I've got a new SAP 1.72 instance on AWS that's not working at all.

It worked fine the first time I booted it up but now I keep getting errors. I've tried rebooting the server but it didn't help. I can't seem to find anything on Google as to the error messages I'm getting. The first on the list when I connect is;

I have stopped the instance and restarted this however the error persisted. It seems to be occuring when anything new is created and an internal process checks for the _SYS_STATISTICS:STATISTICS_ALERT_LAST_CHECK_INFORMATION table. After reviewing other posts I checked the _SYS_STATISTICS table distribution for my instance and came back with message no table found. Seems that this _SYS_STATISTICS schema is not included in the new instance build.
Will investigate further but not looking good at this point in time.

Your question doesn't make much sense, so this is a WAG. Launch the Java Preferences.app in /Utilities, install the Java Runtime Environment when prompted, and, when that's finished, enable Java and Web Start apps.

Hi. The two user tips both describe a sequence of steps that should get your library from the point where it threatens to wipe data from your device to where it is syncing normally, while recovering as much information as possible. It may still be necessary to wipe and reload the device but this should only take place once all the data that can be recovered has been recovered.
Doing step 1 of 8 and then complaining things aren't the way you want them to be yet strikes me as premature...
Since you appear to have all your media content, and we are discussing an iPod classic, not an iOS device, the main worries are already taken care of. What's left is ratings, playcounts, playlist membership and checked status. Since your device holds only part of your library at best you could only recover the missing data for the content that is on the device using third party tools.
Recreating the previous checked/unchecked status of every track in your library from where you are now may not be that easy. Syncing with selected playlists has many advantages, one of which would have been that you would have a named playlist that could have been retrieved by 3rd party software if you had used this method.
You haven't explained what caused your problem in the first place, but if you have a Previous iTunes Libraries folder holding old copies of your iTunes database (generated with each iTunes update) then it would be possible to restore the most recent of these and then update the library with any changes in your media folder.
BTW Apple doesn't offer free support for this kind of issue with iTunes.

Have you held the menu and left arrow together for 6 secs ? (I think you have from what you say).
Also try unpowering and restarting AppleTV.

You know that you have to connect the iPad to your PC with the cable that came with it - and then iTunes should start automatically and it will guide you through the set up process?
If you have already tried to connect the iPad - and you have launched iTunes - and you still have no luck - reboot your PC and then begin the process again.

I also have iPhone 5s on day one and it's working since. When it's not registering, I just clean the Home button and it works straight away.
Did you try when registering fingerprint using all angles? It should learn the more you use it.

What happens when you try to install the iTunes update? Error messages?
You might have better luck posting in the iTunes forum sinc you have an iTunes problem, not an iPod problem.

Most likely, water damage.
You can try putting your iPod in a tupperware, half filled (maybe half inch) with rice grains, close the cover for about a week.
If you have done this, as soon as it got wet, higher chances of success, now looks like the water moisture is getting to the LCD screen.
Then you can always bring it to Apple Genius bar, for a an overhaul. (may cost you half the price of a new iPod classic.)
