You can have the iPod serviced by Apple or a third party repair company. Just do a simple Google search for iPod repair and you should get a plethor of results. There are some pretty good options out there, so be sure to find what works best for you and your budget.

You should do this to make this your iPhone and remove her info...

Then, on the device...
Settings > Messages > iMessage > Off
Settings > FaceTime > Off
Settings > iCloud > (scroll down) Delete Accout (this only unregisters and deletes it off the device)
Settings > iTunes & App stores. Tap the AppleID and sign out.
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
Unregister the device at https://supportprofile.apple.com

I am now in the situation where I have different iCloud email address on my iOS devices. My iPhone has a .me address my iPad has the iCloud address and I can see no way to change either.
I would like to use the .me address to send emails as this is the one everyone knows. Please help

Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.
You can then try using it as your primary email address on your account (you may need to log out and back in after removing it as your rescue email address).

Does it happen with the apps that came with the iPod?
Does it happen with all apps you have downloaded/installed?
Have you ried deleting the apps and redownload/install the apps? You will not be charged again if you are signed into the same iTunes account that originally purchased the apps.
Next would be to restore from backup
Last would be to restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

I went back to iOS 7 and my backup file is restoring but when its done nothing is on my phone still and only takes 11-15 minutes to restore the backup instead of taking 25+ minutes like usual so I guess the backup is corrupted. How can I fix this?

You need to manually manage the music on his iPod. Manually managing your device allows you to choose just the songs and videos that you want to have with you.

If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:
Disabled Recovery-must use syncing computer.
Otherwise y will have to restore and thus erase the iPod
You can restore from backup
If not in backup then:
- If you used PhotoStream then try getting them from your PhotoStream. See that topic of:

My ipod deleted everything it had on it and cannot get any songs stored on the ipod. Itunes has trouble finding my ipod at times, but when it finds it, it won't allow any files i try to put on my ipod stay on their.

I have the ipod classic 160gb and got it just last christmas. For quite awhile, it worked fine for me, but then one day i turned it on and there was no music or videos on my ipod. Battery was charged, the ipod functions well, just no music or videos. I tried connecting to my laptop and it wasnt showing up on itunes, but it was showing up on my computer. I updated my itunes to see if that worked and it did. It seemed to work, so I started putting my songs on it and my videos, and after i would disconnect it from the computer, nothing was on my ipod, again. I did this a couple of times with no result, with resetting it to factory settings 3 times to no avail. My brother told me to try to sync it up with my computer, so I tried that and it didn't work as well. I'm stumped on what to do. Can it be replaced?

I am so disappointed with the battery life on my iPod Touch 4G, even when I turn off location services and notifications and put it in airplane mode.
As such, I realize that I am going to have to get an external backup battery, even though I don't like the idea of carrying around yet another item.
What are the best choices out there, especially any ultra-portable (aka small and non-bulky) ones? I came across this Juice Pack Air - iPod Touch 4G Case, which seems like the perfect solution, but it is on back order and seems to have been so for a good amount of time. Who knows when it will be in stock again.

What generation is your iPod? My sister's 2g/3g(I'm not sure which) was doing something similar, but it would put a different graphic on the screen every time. We took it in to the apple store and they didn't determine what it was. One thing they said to try was to restore it and gradually add content on to see if it's an app or something loaded on it. If that doesn't work then they said it's probably something in the software or firmware. They gave her the option of getting one exactly like the one she had or getting the new one like I have. She ended up getting the new one on sale at target.

If the shuffle is the current 4th gen (or 3rd gen), here is one convenient way to do it.
Create a new playlist in your iTunes library, and put all of the songs you want on the shuffle on that playlist. (Or you can use an existing playlist.) Back on the shuffle's Music screen in iTunes, check the checkbox forSync Music. Choose the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Below that, find that playlist under Playlists and select (checkmark) it. You can select other items on those lists if desired, including other playlists.
When you click Apply, the songs in your selection(s) sync to the shuffle. Going forward, to update the shuffle's songs, just update that playlist in your iTunes library (add/remove songs). The shuffle does not need to be connected. The next time you connect the shuffle (or click Sync if already connected), iTunes automatically updates the shuffle with the same changes.

What size of photos to put into 5G ipod (smallest ideal size)?

I own a digital photography studio. I have just purchased a 5G ipod to hold some of my 'fun' & family photos. I have a folder set up on my computer to hold all of the photos that I put into the ipod. Since I crop each photo in Photoshop I would like to know if anyone would have any idea of the smallest size to crop each photo (H X W X 72ppi) to keep the folder size as small as possible. I know that the ipod will go in and change each image to the correct size it needs but I want to keep that photo folder as small as possible.

I took a look at the size of my images and they are even smaller then the 720 x 480 x 72dpi size. Since I don't have plans at this time to show them on a TV (just on the ipod) they are coming out fine at a smaller size. I created an action in photoshop to make the smallest side to be 288 x ?. Since I shoot with not only my small 'point and shoot' camera but some of my studio cameras as well (and they all have 'default' sizes) I have found it easy to run the action on a folder full of images that I want on my ipod and then move them over to the folder I load on the ipod.
Just one persons 'method of madness'...
