When I open Firefox, the tabs for the homepages are dark grey and the print is a lighter grey but they are hard to read. How can I change the color of these tabs and fonts?

I have observed my "Other" data increases in size after I deleted a video. My Other data once get to 18GB, yes eighteen.
It seems like the only way to control this mysterious "Other" data is restoring the iPad to its manufacture configuration. Restore it to a previous back up doesn't help either. Once in a while is ok, but several times a month is a pain.
After the last restore (to manufacture), my other immediately jump to 0.4GB and seems to hold at 0.65GB.
Looks more and more like a bug in iOs.

LV doesn't have any sort of Startup folder as we are a little concerned
about the security issues this brings about. You can specify VIs on the
command line for LV to open. And VIs can be set to run when opened.
Combining these features, you wind up using the system's Startup folder,
placing either a batch file or a shortcut to LV with the command line
options added to list out the VIs, and finally, set the VI properties
so
that the VIs run when opened.

i am new to Oracle AQ. we are using oracle 9.2.04 version.in our setup there are external interfaces which access queues and de-queue messeges. Sometime these interface goes down and messeges get stuck in the queue and the blockage grow. i would like to know , how can i check what are the interfaces working on my 'XYZ' queues to fix the problem. thanks in advance

Try this - you can broadcast a message [[with message retaintion time set a little higher so that messages stay in the queue for sometime]] to the queue you want to monitor. Then you can check the queue table in the database. It must have messages listed out for all the subscribers.

Any search toolbar and changes to search engines can take place by downloading and installing software; usually "free" software from the internet. Babylon can be downloaded and installed by itself or as a "ride-along" when installing/updating some software from the internet. Always look for an opportunity during the installation to un-check boxes that will install "ride-along" items that you do not want. Firefox installation does not include such "ride-along" items.

Where can I find the system requirements for each version of firefox. I would like to know which version of Firefox is best for my 6-8 year old computer with AMD Sempron 2500+ 1,75 GHz and 512 RAM.

Hi, I bought an imac 27" quad-core i5 with 1067Mhz DDR3 RAM in it. I would like to know if this is the right type of speed for my imac as I found out that these imacs come standard with 1333Mhz DDR3's? It is crashing a lot!

Hi all. I bought an imac 27", 3.1Ghz quad-core i5 Mid 2011 last year in 2012. The machine has been crashing ever so frequently. I upgraded the RAM from the 4Gb it came with to 12Gb. It still crashes! I recently noticed that my imac came with 1067Mhz DDR3 memory chips ( slower speed) than the Apple mac recommended 1333Mhz DDR3 memory chips.
The shop I bought it from ( Incredible Connection, Woodmead, South Africa) are refusing to own up as they are saying the 1333Mhz chips have to be ordered in advance. Surely they are supposed to sell the product with the right kind of Ram in it? Not for me to find out? Now I have to fork out more money to make my imac factory standard? Maybe I am wrong, But do these Mid 2011's run well on 1067Mhz memory chips if I upgrade to 32Gb? Is it possible people are swapping 1333Mhz chips from new machines with 1067Mhz chips which are way too cheaper? My system version( SMC Number) is 1.72f5

Mac and Mac models are picky about the RAM the Mac needs to see and use.
As you have found out, the 1067 speed RAM will not work in your year and model iMac.
You need the 1333 speed RAM.
If, you can return the RAM for a refund, do it!
If not, try online Mac RAM source and seller Crucial memory. They have a table that matches your Mac to the correct and reliable RAM. You may need to contact them to see whether or not they ship to South Africa, though.
If Crucial dpesn't work out, here's the specs for your year and model iMac that you need to seek out and purchase.

Preview your page in a Browser like Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Use Right click > Inspect Element. Drill down to the Tab and see which selector contains a width property. It may be JavaScript driven so also examine the HTML source code for any inline styles.

I would like to know if it is possible to share my screen if I am using an iPad or tablet device? I found somewhere that shows how to do it on iPads but with the use of a cable and laptop/desktop to allow the accessibility but is there anyway of doing it

I have checked on a couple of places where it shows how to use a cable to connect the ipad to a computer and share the ipad screen but through the meeting room on the computer. Is there any way of doing it all from the ipad or tablet device (Android based)?

No, this functionality is not available on mobile devices. You can mirror your screen onto a computer, as you mentioned above, but that is the only option.

Although upgrading shouldn't damage your data/personal files, before any upgrade it is essential you have tried and tested full backup (Time Machine or a clone) so that you can restore to the previous state if things go wrong, or for whatever reason you want to revert.
Check the tech specs to make sure your Mac is compatible with the upgrade, and although 2gb RAM is stated as the requirement, real world use suggests that anything less than 4gb and Mavericks will be a very slow performer:

I have my iTunes media on an external drive but I would like to know if I keep the library file back to my internal hard drive so it gets backed up by Time Machine.

I never lost any media mind you just the library file that tell iTunes where everything lives.
On this point, you can keep a copy of of the "Itunes Music Library.xml" file, which contains the itunes metadata for your music library (songs & playlists).
Obviously, you would still need the files themselves for this to be of any worth, but if you ever find yourself in the same situation you can use the .xml file to recreate iTunes as it was. Keep in mind that you must import the .xml file into iTunes for this to work, you cannot simply move it via the finder.
