I want to avail the in-app purchase in Garageband, but I don't have a credit card.
Hi everyone! I want to purchase more sounds for GB, but then I don't have any credit card. My sisters do have their own associated with their corresponding apple IDs. But is it alright for me to use either of their apple IDs in order to purchase the app? Or could I just supply the credit card info in my own apple ID's billing info? My only concern is that it's not my name that will be placed in the billing info if I did the latter option.
I don't have a CC linked to my account. I use the iTunes gift cards.

any ideas ?The purchase of 3rd party apps is handled by Apple thru iTunes only. Apple collects the revenue for the developers keeping 30% of the sales price to cover credit card fees, hosting fees, DRM, collecting and paying applicable sales tax, etc. It isn't possible to charge 3rd party apps to your carrier's monthly bill, and your carrier probably wouldn't be interested in handling this for free if this were possible.

Whether you can use a debit card depends upon what country that you are in, have you tried adding it to your account to see if it's accepted ? If not then are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you can use them as your payment method - they are not available in all countries and they are country-specific, they can only be redeemed and used in their country of issue.

I received a $15.00 gift card. All but $.99 has been used. I want to make other purchases but can't as I'll be over the .99 with the tax......Of course I have a credit card on file, someone please tell me what to do in order to make another purchase?

Yes.
If you have a gift card balance, iTunes will use that.
If the total is more than that, the difference will be charged to your credit card.
You need do nothing.

You will have to restore your phone as a NEW device, not using backup at all (unless the backup predates the implementation of the restriction password).

You just have to enter your Apple ID on your grandson's iPad and then conect it to your computer.
You'll see on your iTunes library that there's a little label on the top left corner of iTunes that indicates you all you have on your library. Well, if you click on that, you'll see there's an option to see Apps. You click on that (remember, you must have your grandson's iPad connected) and you'll be able to see all the apps you have downloaded with your Apple ID.
Then you have to go to the top right of iTunes and you'll find a button that shows the iPad connected. Click on that and it'll show up your iPad summary. On top of that page, you'll see some options. One of them says "Apps". You click on that one and there should appear the apps you have downloaded. Choose the App you want to install and simply click "Install".
After that you can eject your iPad and enjoy your new App!

It sounds like you have a credit card saved to your Apple ID payment information and you would like it to be removed from the account and set the payment method to None. You should be able to do this with the following article:

It won't matter. You are not allowed to use the Indian iTunes Store from the UAE or anywhere else outside of India.
The Service is available to you only in India. You agree not to use or attempt to use the Service from outside this location. iTunes may use technologies to verify your compliance.
Since you are in the UAE, you can only use the UAE iTunes Store. You will need either to open up a new account in the UAE iTunes Store, or change the country of your existing account to the UAE.
