or deleted or that your system or QT embedded structure has become corrupted. -
Hi i have avi files saved in iphoto that i used to be able to play through quicktime. However in the last few weeks i cannot play many of these files. I can see the videos and click on them but nothing happens (i have version 7.6.9 of quicktime). Does anyone know why this has happened and what i can do about this?

I have purchased an audio book from iTunes with my iMac.
Now I wanted to listen to it on my iPhone so I proceeded to transfer the purchase and looked for the book in the purchased section of the store in the iTunes on my iPhone but it did not show up.
Does anyone know why and how I can transfer the audio book purchased on my iPhone so I can listen while away from the desk?

Do you have the right boxes checked to sync the audio book to the iPod?

Note you have to check the boxes in Books pane for the iPod in iTunes to sync books in general and another box to sync Audio Books. -
I don't see the AirPlay button on the bottom right of my iTunes (v 10.6.3) window. Does anyone know why and how I can set it up? Thanks!
You do not have to have an Apple TV, but you should have an AirPlay capable speaker on your network.

Does anyone know why or what is the reason when starting a new iMac with Lion, sometimes a gray bar appears under the Apple that begins to shade to dark as it loads OS? It does this on occasion. One time the system loaded was VERY slow and terrible colors. Pulled the plug, re-started the computer and it did not do this. As I say, its only on occasion, not every time. I noticed in the discussion page there were problems listed for 10.6 nothing for Lion.
Please advise, if possible.You should see this 4 option menu. Click on Disk Utility:
In Disk Utility, Select FIRST AID and then VERIFY and then REPAIR the disk.

On my IPad 2 home screen, the mail app used to indicate the number of new messages with a number in a red circle, next to the app. This has vanished, I think about the same time as when I upgraded to the new OS. Does anyone know why and how to restore this feature?

I created some ringtones and managed to get them into the tones section of my library on itunes. I can see and play them. However, when I try to drag and drop them into the tones library on my iphone it will let me drag them but not drop them in. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for any help
Email it to yourself, then save the file and then see if you can convert it to MP3.

Another question: does anyone know how audio linked to the glossary terms can be easily repeated? Currently, it's not possible to click on the term a second time to repeat the audio - I have to click another term, then return to the one I want to repeat (audio)

I have a client that wanted the exact same feature, click the term and hear the word again. I had considered using other Glossary widgets that are available but all of them seem to have one short coming or another. One option I considered was creating a small flash app/button (play audio) that contained the audio file and could be placed in the description like an image but this became to cumbersome for the number of terms we had to use and opened up all other issues and I can't even remember if importing a flash element is a feature of the standard Glossary or and third party.
I hope that someone else has some other insights for you. -
My sons ipod touch has stopped letting him access facebook or you tube. On entering the app or going in via safari it just states loading for ages then fails, I have reset it for him, but it hasn't helped. Is this a common problem? It is only 2 months old.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi everyone,
I imported some fideo files and I turned the to slow motion (50%), and then video quality to Optical Flow. They all looked great in the timeline and viewer theese last few days but today, after using 2 monitors for 20 - 30 minutes, I switched back to a single monitor configuration. The I noticed that the timeline videos looked blurry and, whe I played the videos, they flickered in the viewer (which they didn't before).

The computer is a Mac Pro with a 10.6.8 OS and an Eizo CG243W. The second Monitor is a 19" BenQ.
I connected both monitors again and checked that both configurations were correct. I fact, if the configurations had been changed, all the screen would look blurry, not just the time line (or so I think)
