But the backup is of course not compatible with the old iOS.
So will it be possible to get the new iPhone going, then do the software update to 8.3 and then download / use the data from

2. Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
3. Reactivate phone and follow prompts to restore iCloud (or iTunes) backup.

If you have lion and iPhoto '11 (latest version is 9.2.1) you can set up and turn on iCloud there and if you have IOS 5 on your mobile then your mobile devices will sync with your Mac

First...I am NOT a developer...Just a "regular" user who is now fed up that once again, a new Adobe product has been released with bugs, so now I can no longer see whast I need to on my laptop.

Tried to install your latest version of Flash Player six times...all of these times I received a confirmation that it was successfully completed. NONE of those time did it work (tried YouTube, and your own site...nada). I used the troubleshooting tips for Windows 7 and IE9...did not work. And now I can't find a way to reinstall the old program that at least worked! I need to be able to use this functionality to work today...what do I do?????

I own a small company and we are having the same problems.
IE9 is not working with the latest flash update infact the update has messed up flash complety for all sites once installed. I went to YouTube eariler and it warned that I needed to install to the new Flash Player upon instaling and returning to YouTube it had the same message. This led us to download both the x86 and x64 versions and useing the uninstaller went through each one and tried the updates. None of the downloadable updates from Adobes site works. I have also loaded up Windows XP in a virtual machine and trying IE 8 with the latest updates and it as well does not work and does the same thing upon updateing it just keeps saying to install the latest update allthough it has allready been done!
Now on the other hand I loaded FireFox and it had the same update and upon restarting the browser after applying the update and it works just fine!
Im on a Windows 7 x64 Ultimate box and ran the WindowsXP in the VM. FireFox was loaded on the main OS and worked fine after said update.
Of Course I have allready double checked the running addons in IE 9 and the files within the /system32/ and all the flash files go there (x86 and x64 were differnt named files)
Im guessing there is something conflicting betwen IE (IE 8 and 9 tested)
Now this is not just happining on this machine but all of our desktops and laptops no one has any trouble with FireFox working
Also this will break all flash objects in IE even localy as now no flash works it acts like it is not installed.
Guess will see how long this takes to get fixed or aknowledged... lol

by "repair" I mean I went to the control panel, option - programs and features, and in the list of all my installed programs I selected "Apple Software Update". On top of the screen you find the options Uinstall, Change and Repair. I clicked the repair button and that did the trick. After the repair I could uninstall the program. I also uninstalled iTunes, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support en Bonjour, thus all Apple programs. Then I installed iTunes 10.5 again and everything went fine.

I can't remember, too... but I vaguely recall iTunes extracting the audio from an mp4 file I have... you just have to configure iTunes encoding/grabbing to mp3 or aac then right-click on the item in the library and convert...

It is part of the OS.
In some Middle eastern countries, they do not allow this feature. If your phone came from one of these countries, you cannot get facetime at all.

Your best to buy the retails version of Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 Leopard.
If your iBook is above 800Mhz processor and the memory is above 512MB, hen Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is what I'd be buying.
You can obtain these disks from Amazon, eBay or other online Mac parts vendors.
Be wanted, these disks can be expensive to buy.
If your looking for the original system installation disks (they are grey disks) then your best place to look is at a specialist Apple stockist or eBay.

To get it on your Mac Pro just copy the aplication from the aplication folder on your MacBook. You can do this via a thumb drive or over a local network connection.

When installing it throught iTunes, it is showing that Skype is a free application but when I continue to download and install it, it asks for payment through credit cards!? So what is the meaning of showing the skype application as "Free"?
