Thank you. I put it in airplane mode like you suggested, but it looks to me like all the applications and ads are still running. Anyway, I'm just gonna play when I'm really really bored and use them as less as possible. Thank you again for your quick answer.

I had to do a restore on my I-phone 4 because it froze. I lost all of my apps, music photos and contacts. Does anyone know if there is any way at all to retreive the photos if I hadn't uploaded them to my home computer yet. Thanks for your help!

My I-phone 4 froze when I was trying to sync some music to it tonight from i-tunes. I lost all my contact info, apps and most importantly photos. I had just returned from a vacation to the mountains and had 200 or so photos that are now lost I really would like to know if there is any way to retrieve them because I hadn`t uploaded them to my computer yet. If the photos were not backed up with a recent backup, there is NO way to retrieve them.

In a technical sense, the differences between the displays on the iPhone 4 vs 4s are vast. I'm mean, they are both attached to 70 - 90% of the internal components and far from interchangeable. There are no differences however, that are noticeable by the user.

Why do I have a lite blue scan bar and a lite blue box that goes on then of at diffrent times on my I-pad 2.. Does anyone know if there is a virus scan i should have on my I-pad?.

This happens on and off and if the scan like bar is into going across then the small box is going around each place like around the longin bottom then the next thing after that. But never at the same time and sometimes it doesn't do it at all. But then it will do it right off. Thanks for the help. Alice.

Virus=no. There are no known viruses that affect iOS devices.

Try a reset by holding the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears. If the problem continues, take it in for diagnosis.

Does anyone know if there's any software for the iPad that allows you to trigger videos via Midi?

I am a musician and would like to trigger certain videos and audio samples via an external midi controller. Ideally I want to project the video image from the iPad into a projector or possibly via Air Play. I'm currently using Arkaos Midi VJ software on my old Macbook but would like to replace that with the iPad. If anyone has any thoughts, they would be much appreciated!

If you check the App Store in iTunes for remote control programs, you find a lot of them. You will have to decide which one is right for you.

I have "upgraded" from Pages 2.0.2 to Pages 5.5.3 and can no longer customize my line spacing. Does anyone know if there are more than 4 options for line spacing?

Is it possible to customize line spacing in Pages 5.5.3? My previous Pages 2.0.2 allowed me to choose spacing in 0.1 increments, but as far as I can tell Pages 5.5.3 only offers four options. Very limiting for creative documents.

Of course I am asking because when you use a filter on the iphone, then import to Aperture, it does not save your edited image. Unless someone knows a fix for that?

When you connect the iphone to usb the current contents of the Camera Roll will be transfererd. That does not show the edzts done later.
You have to save the edited image on your iPhone back to the Camera roll - edit a copy of the photo and then save the edted version to the camera roll or share it to the Photo Stream. Then you can transfer the edited image. I use iPhoto for iOS on the iPhone and iPad to share edited images to the camera roll.
When you connect the iPhone to the mac and download the camera roll, the edited versions you saved to the camera roll will also be transferred.
The Filters applied in the Camera App are handled well by Aperture work with the lossless workflow. They are showing in the Adjustment tab as "iPhoto Edits" and can be toggled on and off:

You can do this in Logic:
create a layer in the environment and create the redundant audio-objects. In the parameterbox uncheck all their "show" boxes so they only show meter, fader, pan, group and automation. Now put them ontop of each other, so you only can see the meters. Close the window, and open it again as float, hide the parameters and save the screenset.
Does that come close tto what you need?

There already are some tools in the App Store (eg. My Medical - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-medical/id347860026?mt=8).
If you mean something that would interact directly with a Hospitals main system or such, I don't know of any. There are numerous companies now selling and setting up central records systems around the country, but I don't know of any that are working on companion patient tools yet.
Some charity and non-profit companies, like MedicAlert Foundation are working on such things and may have mobile apps on their radar, as funds allow them to develop such thing. MedicAlert already offers an EMIR service online, but no standalone mobile app for it yet (you manage it via their web portal).
Epocrates (owned by Athena Health) might also have something in the works, or at least an interest in such a thing.

Unlikely. Based on the complete lack of detail of the issue provided it is entirely possible the same issue would occur.
Unless and until the user provides some actual details of the problem, there is nothing the indicate that the issue is with the iPhone.
