I want to order 4x6 prints of the photos I have imported from my digital camera. How do I crop them so the prints will turn out the way I want them to? Also, is there a way to preview prints before ordering?

Select the Photo
Click on Edit
Click on the Crop Tool
Check the box at 'Constrain' and select '6 x 4'
Crop.

Hi, this problem is also happening to me also. I just took some pics of my daughter on my nikon d3100 and imported them from SD card to iPhoto. It says 'preparing to import' but during the process i do not see the photos being imported. After it was done, there was a new event album, i clicked opend it to see my photos but all of them were blank. I forced quit and re-launched iPhoto but it didnt work, i even re-imported, not to no avail.. Please help. Earlly 2011 13' MacBook pro 10.7.2

If the Photos were Added during the Sync Process you will need to Sync again and Delete them...

How do i delete a video or photo from my iPhone that i have imported from my mac?

i recently downloaded all of my photos and videos onto my macbook. i went to try and download one of the videos onto my hone and successfully figured that out, but when i went to my photos on my iPhone it wasn't on my camera roll but had created its own album and will not allow me to delete the video. Any suggestions?

If you use your computer to put a picture/video on the phone, you will have to use your computer to remove it.

Use the Transfer Purchases command in the File menu and then sync, authorizing the computer from the Store menu if needed.

It is not possible to put synched photos on your iPhone from one computer into another.

I upgraded to ios6 on ipod touch and after I completed a sync on my PC but I suppose it did not sync, because now it will not restore from a back up and wants to restore from another account that I have saved. Can I some how restore from the apps?

As I said, the backup that iTunes makes does not include apps (and music) if those items where not in the iTunes library on the computer on which you restored they will not be on the iPod.

It sounds like you may use a POP account for your email. With a POP account, email applications like Mail and Outlook can remove emails from the server, so when another device tries to check the server for new emails, it doesn't see any.
You may need to adjust settings in Outlook so that the emails are not removed from the server when downloaded. I found an article with more information:
When using a POP email account with multiple devices, email messages may only appear on the first device that receives them. This occurs when an email client is configured to automatically remove email from the server once an email client has received it. You can configure your email client (or clients) either to keep a copy of the email on the server, remove it after a certain number of days have passed, or keep it until you move it from your Inbox.

When you connect your phone and start iTunes on the left side you will see your phone listed under devices.Click on te icon next to it that looks like a battery. Click on the music button at the top and uncheck the sync music box.

This puts a very important issue!
We seek the solution in the short term.

Just done: the application crashes trying to export IDML!!!
This is not a good sign. Try moving the pages to another document using the Pages panel menu.
But you should also try copying all the items on one page and pasting them into another document.
Then when you've got a few pages in the new document, try moving or deleting them. Or try exporting as IDML.
Also, build a completely new sample document (doesn't have to be all the information) from scratch and try deleting/moving those pages.
This will help us see if it's just one document or all.
