Icons in DagaGrid Fields

I'd like to know how can I put an icon instead of text in a
DataGrid field. I saw it done in
this
application. The first column of every row can be marked with a
heart icon.
Here
is a screenshot. I'd highly appreciate any help! Thanks!

To do this kind of thing, you use a custom item renderer:
<mx:DataGridColumn itemRenderer="classname" />

Hi
You need to use programs provided by SAP to handle dynamic behaviour.
The idea is to store your BDC data into a file. (If you are already reading
from a file, you still may have to write to a file suitable for the
program).
The SAP standad program can be called using a SUBMIT.
Here are two programs that you can try :
For creation of Customers : RFBIDE00
For creation of Vendors : RFBIKR00.

here a better explanation for my request:
First step: I used the
http://www.html-kit.com/favicon/
to change the
IE-icon to a icon stored in my "Source (Image)".
Second step: I don't like it and now I would like to change
it into another
icon, created the same way. But always remains the first
choosen icon.
My reflections: I changed the icon in this way: <link
rel="shortcut icon"
href="favicon.ico" type="image/vnd.microsoft.icon">. Now
there is no further
"vnd.microsoft.icon" in my URL field, that I could replace,
only the new
one. And cause of that is my question, could I modify the
line - for
instance - in this way: <link rel="shortcut icon"

type="image/vnd.favicon.icon">. (I tried it already but I
failed).

F4 help icon on DATS field

Hello Experts!!!
I have a field "date" on my screen which was created using Screen Painter. Its an I/O field having the format DATS. When I call this screen and press F4 on the date field, the calendar appears as a pop-up. My problem is the F4 icon doesn't appear at the end of this Date field. What needs to be done for the F4 icon to appear?Thanks in advance!!

Hi,
Try using F4_DATE function module for this field.It displays a calendar in a popup window and allows user to choose a date, or it can be displayed read only.

Using Icon for status field.

Help with selecting complete words in text field. Add Icons to Text Field

Hi,
     I am creating GUI for a Email program. The user can send emails, send files as attachment.
     When the user selects his files to attach I am displaying them as a string in a TextField along with there size
     The user can attach files with the help of FileChooser dialog invoked on click of a JButton
     e.g. file1.txt(5K), file2.txt(10K)
     Now whenever user wants to delete one of the files I want him to delete the entire file name with its size.
     So that I get the correct string of file names to send to the smtp server.
     Any one got clues how I can restrict the user to delete the complete name of the file.
     I think if I could make the user to select entire names, and restrict him from moving in the textfield character by character it would be possible. But not sure how to exactly achieve that
     Also I would like to display the Icon along with the file names in the TextField any ideas how it can be done.
     I get the Icon from the File dialog but don't know how to show it up in the TextField

The safest way to handle this is using a JList. But it is possible to do this with the JTextArea. For selecting the entire file, put an action listener on the JTextArea. If someone clicks ona word, it will highlight, by using setSelectionStart(int) and setSelectionEnd(int) found in JTextComponent. Use 0, the length, and the index of the commas for the points to start and end selection. As far as the images, I know it can be done (smileys in chat messages for example) but I've never seen the code to do it. It may just override the paint method and paint in an ImageIcon at the specified location.

ICON with field contents in case of ALV GRID

please have a look at the program. the output of the program display ICONS with the field contents.

Read the documentation of FM ICON_CREATE, the purpose of the Function module is entirely different from what you are using it for.
To print Icons in ALV (Using FMs ) all you need to do is to send the Icon name in the field.
Also parameters TEXT and INFO of FM ICON_CREATE seem to be flags, that are appended to the icon name so that when you set it on the screen the appropriate info or Text is shown.

u first place some dictionary input/output fields in your screen and
below that u place ur custom control,
so what ever input u are giving in those fields , u seelct data accordingly,
for example.
in screen there is one icon 'dictionary/program fields, click that and give some table , suppose u want to extract data from kna1 table using kunnr, select kunnr and press enter, then along withn cursor u get one frame, take that on to screen and place it ,
now in the program write
tables: kna1.
select * from kna1 into it_kna1 where kunnr = kna1-kunnr.
now u get the data into it_kna1.
it will work , try this.

How to populate a field in an Infopath form based on the people picker input - only OOTB approach

I have 3 lists : Resource , Project, Contract
In "Contract" list i have created a form with MS Infopath 2010. This form is used to collect data of a new resource joining a project . This form also takes the information about the resource's costs.
Scenario :
Project informations are already present in the "Project" list.
Any new resource who will be joining a project will be added in the "Resource" list at first . This list has its own form to do so. While adding this resource the form asks for the project which should be assigned. This is dealt with.
"Contract" list : In this lists form their is a people picker field where the resource email id(already inserted in "Resource" list earlier) will be typed by me. There is a field which will capture the project name.
Issue in "Contract" list:
When i type the resource email id and click on the people picker icon , the project field in the form should get auto populated with the corresponding project of the existing resource so that i donot have to type the project name again. This project info
should be fetched from "Resource" list only.
Please let me know how i can achieve this by OOTB approach .

Dynamic value help for a table field to fill two fields, how to?

In SRM 7 I defined a dynamic value help for a single field (ZZ_PROLE_R3) of my header custom table.
That's the code from WDDOMODIFYVIEW in the webdynpro /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_CT, view V_DODC_CT:

The above solution works; now I'd like to enhance it. The custom table THCUS contains also a field called ZZ_PROLE_R3_DESC, which represents the description of ZZ_PROLE_R3. It is, exactly, the TEXT field in tab_value.
So I'd like to do as follows:
- the user clicks on the search help for ZZ_PROLE_R3 field of the table;
- the above described value help appears;
- after the selection, both ZZ_PROLE_R3 and ZZ_PROLE_R3_DESC are filled with the selected couple value - text chosen from the value help.
Could anyone help me achieving such a behaviour?
Again, a little request... when I open the above value help dialog box, the window itself has a label "Floorplan Manager application for OIF.." that obviously I'd like to redefine (e.g. "Role selection value help"). Is there any way to do that?

lv_guid is the GUID of the document's header; I need to pass it to the method that populates my value help table because the values in it are derived from some fields on the document. (the situation actually is more complex; there's an RFC call on the backend for which the document is intended for to retrieve the data that populate the value help...).
I'm quite unexperienced on webdynpro and terminology; if dropdown menus are fixed selection option that appears on a field, I guess this is not my case. I did a pair of screenshot to provide an idea of what the solution by now is, and what "I would like to have":

Thanks for the code suggestion, I'll apply that. For what concerns the context node THCUS... It is, by standard, a node which I can't explictly find in the context for the view V_DODC_CT. The problem is that ZZ_PROLE_R3 and the corresponding description field ZZ_PROLE_R3_DESC of the table must be filled with data retrieved dynamically @ runtime from the backend. So I guess I can't populate a val help referring to a dictionary table/field; I'd rather do as follows:
- retrieve what's the target backend for the document (to do so, I have to process the document .. that's why the header guid passed to my method);
- RFC call to a custom method that extracts possible values for the specific backend;
- bind the ammissible values to the value help.

Error in Moving values to field symbols. - CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER

Hi Friends,
I have asigned the component 'ICON' to the field symbol . While i am adding the value to the field symbol it is going for Dump.
Erro Message :
Unable to interpret "@08\QGreen Light; Go; Okay@ " as a number.
Error analysis
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER', was not
     caught and
    therefore caused a runtime error.
    The reason for the exception is:
    The program attempted to interpret the value "@08\QGreen Light; Go; Okay@ " as
     a number, but
    since the value contravenes the rules for correct number formats,
    this was not possible.
Code :
ASSIGN COMPONENT 'ICON' OF STRUCTURE <line> TO <fs_icon>.
add wa_result-icon to <fs_icon>.

What do you mean by adding the value?
Do you want to move the value of wa_result-icon to the field-symbols <fs_icon>.
use move statement or use '=' operator.
ADD will try to do an addition.
You cannot add character fields. It will surely give a dump.
Do as follows:-
Move wa_result-icon to <fs_icon>.

My requirement is to populate the Profit center field of Vendor line item.
For this, I want to write a substitution where based on the Business Area of Vendor line item, the system should populate the Profit center while saving.
Is it possible thru Validation & Substitutions...
Plz guide me in writing this

Tcode: GGB1
An example shows how to make a G/L account available for line item substitution.
GGB1
Click FA Doc Header
Click Create Substitution icon
Enter the Text
Click Create Step icon
Click the field u want Say - BKPF- BKTXT
Choose the option Say :Constant value
Give description of ur step
Click Prerequisite
Double Click Structure BKPF
Double Click BKPF-AWKEY
Click Constant button
Enter the Text u want to make it appler in the Reference key
Click Substitution and enter the constant value u want
Go to Tcode: GGB4
Click Substituted Fields
Give ur table and field (Here - BKPF- BKTXT)
Do it in a similar way..if u cannot proceed, let me know the exact field values..and i can take screenshots and send u across
