I've changed my apple id password, however icloud still only accepting my old password. (though to sign in here, for example, it only accepted my new one). My Mac was stolen and I really wanted icloud to be safe! How do I get this sorted?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

- Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into new account.
NOTE

I think , you shoul backed up your data on icloud , if you , you can restore everything , if you forgot icloud id and no way to get it , i think you lost everything ...

Check the mute switch on the side above the volume rocker. If the red dot shows, the phone is muted. You'll still be able to play the ringtones to select one.
I find that the switch can be thrown to "mute" by accident when I put my iPhone in my belt holster.

Only if you had ALREADY set up the FindMyiPhone feature, wifi is on and some other conditions are met. Report it to the police and change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod. Also see:

The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

Chrome is set to start on launch, so I'd get the following warning on every start/restart

I am very disappointed (yet I somewhat understand) Apple and how they completely have no interest in helping return lost items. I don't believe the person who traded me this was from around here so I don't even know where to begin. I seen on ebay you can sell them for parts but I don't really believe in doing that and would like to at least try my best to get it back to whom it belongs to. I will be contacting my local police department regarding this but I don't think they will be able to do much if it was stolen from somewhere else. However if nobody claims it in 90 days and I have a letter from my local police station saying I am the new owner, will that be enough for apple to unhold their policy of proving the item belongs to you?

I've tried using filezilla and downloaded the entire website file but havent managed to be able to open it up with iWeb yet. Anyone know how i can download my currently running website from the internet to continue working on it using iWeb with my new mac?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. If you don't have a backup copy of the Domain.sites2 file that iWeb uses to create the site you'll have to start over from scratch. However, Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing image, audio and/or video files in the published site in the reconstruction of the site.

One more question - I initially decided to do this because my Mac kept opening with the date changed to 2008, and I keep having to re - enter my Web key. In addition, it was running much slower. Since I 'cleaned' everything out, I thought all would work perfect. This morning, the date changed to 2008; again AND it again asks for my Web key. Does this mean my Mac has reached it's almost end or could I have a 'bug' on it?

If you have the iPhone in front of you, here's how you can learn the carrier:
Go to Settings > General > About and look at the "Network" row near the top. There's your carrier's name!

Nothing. It isn't turned on and/or connected to the Internet.
