I want to update to Firefox 4, but I LOVE the look and user friendliness of Firefox 3, can I keep the look of Firefox 3 while using Firefox 4?

You can come close to it, but not the exact appearance. You can move the reload and home buttons back to where they used to be, you can force the menu bar to be visible, and you can turn off "Tabs on top". If you really want the status bar back, you can install the extension Status-4-Evar.
If you want to move up to FF6, you can also get rid of that ridiculous greying out of most of the addressbar by setting this in about:config:
* browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled - set to false

This was the scenario:
The first time I updated, it was only my music that was lost.
When I got my music back, I lost my apps.
When I got my apps back, my contacts, notes and photos were lost.
Now I got back everything except for my photos.
(Yes, I restored from backup several times since the first update.)
Do you think if I try restoring from back up, my photos that were taken from my ipod will be restored finally?

This may help. Numbers tables can have Grid Lines (Format Panel > Table > Grid Lines)...
... and Cell Borders (to change all cells, select the whole table by clicking on the "bullseye" top left) then Format Panel > Cell > Border > select a Border Pattern and Style
1 pt Borders (my preferred default):
They don't disappear when I click away. Also, the borders show up well when I post a screen shot to this forum .

Are you talking about changing the Apple ID used for purchases in iTunes? If so go to 'Settings->iTunes & App Store-> then 'tap' on the Apple ID that appears and click Sign Out on menu that appears. You can now login with a different Apple ID.

If you don't have a 2nd device available which is already setup with your Sync account, pairing can't be done.
In order to set up a '''new device''' when you can't "pair", you need three things; the user account name ''(email address used)'', the password for the account, and the '''Sync Key'''.
If you didn't make a copy of the Sync Key as prompted at the end of the Sync set up process, you can't successfully setup a new device and won't be able to recover your data.

You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad. Take note of the last part in my post about using recovery mode. That is probably your only option now.

I installed the latest Firefox nd now all my menus are in a foreign language, so I can't find the setting I need to change.

I can't read what the menus and so forth say, so i can't find the right setting to change the language. I tried re-installing again but it did it again.

Hey you can change it by using several steps :
* Open Firefox
* Click the list like Button of your browser shown at '''right side''' of window (older versions click on firefox button and then tool menu) and click on the '''Options''' menu item
* The Options window will now be open
* Click on the Content icon at the top of the Option window
* Under the Languages heading(3rd line tab), click the Choose button
* You should now see your current language(s) in order of preference from top to bottom
* To add a language: click the Select a language to add.. drop-down list button, Select a language, and click the Add button
* To change the order of preferred language(s): Select a language, then click the Move Up or Move Down buttons to change the order
* To remove a language: Select the language and click the Remove button
* When you have finished choosing your languages, click on OK to Languages window, then OK to the Options window
