ICF service with Multiple HTTP request handlers.

Hi ,
I have created a ICF service with "One HTTP request handler" using SICF transaction.
it's working fine.
After that  i have added anther "HTTP request handler".
i have put  two External Break Points in two HTTP request handler classes.
and i have debugged it.
My problem is:
The request is cached by first HTTP request handler.
at the end it returns the response.
it does not reached the second HTTP request handler.
how can i forward my request to second HTTP request handler.
please help me.

  • Business Service with multiple HTTP Request Methods

    hi all -
    I'm new to OSB and trying to prototype a solution. I have a service provider that exposes a number of HTTP operations (GET/PUT/POST/DELETE). It's a JAX-RS implementation.
    I was looking to create 1 proxy service and 1 business service for that service provider. But, within my business service, I must chose a 'HTTP Request Method' and it allows only 1 type (either GET, PUT, POST, DELETE). So, I have something working, but only for a single type (POST in my prototype). I figure I could create more proxy and business services for the other HTTP Request Methods, but I'm not sure if this is the correct approach (design/architecture).
    My other thought was to create a proxy service to front the service provider, but looking at the documentation, it looks like there should be a business service for each proxy service. If it's possible to use a proxy service without a business service to mediate the service provider, where would I add my URLs for the service provider in the proxy service.
    My apologies on the 2 part architecture/design question. I thought the group would help with getting me started.
    thanks jim

  • How best to make a transaction span multiple HTTP requests?

    Hi, all. What is the best way to implement a transaction that spans multiple
    HTTP requests? Many J2EE applications must solve this problem, but I can't
    any guidelines for an implementation.
    Consider an application that implements a multi-step wizard. Each step
    gathers data from the user; step one gets the user's name, and step two gets
    his dog's name. When the user completes the wizard, the application saves
    the user & dog in two entity beans. Conceptually, the application treats
    this wizard like a single, long-running transaction. The transaction begins
    when the user launches the wizard. Submitting the JSP for step one adds the
    Boy bean to the transaction, and submitting step two adds the Dog bean.
    Finishing the wizard commits the transaction. Exiting the wizard or timing
    out causes the transaction to rollback.
    Although the wizard looks like a transaction, the entire sequence of user
    interactions can't be captured in a single JTA UserTransaction. A
    UserTransaction must be associated with a single thread, but each wizard
    step is handled asynchronously by its own execution thread. It's impossible
    to funnel the conversation through one thread that can demarcate the
    transaction. (This would be a pretty dumb solution for other reasons, but I
    don't want to get lost in details.)
    I think the standard way to solve this problem is to store conversation
    state in a stateful session bean (or the http session) and create / update
    both entity beans in a transactional EJB method after the wizard completes.
    Unfortunately, this solution prevents me from leveraging a lot of great
    transaction management features provided by the app server. For example, I
    can't use optimistic concurrency to make sure that the dog object hasn't
    changed in the database between the start and end of the wizard. Also, I'm
    forced to keep track of changes to the dog object in the conversation state,
    then replicate these changes to an entity bean at the end of the wizard.
    Keeping track of state in a stateful bean is pretty straightforward, but it
    seems like there must be an existing solution that leverages the appserver's
    concurrency and state management features. Am I missing something? Is there
    code, a pattern, or an article that describes the best way to implement a
    multi-step process that looks transactional? I suppose WLI does what I want,
    but that feels like killing a roach with a SCUD missle. Thanks for any
    advice.

    Do you know offhand, so that I don't have to get off my lazy ass and write a

    I assume from your answer that I'm on my own for implementing stuff like and
    transaction inheritance and tracking object modifications? Well, we'll give you a bit of help on the object modifications. The
    usual pattern is when you're pushing the JavaBean back to the CMP you
    call all the setXXX methods on the CMP bean. Our CMP container will
    check if the value you are setting is the same as read from the db. If
    so, it will not update that column.

    If so, no big
    deal. I was just hoping somebody would say, "Oh, you want the Jakarta

    I'd recommend that you include a separate version or timestamp column in
    your db schema.
    Then do something like this:
    Client Server
    1) First HTTP Request
    2) Read current Dog and Boy Entity Beans
    (if any) and copy their values into a JavaBean.
    You want to include the version
    column(s) in the JavaBean(s) along with the data values.
    You probably also want to store the JavaBeans in
    your HTTP Session.
    3) Client proceeds through wizard interacting with JavaBeans
    4) Finish with Wizard, copy JavaBean values (including
    version columns) to CMP 2.0 Entity Beans.
    The version column will give you the optimistic concurrency protection
    that you desire without opening a JTA transaction to span user input.

  • Services with multiple account assignment.

    Hi all,
    How can I find out the POs which are having the multiple account assignment for the service line items from tables ?
    I am looking for services with multiple account assignments
    Regards

    Hi
    Go to SE16 , give table name -EKPO
    Now if you have purchase order nos with you then copy paste the PO numbers here , or select company code or site to restrict your entries. It will control the performance of the data execution.
    Then execute this (remove max no 200 ) . Go to Settings-- Format List -- Choose fields. Deselect all and select fields as per your requirement.If field names are coming in technical names you can change this via settings--User parameter and select -Field Label.
    You can extract this report to excel as well. Same PO number with all account assignment category.
    Please note if you have high volume of data then extract all the POs under service orders first from EKKO table and copy all the service PO numbers availbvale and paste in table EKPO, it will increase performance as well.

  • Web service with multiple out parameters

    Hi Developers,
    I have been playing around with som web services in the developer studio.
    I can create a webservice from a normal ejb.
    But i can only get one out parameter, which is the return parameter of the ejb.
    I tried to make an object to use as return parameter, but then i couldn't use the method for the web service.
    Can anyone tell me how to make a web service with multiple out parameters?
    Br Rasmus

    Hi Developers,
    I have the same question, is it possible to have multiple outgoing parameters?
    When not, does SAP Netweaver knows a IN-OUT parameter? Because I found on the internet that it is possible to have a IN-OUT parameter. But that was with the BEA Weblogic 8.x.
    When not, is then the only solution to return a object? With in this object all the parameters you want.
    Or otherwise is there a other workaround?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Dynamic routing for a Business Service with multiple operations

    I have two business services with multiple operations. Business service A (bsA) has operations OpA1 and OpA2. Business service B (bsB) has operations OpB1 and OpB2.
    Depending on incoming Proxy message and operation, I have to do one of the following
    1. If someValue = A and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opA1 of bsA
    2. If someValue = B and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opB1 of bsB
    3. If someValue = C and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opA1 of bsA AND* operation opB1 of bsB and return aggregate data of both invocations
    1. If someValue = A and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opA2 of bsA
    2. If someValue = B and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opB2 of bsB
    3. If someValue = C and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opA2 of bsA AND* operation opB2 of bsB and return aggregate data of both invocations
    Using a dynamic route node or dynamic routing options, I am able to achieve cases 1, 2, 4, and 5.
    But for cases 3 & 6, I can not use a route node. When I use a Service call out instead, then I am forced to create a Operational branch but that does not seem like the best design since for every new operation added to the business services, I have to add a new branch to the Operational branch and redo all the functionality for that branch.
    Basically, I am looking to achieve the functionality of the Route node ( no need to specify the operation ).
    Any thoughts/ideas on what the best design would be?
    thanks

    For cases 3 & 6, why don't you route to another proxy service where you can simple do two service callouts, merge output data somehow and return them to the first proxy?
    If you look for "special route feature", that could possibly call two services for a single message, I'm afraid you won't succeed.

  • Safe to retry Flex Web Service calls on HTTP request failures?

    I'm using Flex's web services layer to make SOAP calls to a back-end server. Once in a while, those calls fail with a generic RPC fault that looks like this:
    faultString="HTTP request error"
    faultCode="Server.Error.Request"
    faultDetail="Error #2032: Stream Error..."
    When this happens, is it safe to assume that the server didn't get the message and retry an otherwise non-idempotent request?

    Anyone have any ideas?

I want merged results.

    hello ,
    "CurrentPrice" is "lastTradedFloat" sorry for the ambiguity.
    and u got my problem but there is an issue ..
    all the results are set using "sqlResult" except the "lastTradedFloat" which is set in "ydataResult".
    but i confused with HTTP ResultEvent Execution.
    first "sqlResult" method is called arrayCollection is populated. then result is displayed on screen.( lastTraded value is null then)
    then "ydataResult" executes again manipulating data in arraycollection.
    what i want is data in "sqlResult" and "ydataResult" to be set sequentially then callin my display page . such that display is correct.

  • Having trouble with creation of a cloud service with multiple virtual machines using java sdk.

    I am creating a cloud service on azure with 2 virtual machines using java sdk API. Service created successfully.

    Head : 191.238.144.47:2400
    Head : 191.238.144.47:22
    Node0 : 191.238.144.47:43211
    For Head instance port 2400 is for HTTPS and port 22 is for SSH and for Node0 instance port 43211 is for SSH.
    But I am having problem with doing a ssh on Head instance. Sometimes it works sometimes doesn't. Same problem with HTTPS also.
    I have some application running over there but when i try to access it thru browser sometimes it works but most of the time doesn't. When I restart the instances from azure portal, its works after
    that(not always but most of the time).
    Now I am confused what is going on there. I am creating cloud service and virtual machines using java sdk and setting input endpoints also. After creation of all instances i restart every instance programmatically .
    I am not sure whether restart is required or not. It must be something to do with input endpoints only but not able to get the right thing i guess. When i do the same thing thru azure portal(creation of cloud service with virtual machines and setting up input

  • Problems by getting info out of XML file with a HTTP request

    Hi,
    I have a litte question. I'm working on an application that works together with google maps. In my java code, I get general information about address out of one database table, and I want to add some geographic information like coordinates that I want to retrieve from Google Maps through HTTP:
    Right now my code is like:
    while (resultSet.next())
                             title = resultSet.getString("title").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             author = resultSet.getString("author").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             location = resultSet.getString("location").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             straatnaam = resultSet.getString("straatnaam").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             nummer = resultSet.getString("nummer");
                             landcode = resultSet.getString("landcode").replaceAll("'","''").toUpperCase();
                             address = straatnaam + " " + nummer + " , " + location + " " + landcode;
                             url = "http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=" + address + "&output=xml&key=+key+";
                             String query = "INSERT INTO data2 VALUES ('" + i + "','" + title + "','" + author + "','" + resultSet.getString("date1") + "','" + resultSet.getString("date2") + "','" + location + "','" + resultSet.getString("postcode") + "','" + straatnaam + "','" + resultSet.getString("nummer") + "','" + landcode + "','+something like url.getCoordX+','something like url.getCoordY')";
                             success = sql2.executeUpdate(query);
                             i++;
    Now I don't know how I can handle that. Is it possible to do an HTTP request in Java without using Java Script of servlets? I just want to get the X and Y coordinates out of the XML file.
    The XML file will be something like:
    <kml xmlns="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0">
    <Response>
    <name>1600 amphitheatre mountain view ca</name>

    Hi, sorry for being not so clear. My question was actually if it is possible to do a HTTP request in Java without using servlets or being in Java Script. Actually my question was more specific for Google maps, because it didn't seem to work. It was my mistake, and already solved, to forget to make the webservice-call "URL-encoded". Because of that, I always received a HTTP 400 error, and that's why I thought it wouldn't be possible.
    But now I have another, perhaps for you guys stupid question. The result I get from the webservice URL is of the form:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <kml xmlns="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0">
    <Response>
         <name>nieuwelaan 38, Hamme</name>
         <Status>
              <code>200</code>
              <request>geocode</request>
         </Status>

             </Point>
         </Placemark>
    </Response>
    </kml> Now I want to get the value of the coordinates field.
    This is my code:
    address = URLEncoder.encode(address, "UTF-8");
    urlString = "http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=" + address + "&output=xml&key=ABQIAAAA9fEXNK-q6vKpPU0JCmPPkxQjbVBpjtblJJYkDfbMo0e51afwehRmujfvBtJqx1Qehg6e6QgCRY8poA";
    url = new URL(urlString);
    XPath xPath = XPathFactory.newInstance().newXPath();
    Document domDoc = processData(url);
    path = "/kml/Response/Placemark/Point/coordinates";
    coord = xPath.evaluate(path, domDoc);
    System.out.println("coord : " + coord);Now, in the last line, by writing out the value of coord to my screen, I get the value "1", instead of "4.126295,51.097724,0" I would expect, anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?
    greetings

  • BPM: IDoc to multiple HTTP-Requests

    Hello!
    I'm currently working on a scenario which is described as followed:
    My XI-System is receiving an IDoc from an SAP R/3-System.
    This IDoc contains a list of numbers together with the respective name of the customer an our internal customer number.
    Structure:
    IDoc
    |
    area01
       |
       |-NUMBER01
       |
       area02
         |
         |-NUMBER02
         |-CUSTNAME
         |-CUSTNUMBER
    This IDoc has to be split up in HTTP-Request to a server in the WWW. Each HTTP-Request consists of an URL together with two specific parameters (eg: http://www.xyz.com?param1=P1&param2=P2, where param1 is NUMBER01 from the IDoc and param2 is NUMBER02)
    I have two different problems:
    First one is that my BPM is showing errors with the transformation step (IDoc to single HTTP-Requests). It shows the "Expression must return the interface type xxxx"-error. I have mapped the incomming-IDoc into a abstract interface IDoc, as described in other topics.
    What is to be done, to convert the incooming IDoc into several HTTP-Requests? How can i solve this issue?
    Second one is the HTTP-Request itself.
    I've read the hints about the adapter specific settings and tried the HTTP-Request in a little "extra"-scenario. But it didn't work very well...I other words: It did nothing. How to map the two parameters to my specific HTTP-parameters?
    If I have to describe something more detailed, please let me now. I appreciate any suggestions!
    Many many thanks in advance,
    Roman Scholz

    Hi Roman,
    >"Expression must return the interface type xxxx"-error.
    The target of your interface mapping has to be the abstr interface used for BP container.
    >What is to be done, to convert the incooming IDoc into several HTTP-Requests?

  • Web services with multiple elements in the results

    We are using ASP.Net and LiveCycle Forms with LiveCycle Designer 7.0. LiveCycle forms is running on JBOSS (turnkey installation). Our problem is that if the web service returns multiple results e.g.
          £12.99
          Widget
          £0.99
          Grommett
    The form does not grow to accommodate the extra results. Has anyone had any experience of this issue. Adobe say it can be done but so far we have had no luck.

  • Calling web service with SSL (HTTPS) hangs client stub

    If anyone can help it would make my day! I've spent way too much time on this!!!
    I'm running:
    - Web service is running on Linux RedHat with Oracle9iAS 9.0.3
    - Client is running from Windows XP under Jdeveloper
    I've successfully installed and run the web security demo "ws_security" at http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/tech/java/web_services/wssecurity/ws_security.jar.
    This demo goes through installing the web service, certificates, etc... and the demo runs fine. I'm also able to connect to the web service from a browser using https://server1:4443/CreditCardValidator/CreditCardValidator. I can download the proxy, look at the WSDL, etc...
    Now I've written my own very simple stateless java class web service, deployed it to 9iAS , and then downloaded the proxy stub jar. Using the proxy stub I can call my web service and everything works fine.
    Then I configure the web service to use HTTPS by making the following changes to the proxy stub (per the ws_security demo).
    1) Copy the following 5 lines to the proxy stub
    System.setProperty("ssl.SocketFactory.provider","oracle.security.ssl.OracleSSLSocketFactoryImpl");
    System.setProperty("ssl.ServerSocketFactory.provider","oracle.security.ssl.OracleSSLServerSocketFactoryImpl");
    System.setProperty("java.protocol.handler.pkgs","HTTPClient");
    System.setProperty("oracle.wallet.location","C:\\Data\\Oracle\\WALLETS\\ws_security\\wallet.txt");
    System.setProperty("oracle.wallet.password","thewalletpassword");
    2) modify the "m_soapURL" by changing "http" to "https" and the port number to 4443
    3) add the following 3 jar files to my projects library class list:
    C:\Program Files\jdev9031\jlib\jssl-1_2.jar
    C:\Program Files\jdev9031\jdk\jre\lib\ext\jcert.jar
    C:\Program Files\jdev9031\lib\jsse.jar;C:\Program Files\jdev9031\jlib\javax-ssl-1_2.jar
    When I run the proxy stub it just hangs. I've traced the hang to the "Response response = call.invoke(new URL(m_soapURL), soapActionURI);" statement in the "makeSOAPCallRPC" method in the proxy stub.
    Again, this works fine if I simply change the "m_soapURL" to use "http" instead of "https". It looks like it's hanging on the client side and the call is never making it to the server.
    Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

    Could you explain it a little more, please.
    Since my first message, I used the wallet manager to add the certificate the server where the web service is at, uses.
    What else do I need to make it work??
    Thanks in advance again.
