ICloud deleted my contacts, notes and some important songs from Garageband... Last time, I waited a few days and they came back. But I'd like to solve this problem immediately this time.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

This is a known issue. It really comes down to two key factors - what type of DVD are you burning to + what type of DVD player you have.

Plug-ins not available when importing song from Garageband

Can anyone help?
Whilst on the move recently I found myself composing a piece using Garageband. However when I got back to the studio and attempted to open the song using Logic Pro 7.0.1 I get:
Core Audio: Plug-in "BassAmpSi" not available! then
Core Audio: Plug-in "Hybrid Bas" not available!
As these must be Garageband instruments I don't understand why they're "not available" or what to do to make them available.
Any ideas?

Yeah! Had a bad experience with Tiger! My fault!
I Believed all the hype that I just had to update to Tiger as soon as it came out. So a multiple licence later and a day or so installing it all the computers in the studio I then find out that Pro-Tools wasn't compatible and had to back everything up and reformat my HD and re-install 10.3.9 which took about a year. I know it all works now (in theory) but with so much work on the go I'm shying off chancing it.

How old was this backup? It sounds like it was at least several weeks old.
You can look directly in the TM backup for the music.
1. Connect to the external HDD the backup is kept on.
2. Open a Finder window and select the backup drive in the left hand panel. Double click into the folders until you see a list of folders with dates.
These are the incremental backups. You can start at the top or the bottom of the list but I suggest you double Latest/<HDD Name>/Users/<Account Name>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music. From this location you can start looking for the "missing" music. When/if you find it you can simply drag-n-drop to ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music on the internal HDD.
If the music is actually not in the backups (for whatever reason) then you've got a problem.
You can download the uploaded files from the cloud by deleting the affected tracks from the iTunes library (but not the cloud!), highlighting multiple tracks at once, right-clicking and choosing "download."

My iPhone 5s has been deleting my calendar. First time, just the calendar, then next time the calendar and contacts, then yesterday, calendar, contacts, notes and reminders. The phone is only 6 months old or so and is on iOS 7.1.2 (although I need to update it- but have to do some storage management first...)
I have looked at my calendar in my icloud account and it is a week or so out of date, even though it supposedly backed up from my phone on Friday. I am becoming very frustrated by this. Am I doing something wrong? Advice would be much appreciated. In the past I have deleted my icloud account from my phone and then re-signed in, as well as sharing my calendar with myself to restore it, and it works eventually.

I had to change a contaxts mobile number so deleted the contact and replaced with new number. Somehow when I try to send a text it is the old number showing. Why is it stil showing and how can I remove. This is the same with some of the itunes which have copied over but again I cant remove. When I sysnc to computer it tells me that this is a new computer, which it is and it wants to delete everythign. I dont want that can anyone help with these few problems.

Problems with some imported songs from my cd's

I just purchased a Nano and was importing some of my cd's into iTunes. While listening to them on iTunes, I've noticed that some have a number, 789:57..., next to the song, where the length of the song should be. Those that have that number do not play in iTunes or on my Nano. Anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

The transfer of content from sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve music files and playlists from your iPod. I use Senuti but have a look at the web pages and documentation for the others too, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well. Plug your device into the original charger & block in a wall outlet and leave it alone for a couple of hours. Then, while it is still plugged in, restart it by holding down the home button and the power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple, then let go.

It's been a while! It's only pulling info up from 2010

Pages won't display only in Firefox, even in safe mode (I can see requests and replies coming back but it seems like the page rendering cancels).

This doesn't seem to be related to any particular site. When I try to access a web server running locally on my machine, I can see that the request is sent and the server responds as well. But the page will not render.
What I'm trying to do:
1. Open firefox, navigate somewhere (works)
2. Browse around
3. Seemingly at random, when clicking a link, it will stay in the state a:active and the new address will be displayed in the address bar, but page content will not be rendered (link still active, as I was holding the mouse button on it)

happens in safe mode, with or without addons and doesn't seem to be affected by the theme either.

Anything unusual if you check the Net log or the Network tab in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer;Ctrl+Shift+K)?

I suggest you immediately make a backup of your data. You don't know if or when the computer will show some symptoms from the drop. You may want to, for piece of mind, take the computer to an authorised service center for assessment. No one here can assess any internal damage you may have done.
