I want to copy and paste a long list of phone numbers into the 'to' field of messaging. All it does is become one long number instead. I have even tried commas in between. Any ideas? (They are NOT contacts)

That's not how iMessage was designed to work. It works with your contacts. You start typing a phone number or email address and you'll se a list of hint from auto-complete. After you select a suggestion, start typing another address. If the addresses you want are not in your contacts, you'll need to enter each of them manually.

Firefox doesn't store the bookmarks as separate files in a folder, but uses a sqlite database file with the name places.sqlite.
You will have to export those favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in Firefox.
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML : "From File"

Thanks for replying. Actually I want to copy/paste a recipe from a website so I can keep the recipe. On p 39 it tells how to copy/paste, which I do a lot already, but it doesn't tell where to paste it so I can access or print it whenever I want. It's kind of a long recipe. Too long to type out. Any ideas for that?

Create a new, separate login on your Mac, log into it, and see if the problem persists in that context. Post the results here; whether the problem is present in that login, or if it's specific to your current login.

If your using File>Place then photoshop cs2 creates what's known as Smart Objects, which photoshop 7 didn't have.
In photoshop cs2 you can rasterize the smart objects and that should make the Cut function available.
Select both placed layers, right click on the area to the right of the tumbnail and select Rasterize Layers.
If in photoshop cs2 you to Help>Photoshop Help and look under Layers>Smart Objects, that should give you a good overview of what smart objects are.

You are running 10.6.8? If yes, I assume you have your install disks? As the trash bin is part of Mail app and that is an integral part of the OS, the only way I know to get it back is to reinstall the OS. You won't lose any files, just reinstall the OS over the top of the current system.

I want to copy and paste a chart from an email into Pages on MAC. I only get the text. Not the chart.

I recieved an email that included a chart that I want to put in a document. When I copy and paste the chart in Pages it only shows the text without the chart. This shouldnt be too hard but I have no idea why it will not copy this in the format or image that it is. Thanks.

I'm sorry I do not know how to determine the format of the chart. It was sent to me in the body of an email...it was not an attachment. Is there a way for me to find that out?
I actually tried both ways...I copied just the chart & then I copied the whole body of the email that included the chart. Either way, the chart-lines/box did not paste. Only the text.

hi there, several years ago I just used sound edit to simply copy and paste selections of music and then put them together.
Today all the programs I find are far too complicated for what I want.
any suggestions for a program that will let me just select a section of music and paste it into a new file?

You can import songs from iTunes into GarageBand where you can cut, copy edit and what not.

Copy and paste no longer responds in iOS 8.1.2

iI've had trouble since I upgraded my iPad 3 to 8.1.2 with the copy and paste function and getting hyper links to respond. Anyone have a solution?

Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

The bar where the html is suppose to show, the new feature of firefox 4 doesn't seem to show it, what do i do when i want to copy and paste it without loading or refreshing the page again?

You can find the Copy, Paste, and Cut buttons in the Edit menu and the Edit sub menu in the Firefox menu.<br />
If you need access to the menu bar then press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
You can also find them as toolbar buttons in the toolbar palette in the Customize window and drag them on a toolbar.

I do not fully understand your question. However, you can use the GoodReader app to download and excel file from DP and open it is GoodReader. Then copy the address abd paste it in the email.
