Hi,
I want to do "Invite Friends" functionality in my application.
My requirement is like for the particular user([email protected]), i neet get a contacts list associated in gmail account.
So i need to connect to gmail internally and i need to display the contact list of the user([email protected]) in my appllication.
I need to do it for Yahoo mail also.
Any API?.
I got "jgmail" and "g4j" API but there is no documentation or examples to do.
Please help me out.

I got a solution.
We found one service provider(*Plaxo*) giving user contact infirmation.
Plaxo providing a free service.

Very very poor "Tell a friend" function in iMovie '08

Hi guys,
I just got the iLife '08 software yesterday. And already I've found a few minor errors that can be fixed with an update. In iPhoto there's an excellent invitation made for Mail when you select the "Tell a friend" function, but the one in iMovie '08 is JUST text! Oops! In .Mac is you already have a movie uploaded and you want to send an invitation directly from the web-page it creates a very similar invitation to that of the iPhoto app. So please look into that.
Talking about the .mac gallery invitation, there's a problem there too. The invitation asks me for my email and the emails where I want to send the invitation, but when the invitation gets there, my friends don't see that I sent it but rather that .mac gallery sent the invitation, this has to be fixed because now a days a lot of people have some sort of blocker for spam, in the very least it should send the invitation with my .mac email account, so that my friends would know that it came from me. Thanks. I hope to see updates soon.

When I click delete my emails get deleted with one click. I accidentally click delete and they get lost in my trash folder often. How can I enable the "are you sure you want to delete this email" function?

Game Center Inviting Friends

Between an iPod Touch 4G and an iPhone 3GS runnning 4.1 - both have game Center and 2 of the same games (Blast4 and FleetMaster)
When we go into a game and click to Play Online, then chose a friend from Game Center and click on "Invite Friend", the friend gets a notification with Accept or Cancel, but when the other user clicks Accept nothing happens, and The Inviter's invite just says Waiting.... with the spinning logo.
Is this a game center problem or a specific game problem? Anyone have any ideas why?

Contacted their support.. but no answer yet. This has been going on for the past few days.
Weird thing as well
-When I send out an invite --> my recipient never even receives an invite.
-When I am sent an invite from some one else --> I click accept, and just stuck with a waiting for so-and-so to start the game, and while sitting next to the friend who sent me the invite, all his screen showed was "waiting" for me to enter the game...
So annoying... any one know of any fixes? I already restored my phone... reinstalled Fruit Ninja countless times with no change..

Game center cannot invite friends...please help

As the title says...myself and lot of friends cannot invite each other to play games...the wheel just spins and spins till you just have to cancel the invite...all notifications are on for inviting friends and games...
No-one seems to know the answer, hope someone here does

1. Make sure notifications is on for game center, otherwise thy won't get invites.
2. Make sure neither one of you has a bad connection.
3. Make sure you and your friend are both on at the same time and you guys are not sending invites at the same time.
4. Keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo on your screen.
These are some solutions that helped me, hope they work for you too.

hi,
Custom function module start with Z or Y.So go to table TFDIR and enter z* and y* on input screen field function module name and then check number on entries by pressing tab number of entries on application toolbar.
So number of custom function module = z(number of entries) + y(Number of entries) .

Usually private components of a class can be accessed by methods of that class only..Sometimes, it is necessary for two classes to work so close to each other that one class needs to access the private attributes of the other.
In that case, you can make the former class, a friend of the latter class.
Suppose class A is made as a friend of class B.
Then A and its subclasses can access the private or protected components of the class B.
But they cannot access the private or protected components of subclasses of class B.

Want to overwrite the standard functionality.

I have table name on selection screen field, then if I execute I want the selection screen like se 16 as it
shows differnt fields filter criteria and further if I say execute, it should not show standard functionality,
like se 16, but it should show , what ever I have to show in the output. means I have to overwrite the std functionality currently happening in se 16..
if I enter VBAK and got the selection screen fields and I do execute(like se 16), but if I want to supress the further execuation as happening currently (as per the standard code), and I want to write my own functionality when I execute the seclection screen of different fields of VBAK..
can anybody help me ?
the thing is my selection screen (both selection screen coming in se16- like first is only "table name" and another is "table fields") is same as like se 16 but further functionality is different..

Thanks for the input. My exact requirement is, I don't want to supress any field, the current functionality of SE 16 is showing some selection screen fields when we enter the table name and after that, It show
the data base entries, In my case, I need the exact same selection screen with table name and further selection screen fields under that table but I don't want the further entries as per the existing code of se16, I want to use theses slection screen only and want to write my own functioality.
As I want same selection screen as per se 16,so I used call transaction for se 16 or different
function modules, so by using theses , I got the selection screen but by default when u execute, It will show the entries like se 16, but I don't want that..

On the iPod, go into Settings/General/Auto-Lock and set that for the amount of time you want, form the choices given.
However, a note of caution; this isn't a screensaver function, it's there to prolong battery life. The longer the screen is on before turning itself off, the more battery you are using and the shorter the time before you run out of power.
There's possibly a better way for you to use you iPod than to keep the screen on. Why are you constantly going into the music function? If it's to select a new track, you could possibly use the Shake To Shuffle feature, which will select a new track at random when you shake the iPod. Alternatively, use the basic Shuffle feature. Or create a Playlist (on the iPod), where you can select the songs you want to play at that time, put them in one list and let the iPod play them.

First you have to know what you are doing, like an engineer : you have a
Laplace, continuous time transfer function but LabView handles discrete
signals only. Use matlab/simulink if you want to simulate continuous time
systems easily...
If you definitely want to use LabView, the first step is to discretize your
continuous-time transfer function, i.e. decide a sampling rate and convert
it to a "z transfor
m". Then you can directly use the "IIR Filter.vi" as I
said earlier.

If the Apple Store Genuis says you can't sync music from an audio CD to your iPod (because it's too old), he or she is not much of a "genius."
That question is not even related to your iPod. First step is to "rip" the music CD into your iTunes library. Once the songs on the CD are in your iTunes library, they are like any other songs in your library, and you can sync them to your iPod as desired. NOTE: When you insert a music CD, it appears in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES. If you do not see the sidebar (along left side of window), from the iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
It was the context of your original question, not the actual task. You can easily add songs files that are on a flash drive to your iTunes library. Open a window that shows the flash drive contents. Drag the song files from that window to the iTunes window, and drop them on your iTunes Music library. Or, use the command
iTunes menu bar -> File -> Add to Library...
NOTE: Open your iTunes preferences, Advanced tab. If the checkbox for Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library is NOT checked, those songs from the flash drive will only be accessible (for playing and syncing) when the flash drive is connected.
