I've lost the ability to add new sites, change display size, etc. of sites shown when I open a new tab. What am I doing wrong?

At some point my ability to add sites from the new tab page, change site displayed sizes, etc. has stopped working. I liked this feature. What changed or what am I doing wrong?

Do you still see the about:newtab page with the 3x3 tiles?
Did you modify the number of rows and columns on this page?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 then you will need to do the update via your computer's iTunes as described half-way down the page that you posted from.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11). You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand sidebar of iTunes and selecting 'Backup' (on iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC)
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

Holding down the control key will invoke "right-click."
Depending on the View, holding down Shift will with either toggle the selection (Icon View), or it will make a continuous selection from the previous selection (List View or Column View).
The only way to make a continuous selection in Icon View is to drag out a selection marquee around or through the icons.
I can't remember the behavior of previous OS's.

New application what am I doing wrong?

ok, I copied the <installdir>/applications/vod to
<installdir>/applications/newapp
in the conf dir in the file fms.ini I added :

With these changes, no go
if I comment out the VOD_DIR =
/opt/adobe/fms/applications/vod/media line it works, then it plays
the media in the newapp dir.
if I comment out the other vod line, it plays the media in
the vod dir.
What am I doing wrong?

You're overwriting the variable VOD_DIR - try using VOD_DIR
and VOD_DIR2. They need to be distinct.

I have downloaded the update but Firefox keeps asking me to download the new version, what am I doing wrong?

I moved it to applications and then to the desk top icon for firefox. When I open Firefox it tells me that I need the new version. Is there a new version everyday?

I have lost the ability to add audio books to my iPhone 4S

I had audio books on my iPhone 3, but somehow they didn't transfer to my 4GS. I hadn't missed them until I went on my last trip and they weren't there. They are in iTunes but they go nowhere when I try to transfer them to my iPhone. Also, I don't see an iPod Icon on my screen like the one I had on my old iPhone.

To sync audiobooks, there is a check box under books in iTunes. Select it and whatever books you want to sync:
On my 4S, to play audiobooks, I simply go to the music app and under more, I select audiobooks. I don't have the podcasts app so audiobooks and podcasts are played through the music app.

I no longer can download my Canon photos to my iPad Mini. The only change to my technology is that I download IOS7 to my iPad. What am I doing wrong?

Did someone ever experience not being able to download photos to their iPad? Everything worked well when I was on a trip. Today, I tried to download photos and nothing happens. My camera seems to shut off. The only change I can see to my iPad is that I downloaded IOS 7 and I've recently purchased an iPhone 5s.
