I upgraded my PC from Windows XP to Windows 7. How do I retrieve my i tunes?

ok, I followed this: iTunes > Preferences > 'Device' section > Device Backups and it was blank, except for the back up I did on my iPad today, but nothing pre-windows 7 unfortunately
On another note, incase its useful, I do have several partitioned drives but the windows 7 upgrade was done at a computer shop. The guy used an external hard drive to copy everything over, and then did the upgrade and put all the back ups onto my partitioned hard drive.
All my word docs, photos and other software/programs are still on the comp and am able to access them with no problem (after installing latest microsoft office of course)
Is it possoble my old iphone and ipad back ups are somewhere among the partitioned drive that is storing my back up from windows xp? and ps. I'm a girl :-)

Did you have time machine set up? Maybe you can retrieve them from a backup.
Oh... and if your mail provider is someone like Google, They may be sitting in your all mail folder on the server.

I would suggest that you tru and update through iTunes on your computer. Also, could you connect your computer up to the internet using a wired connection rather than wireless - this will be faster and more reliable, particularly when you need to download a large file.
Then try your update. This time, in iTunes, why not try to get it to download the sofware first (Download Only). You can then appy it to your iPhone later, once it has downloaded.

OP you need to be more specific. ARE you saying that they did not restore from your icloud backup? Or are you saying that they didn't show up under your photostream?
If its the 2nd one, because photos are only available to other devices in your photostream for 30 days. Beyond that, they only show on the original device. To get around this, you can, on the original device, share them all to a shared photostream, inviting only yourself to share the photostream and them you'll be able to access them on the new device. Fair warning, sharing them to the shared photostream can take some time so don't delete them till they all show up.

If you purchased it through the Play Store (formerly Android Market), you just need to sign into the new phone with the same Google account. The game would then be available for download without needing to repurchase the game.
Your game progress however is another story and you might need another application that can save game progress to the SD card and can be transferred to the new phone.

Go into View > Toolbars and select the toolbars you want to be displayed. If you don't see the menu bar, simply tap ALT in your keyboard. Rightclicking anywhere in the toolbar will also present you with the menu (don't rightclick stuff that can be rightclicked for other functions, like the back menu or the tabs).

I have hp Pavilion G6 1117tx model. i have upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8 Pro. after upgrading i have observed that on righ click option i have not fine CCC and Configure switachable graphic option is missing. so please help me how i can solve proble relationg to AMD redeon hd 7400 grphic card and intel hd 3000 series grphic switchable option.

I have recently upgraded my laptop operating system from Vista to Windows 7. i tunes is asking me to sync my i pod, because it is recognising the Vista laptop and not the Windows 7. All my music has gone from i tunes library but it is all stored in Windows music folder(s). How can I move it all to my i tunes library?

So your iTunes library is now empty after the upgrade?
Simply drag the one folder (containing all of your music) into your new empty iTunes library or choose File -> Add to Library in iTunes.
Otherwise, if they aren't all in one folder, you'll have to drag each seperate one into iTunes.
