I want today's date as delivery date.................

hi,
sap gurus,
good morning to all,
Before transportation module configuration
for Eg; if today is the day of sales order creation my schedules lines in that order use to show today's
date is the date of delivery automatically.
after transportation module configuration the same schedule lines is showing 13 days after only you
can deliver the goods.
where i did wrong in configuration settings
please let me know
regards

Dear Balaji
I think u r working on IDES, hope u know that when the schedule line is determined, the system carries out Backward Scheduling and or forward Scheduling, accordingly the delivery date is confirmed.
Now various factors to be considered in Scheduling are - Transportation Planning Time, Material Staging Time, Pick/Pack Time, Loading Time,
These time duartions are maintained in  IMG  -  LE - Shipping - Basic Shipping functions - Scheduling - Define Scheduling by shipping pt. - Maintain duration
U can also activate / Deactivate scheduling for the Sales Doc here only in ' Scheduling by Sales Doc Type'
Again how the Loading Time and Pick/Pack time is to be determined is defined here in 'Scheduling by Shipping Point'
Hope this helps u.

  • Store Replenishment STO created date and delivery date

    Hi
    The Store replenishment STO generated out of WRP1 ;
The  STO document date and delivery date is defaulted to 3 days later.
ie. WRP1 was run on 31st May.  But the delivery date and the STO doc. date is 3rd June.
Is there any way to influence this?  We want it to be defaulted to the next date;  Replenishment is to be run for th next date.
    ie. June 1st.
    Regards

    Hi Carlos
The master data of the article field MARC-PLIFZ- is maintianed as 0 days.
Basically the replenishment is done in the same day.  (DC in the same city as the store)
However still the delivery date in the STO is by default 3 days later.
In the WRP1 screen - the  planning date is today date.

  • For Dynamic Credit Check replacing Material Availability date with Delivery date

    Hi All,
Our client has this requirement, where they want to change the standard SAP functionality which Checks whether a schedule line item in a sales order is with in horizon or not based on "Material Availability Date" VBEP-MBDAT. They want in place of this Delivery date of schedule line should be used i.e. VBEP-EDATU. I did some research and found out that this could be done technically by updating the BADI "BADI_SD_CM".
Now we are stuck as to what needs to be changed? has anybody worked on this kind of requirement before?
    Please share your past experience.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Prateek Maheshwari.

As you know, VBELN-Currency-POSNR-ETENR-MBDAT is standard exposure key of sales order but my ex-colleague changed it into VBELN-Currency-POSNR to compress exposure data for certain CCA.
In this case, of course, that CCA should meet some biz requirements(User-exit. etc) like no partial delivery. etc.... for integrity of exposures..
This case is different because you want to change value of key....and it's Date!!!!
Anyway I think it's techinically possible but it's very risky in live system because existing exposures would be not removed even if delivered, changed, deleted or blocked.
So you have to delete all exposures and rebuild after program changed.
I'm writing it's possible now but I refused when my customer want to change it because I don't have any way to rebuild huge data in live system.

  • Req. delivery date and Delivery date should be same in a sales order

    Hi experts,
We need a customization for getting Requested delivery date, Material Availability date and Delivery date should be same.
Example if I keep request delivery date as 12/12/2012, system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity.
    How to achieve this customization..
    Thanks,
    Bala.

system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity
What you are going to achieve by this?  Hope you know the concept of MAD and confirmed quantity fields.  Let us assume, if stock is not there for a material for which sale order is created, can you let me know, you want the system still to confirm the quantity? You can post the goods issue only if system confirms the quantity in schedule line which is possible, only if stock is made available.  If client asks something which is not possible in SAP, think in a logical way how SAP works and convince them accordingly.

  • Where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date

    Hi All,
Please let me know, where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date?.
    Adi.

    Hi,
DELIVERY DATE  will be maintain in the SALES DOCUMENT TYPES in VOV8 in the tab REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE/PRICING DAE/PURCHASE ORDER DATE.
The field is PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE .
If you check the field then the document created date will be the Requested date and will be carried from ORDER TO DELIVERY.
If you want the delivery date other thann the CURRENT date then you have to maintain the LEAD TIME in days in the same tab.
SHIP DATE: is the date on which you do the PGI in the delivery .
Please check them and revert back if u need further details
    thanks,

  • Significance of pricing date and  delivery date.

    Hello guys,
Can any one explain the significance of  pricing date field in
                 1) Sales order
2)Details screen of Condition type .in v/06 screen
                 3) Copy controls.
    Regards,
    k.Vivek

    Dear K.Vivek,
    http://sap-img.com/sd013.htm
Pricing date based on delivery date
    Used transaction VOV8.
This configuration is by order type.
There is a field called proposal for pricing date.
There you can select pricing date as requested delivery date.
A - Proposed pricing date based on the requested dlv.date (Header)
This control is set at the document level as oppose to the condition type level (PR00).
That means your other condition types such as surcharges and discounts are also determined using the requested delivery date.
If your requirement is for PR00 to alone to be priced at delivery date then this will not work.
How pricing date is determine in the sales order and billing document? Where is the setting?
The pricing date is proposed based on the setting you make in the Sales document configuration. ( T code : VOV8)
You have a field" Prop.f.pricing date " in the Requested delivery date /  pricing date /  purchase order date  segment.
Then you can choose the follwoing options:
Blank - Indicates the current date as the pricing date
A -  Indicates the date based on the requested delivery date
B - Indicates the date based on the order validity start from date
And the pricing in the billing document is copied from thte sales order / Delivery document..
It again depends on the setting u have in the copy control from order - billng or delivery - billing.
In the copy control, in the item settings you have two fields relavant for this.
One is pricing source and the other is pricing type.
The pricing sources are generally the order.   But if you want you can change it to other values mentioned in the drop down,
but this values have no effect if the pricing type is B.
Any other value other than B in the pricing type will take the reference document price mentioned in the pricing source field.
but for the pricing type B.  The new price is determined in the billing order.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

    Hi Venkat,
Even it did not update in my user exit when I update from VBEP-WADAT.  So, I did back calculation (considering route lead time) and updated Delivery date field VBEP-EDATU.  It is simple.  I have given the sample code as below.
if lines( xvbap[] ) = 1 and VBEP-ETENR = '0001' and            "Calculate RDD while the first line item entered
vbap-route <> space and <<your GI date>> is not initial.    "Only when header RSD is filled
select single TRAZTD into ws_traztd from tvro
                where route = vbap-route.
          ws_days = ws_traztd / 24 / 10000.
if ws_days <> 0.    "Only when Transp. Lead time is maintained ( So, will not affect other entities )
select single FABKL into ws_fabkl from T001W
                where WERKS = vbap-werks.
CALL FUNCTION 'WDKAL_DATE_ADD_FKDAYS'       "Calculate as per Factory calender
                 EXPORTING
                   i_date        = <<your GI date>>
                   i_fkday       = ws_days
                   i_fabkl       = ws_fabkl
                 IMPORTING
                   E_DATE        = ws_date
                  E_FKDAY       =
                 EXCEPTIONS
                    ERROR         = 1
                    OTHERS        = 2
             IF sy-subrc = 0.
VBEP-EDATU = vbak-vdatu.   "copy to the first line item
             ENDIF.
          endif.
        endif.    "Route days

  • Compare Actual PGI date and Delivery date

    Hi SAP Guys,
I want to compare delivery date and actual PGI date. In likp having so many dates which date should I compare with Actual Pgi date. My requirement is identify the back dated PGI and delay PGI. Here I have seen created on date what the use of this date. Please guide me above issue.
    Regards
    Venkey

    Hi there,
Created date is the date on which the delivery is created.
Delivery date is the confirmed delivery date that is porposed after the availability check. It is same as delivery date at item level in SO.
Actual GI date is the date on which GI is done. It is updated after PGI is done. Planned GI date is updated when delivery is created.

  • How to get invoice price based on order date or delivery date?

    Hi,
Our system is configured to create invoices with pricing based on date of delivery.
But we have a number of customers who get pricing based on date of order.
Right now, people are manually changing the price and then generating the invoice.
    Is it possible to:
    1) add a ZZ field in the customer master that indicates which pricing date to use?
    2) have SAP generate the invoice with the correct pricing date based on this selection?
    Thx.
    Andy Jacobs

    Hi Andrew,
We do have the exact same problem.
One solution would be to create a new order type. Within that new type you can specify what date should be proposed as pricing date by SAP.
Unfourtantely, here we are not able to add a new type. Does anyone know how this can be solved in another way?
    Thanks,
    Tim

  • GR date before delivery date in PO

    Hi all
What setting is required to allow GR to be posted before the delivery date mentioned in PO?
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad,
System will allow you to post GR before the delivery date mentioned in the PO. If you are getting any error message, then you can make it to warning message in SPRO -- Materials Managment -- Purchasing -- Environmental data -- System messages.
Identify the message number and change it to W.
    Hope this clarifies.
    Thanks,

  • Excise invoice date and delivery date difference..

    Hi all,
    1. Excise invoice is generated in the month of July for the delivery happened in June. Is there any implications?
When i do registry update and Utilisation, does it have an effect?
    2. Pending Excise are yet to be created for the month of June, started creating the excise document for the July delivery. Do I need to cancel the July delivery excise document and then post the June delivery excise document for continuity of excise numbers, before starting the excise creation for July..
    Kindly guide me..
    Thanks,
    Saravana Raja

    Hi,
As mentioned by Raj... it is OK as long as the goodds have not physically left the plant.
The excise invoice has to be created immediately after the PGI is completed in the delivery and also discuss with your excise department for the regular practise .
Make it a practise to check for all the open deliveries in the last week of the month and ensure that all the required excise invoices are created.

  • I just wanted to ignore the delivery date given by the system

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good afternoon to all,
i just wanted to ignore the delivery date which is given by the system.
suppose if ur creating a sales order today then system designed date for delivery is after 7 days.
    i doesn't want that day.
i want the same date as delivery date in which order is created.
    regards,
    balaji.t

You can ignore the Requested delivery date , beacuse during delivery scheduling system takes this date into consideration.
Yes , you can default the requested delivery date by changing in the Sales doc type (VOV8) as per your requirement in 'Lead time in dats field",  also you can change this default date as requested by the customer, during order processing .
If you make the "Lead time in days" field blank, then system will automatically propose to-day's date as the Requested Delivery date.
Whichever date you may put, system takes it into consideration  in delivery scheduling.Requested delivery date means , customer wants to receive the goods on this date. System checks by delivery scheduling, whether this date can be confirmed or not.
First, it starts Backward Scheduling, means starts calculating backward from this Requested Delivery date and calculates the "Material Availabilty date"& the "Transportation Planning date".
If  both these date ("Material Availabilty date" & "Transportation Planning date) are after the order date and the Material is available on the Material availability date then , the Requested delivery date can be confirmed.
Even one of the date is earlier than the order date or  the material is not available on the Material Availability date then system can not confirm the Customer's Requested delivery date & immediately it goes for forward scheduling. Accordingly you get the delivery date/ dates in the schedule line for the item.
So how system can ignore this date ?
Actually this date is tested whether it can be confirmed or not
& whether Forward scheduling will take place or not.
    I hope it is clear.

  • For a Sales order, what is Actual Delivery Date to Customer?

    Hi Experts,
I am an ABAP consultant. In a particular report, for a Sales order I am asked to display:
    ‘Delivery Create Date (LIKP-ERDAT)’,
    ‘PGI Date’,
    ‘Requested Delivery Date (VBAK-VDATU)’ and
    ‘Actual Delivery Date to Customer’.
And in addition, I also have to show:
‘No: of days between Order Create Date to Delivery Create Date’,
‘No: of days between Delivery Create Date to PGI Date’,
‘No: of days between Requested Delivery Date to Actual Ship Date’ and
‘No: of days between Order Create Date to Actual Ship Date’.
I’ve searched SCN for similar questions but I couldn’t get clarity. I’ll be very grateful if somebody can explain me how to find the ‘Actual delivery date to customer’ and what is the difference between this date and ‘Billing date’. Also, please explain, the difference between ‘Delivery Create Date’ & ‘PGI’?

    Hi Rashmith,
It seems the report is related to delivery. Below is the explanation for the different terms you mentioned in your question.
Delivery Create Date (LIKP-ERDAT)---- when a delivery is created with or without reference of an order system writes the date of creation time of creation and created by in the header data. Creation of delivery does not means that goods are dispatched. There are many steps further after a delivery is created before goods are dispatched.  For example I have created an order, created delivery on 01.01.2014; delivery date will always be 01.01.2014.
PGI Date (LIKP-WADAT_IST)------ Post goods issue date is the date on which goods move out of the company to carrier. This is the last step of delivery. When delivery is created system derives different dates of planning; at this stage it will determine the planned PGI date (LIKP-WADAT) and when actual PGI  happens system writes the date in LIKP-WADAT_IST which is actual goods issue date.
Requested delivery date (VBAK-VDATU)------When order is created for a  customer he asks for a material, a quantity and a date on which he wants the goods. This date on which customer wants the goods is called requested delivery date. Based on the requested delivery date system will check feasibility of delivering the goods on the requested delivery date based on the delivery scheduling.
You can get the RDD based on the below logic.
Input the delivery number in VBFA-VBELN and VBFA-VBTYP_V and get VBFA-VBELV.
Input VBFA-VBELV in VBAK table and get the value of VDATU.
Actual Delivery Date to Customer-----Actual delivery date is Actual post goods issue date (LIKP-WADAT_IST). This is the date on which goods are issued to the customer and customer is liable for billing for the goods dispatched.
Difference between the Actual delivery date (Actual goods issue date) and billing date.
Normally as per standard SAP, once goods are moved out of the company customer is liable to be for billing for the goods dispatched. So by default in standard SAP system copies the actual goods issue date (LIKP-WADAT_IST) as billing date (VBRK-FKDAT) irrespective of the date of creation of the invoice (If delivery is goods issued on 01.01.2014 and billing document/invoice is created today i.e. 14.04.2014, system by default will take 01.01.2014 as billing date). And this is the correct practice.
However  if you want the current date as the invoice creation date instead of the actual goods issue date we can control it by copy controls feature given in SAP.
So based on the copy controls setting, it may be different from the actual goods issue date/ actual delivery date.

  • Delivery Date Monitor Against Purchase Order Delivery Date.

    Hi All
Forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong forum area but I'm fairly new to this and have spent some time looking for a correct area but still not sure??? Anyway........
....I'm wanting to know if there's a standard SAP Report or anything that can tell me which deliveries from suppliers are late or due.  I can get out ABAPer to create me a new program to do this but I was hoping that there would be something standard.
I want to look at the delivery date on my PO's and if the date is less than or equal to today and the parts have not been Goods Receipted, display them.  It would also be useful if we could see what was due in over the next few days.
Again sorry if this is in the wrong section but any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Many Thanks
    Chris
