I've a doubt in basic thing.

textEditSuite->InsertText(WideString(rString));
in above lines, myContext->GetContextSelection() returns ISelectionManager. Then how textEditSuite can be created. could any one please explain?

But you already creating "textEditSuite" from ISelectionManager. In That code that you pasted above.
To get ISelectionManager you can either use IActiveContext::GetContextSelection or ISelectionUtils.
Let's say you have a an interface pointer to ISelectionManager named mySelectionMgr;
All you need to do is create your interface pointer to ITextEditSuite - textEditSuite:
InterfacePtr<ITextEditSuite> textEditSuite(mySelectionMgr, UseDefaultIID());
if (textEditSuite && textEditSuite->CanEditText())
ErrorCode status = textEditSuite->InsertText(WideString(resultString));
ASSERT_MSG(status == kSuccess, "WFPDialogController::ApplyFields: can't insert text");

I have not worked on any scenario between JD Edwards and XI, but SAP has a list of adapters provided by iWay software, one of which is used to connect to JDE One World XE. The good thing about this adapter is that, you do not require a separate runtime.
You can get more info about the adapter from SAP Market place under,
SAP Exchange Infrastructure --> SAP XI in Detail --> Connectivity --> Connectivity SAP XI 3.0 --> iWay.

hi,
LIKE means the datatype of the variable is similar to the referenced variable.
TYPE means it is a predefined data type.
Eg:
DATA int TYPE i.
Here int is of integer data type.
DATA var LIKE int.
var IS a variable having same data type of int. which in turn is integer.
You can find these helpful when you reference database table variables... You need not know what is the datatype defined.
Also it adds to FLEXIBILITY.
Whenever you make changes to your database tables and fields,
that change is REFLECTED back to your program that is,
You need not change all your program code when you change your table fields...
Hope you understand and appreciate the flexibility that SAP provides to the programmers...

Use Windows Server 2003 or 2008 with BootCamp?Just want to run basic things

Hey, well I can get a copy of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 with the DreamSpark program (as I am in college) for free. But my question is, is this a good idea to use with my MacBook Pro? I wasn't sure how well it'd work with Boot Camp, and all I'd want is to just run basic programs and/or games.
Is it a good idea? And does anyone have tutorials for how to install it?

Windows Server 2003 and XP 64-bit share the same codebase and XP-64bit is not supported with BootCamp.
Windows Server 2008 and Vista 64-bit share the same codebase and Vista 64-bit is only supported with BootCamp on some Macs. See here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1846
For running 'basic' things with the Server versions, why not use one of the Virtualization apps like Parallels, VMWare Fusion or VirtualBox ?

I can't put numbers on the decimals. It only allow ,00 as decimals. If i put 33.00 it's ok but i i put 33.44 when i press enter changes to 3344 as an entire number, i've try everything and can't find the solution. This should be a basic thing.

It appears you have the cell formatted to Currency, with the default two decimal places.

Drag the Row and Column control (bottom right corner) to reduce the table to two columns and three rows.
Enter the words "My table" in cell A1.

Place the mouse pointer at the top left corner of the area you want to include.
Press shift-command-4.
The mouse pointer will change to a plus sign on a circle.
Hold down the mouse button and drag to the bottom right corner of the area you wan to capture.

In the Compose frame, place the Insertion point at the location you want the picture to be inserted.

How ODI works? Doubt in basic Architecture.

I need to know how ODI (Architecture) works on basic transformations. From my understanding,
1) ODI extracts the data from source, create some temp tables in Staging Area and put the data in temp table.
2) From that temp table it puts the data to target and drop the temp table.
is the two statements are correct? one more thing is that i am confident on 3rd point, please say wether its right.
3) We can make all the temp tables to be created in a different database without affecting the target database (Using the option"Staging area diff from target")
Any suggestions would really help.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I need no temporary tables should be created in target database. For that, i have taken
Source and target from different databases and staging area as different database (in total three database for source, target and staging area).
I used these knowledge modules - LKM Sql to Sql, IKM Oracle Incremental update, CKM oracle.
When i execute the interface, two tables are created in target database (SNP_Check_tab, E$_emp_table), how can i avoid that.
Any suggestions would really help.

Actions list weird, can't find basic things.

[Quick intro: This is my first time on the site so hello! My name is Jason, I'm an artist, graphic designer, and animator, and I use most Adobe products in creating my artwork and videos.]
So, here is my problem. I used to use drag and drop stuff to create websites and just recently got into using Flash and Dreamweaver. I am using the CS3 versions of both of these programs. What I'm trying to do now is make an animated button that's also a link to another page on my site. I was able to make the button in Flash with an up state, animated over state, down, hit and all. My problems are as follows:
1. It's a link on my index page and I'm trying to make it link to my main page where there's the menu and links to the rest of the site... but I don't know how to make the button a clickable link. I've searched for tutorials and guides online, and it seems I have to do a getURL action on it, but I'm not sure that I'm doing it right (I'm copy and pasting examples and switching in my own link): it ends up looking like this:

I'm not familiar with the code, but it seems simple enough. Anyway, I'm trying this with just basic links to standard websites, and I can't seem to get it to work.
2. A major problem I have is with creating the actions themselves. My menu for selecting the actions is weird; I see on all these tutorials that there's are menus that you can select it like this:
Though, my menu for actions looks like this:
Tons and tons of fl.something things... I can't find any of these getURL menus, or anything like that.
So, am I going about making this animated button a link correctly? Is there an easier way to do it? Is there some easier way to do it in Dreamweaver after I've already created the button? Also, one last little question. When I have the button done, should it be saved as a .fla file? Or exported as a .swf file?
Sorry for bombarding everyone with questions in my first post, but I've been at this for hours and hours and I feel like I'm going in circles looking at these tutorials and guides.

I tried again, making sure that actionscript 2.0 was selected (though, when I went to the menu it already was). Here's what I have: I just drew a simple black box for the button just to test (Up, down, over and hit area all the same). So I put that in the stage, and put the action on it as you can see at the bottom. On the right in the pic is the settings in publish settings. (Action script 2.0 is selected).

Basic things they could implement...

Since I didn't find a way to reach their teams, I'll post it here...
They could implement a way for you to change the number you inserted to make a call, but you can only erase it all the way to the number you want to change, what a waste of time...
Also the number you insert when you are in a call, in the dial option, could still be in the memory when you cancel the call and then you go to the dial menu, know what I mean?
eg: you are in a call and the person gives you a number, you type it in the dial menu and then you cancel the call you are in and bring the dial menu up and the number you have typed in when you were in the call is there, for your use, this is basic stuff.
And the you could swipe like 3 or 5 last dialed number you have typed in, but not necessarily called.
One more thing: when you swipe up in the new ios 7, it brings up a new menu (that were acessible when you doble taped and swiped right, in the previous ios) and there are the quick music player option, well, why wouldn't they put a small "button" to turn on/off the shuffle and the repeat, one at each side (for style's saske)?
Well, that's my small contribution, I hope it helps something in the future.

1. I think you mean reiserfs4: Reiserfs is no problem with the stock Arch Linux Kernel and the archck-kernel available in the extra repository. If you intend to compile your own kernel make sure you enable reiserfs if your config. But I personaly think it would bring you less problems if you start by using ext3 – you wouldn't see a huge difference in speed.
2. simply done by configuring your /etc/rc.conf file in the network section this way:
eth0="dhcp"
and your /etc/resolv.conf like this, substituting your nameservers' IPs and your domain name:
nameserver 61.23.173.5
nameserver 61.95.849.8
search example.com

I have a small doubt in BAPI, Actually i want to add the vendor price only in MEK1. For that am using BAPI to add the vendor price.

Hi Mohana,
for that you need to seacrh for the BADI or Userexit,...when ever any changes are maded in that transaction based one the situation your BADI or userexit will trigger and that will update to the data base...if you use that BAPI in that EXIT.....
if you are using separatly the program...every time you need to execute that program for updating that field in that transaction...

We have had numerous problems with our OS Collector for the last several years too. I have a few steps that I follow to start the OS Collector when our collector fails.
1 - Make sure saposcol is using the latest patch from service.sap.com.
2 - Sign on to system as <SID>OFR and run the following commands.
CALL PGM(SAPOSCOL) PARM('-d')
     Brings up the saposcol program in a dialog mode for commands to be keyed
key in the following in the saposcol dialog: clean
     Cleans shared memory
key in the following: quit
Stop the OS collector with the following command:
CALL PGM(SAPOSCOL) PARM('-k')
key in the following in the saposcol dialog: leave
     a message "shared memory deleted" or "shared memory not attached" should be displayed
key in the following: quit
Change directory to /usr/sap/tmp and rename file coll.put (rename to coll.put.old)
Try to start the OS Collector from ST06. Wait about 5 minutes and refresh statistics.
3 - Open a customer message with SAP. SAP has been very helpful with our saposcol restarts.

Premiere Pro CC 2114 8.2 Crashes Doing Just Basic Things

I get freeze-ups or crashes constantly! This seemed to start over the last few months or the last few Premiere Pro updates. The usual error is:
“Adobe Premiere Pro has stopped working… Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.”
The crashes seem somewhat random so I don’t always get the same crash twice doing exactly the same thing… I get them when I’m looking through the timeline, when I select a clip to lay on the timeline, try to make simple effect changes, open a “Bin” of clips etc…. It does seem to crash more with QuickTime clips. I don’t seem to have as much of a problem with CineForm, AVI’s or generic Mp4’s. I’m working on three projects now and they all crash but one seems to crash more. All projects use 1920X1080 clips, and all drivers are up-to-date and I have re-installed Premiere Pro several times. I can’t get several minutes into anything before I freeze-up or crash. I tried all of the remedies stated on other forums pertaining to Adobe’s QT 32 server’s handling or management issues with QuickTime which seemed to help a little but didn’t fix the problem… I don’t have any other media player software’s/codec’s loaded like Xvid or Real (although I do have FileMaker.)
Does anyone know of any other sources where this problem is addressed? Thank you for any help!

Seems that some are rolling back to 8.0 ... but I've been editing in 8.2 and worried that I won't be able to open my current projects after I roll back.

Basic thing to know about data transfer programs

I have one basic question need to be clarified:
I have one file contains 100 records, I have to upload this file to sap.
My question is :
suppose 80th record is the error record, what will happen if I am doing this using session metod?

Qn No: 1) No data will be saved .
2) The error record wont be saved. In your case all the records except 80th record will be saved using call transaction ( Foreground) .
3) No data will be saved .
