IDCS2 plugin for spreadsheet type math in tables?

I have several tables to place in an InDesign document. Several of the numbers may change, and I need the document to stay up-to-date as easily as possible. The best way would be to have spreadsheet calculation ability within InDesign so I could enter numbers and simple formulas and also format the cells.
Do any plugins for CS2 exist that do this?

Hi,
Despite the lack of knowledge,
Despite the unanswered (non interesting for specialists ?) question,
Because I am really concerned and seriously interested by an integrated solution as an end user,
And Because the specialists dedicated to the server are overloaded,
I have to structure my demand enough to highly class it through the development priorisation.
I had to know if, and in this case, how the Oracle BI spreadsheet Add-in can work with the server used in "my" Organization.
So, One week later, I found something by myself.
I had to search, read a lot. loose lot of time. I could discover other tools and applications, not only servers, some are opensource and in the particular cases of Talend and Palo, that I explored too, I found lots of answers very quickly.
I still have to read this document that any specialist could have shown to me :
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14117_01/olap.101/b10333.pdf
5 lines of abstract (guidlines) would have given me an idea.
Better chance next time

  • ODSI support for return type "PL/SQL TABLE"?

    Hello!
    We are trying to connect our ODSI to an Oracle function with return type "PL/SQL TABLE". The ODSI "wizard" (used to create the physical data service) seems to understand the interface during creation, but when executed it fails. The ODSI server complains about wrong type (PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type) when we execute it from the "test tab".
    The function's metadata is looks like this:
    <params xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xdt="http://www.w3.org/2004/07/xpath-datatypes" xmlns:pn1="ld:physical/rekondis/CALC_DEBITING" >
    <param name="RETURN_VALUE" kind="return" xqueryType="pn1:RETURN_VALUE_ROW" nativeTypeCode="1111" nativeType="PL/SQL TABLE"/>
    <param name="PIN_CASE_ID" kind="in" xqueryType="xs:decimal" nativeTypeCode="3" nativeType="NUMBER"/>
    <param name="PIN_ACTION_CODE" kind="in" xqueryType="xs:decimal" nativeTypeCode="3" nativeType="NUMBER"/>
    <param name="PI_AD_NAME" kind="in" xqueryType="xs:string" nativeTypeCode="12" nativeType="VARCHAR2"/>
    </params>
    Any ideas how we can make this work!? Or is this not even supported in ODSI 10.3?
    Thanks!

  • Standard-Plugin for file-type

    Hello,
    how can I define, that txt-files are opend with an certain pluginI I have several plugins for txt-files, but there's one I use mostly and so I want to define this plugin to be used when I drop files via drag&drop in the dataportal.
    thanks
    Gabriel

    Hi Gabriel,
    If you're dragging and dropping from a yellow Search Area folder, then you can configure the order that DataPlugins are tried for a TXT file.  Choose the NAVIGATOR menu "Settings >> My DataFinder >> Configure..." to pop up the "Configure My DataFinder" dialog.  Then choose the 3rd "File Extensions" tab and click on the *.txt file extension in the top left part of that dialog.  Finally move the available DataPlugin names up and down with the blue up and down arrow icons in the top right of the dialog.  The DataPlugin name at the top of the list will be tried first.
    If instead you're dragging and dropping from a gray non-Search Area folder, then your options are limited.  You can definitely right-click on the file and choose the context menu "Open with..." and then select the desired DataPlugin to use in the import, but this DataPlugin selection will not "stick", it will just be used to import the data file you right-clicked on.  You might try unregistering all the TXT DataPlugins, then re-registering the one you want to be the default DataPlugin first and re-registering the other DataPlugins afterwards.  I think the first DataPlugin that was registered is the default DataPlugin for that file extension.

  • Entry for condition type missing in table PRCC_COND_CT

    Hi guys,
    I got this error message in my BDoc.
    It ask me to
    "Fill the table PRCC_COND_CT bu using a Customizing download, and then restart the rolled back block in the inbound queue."
    I am not too sure what is a customizing download.
    Can you guys help me out?
    Cheers
    Lawrence

    Hi,
    Firstly please apply the note 1003793 and then run the customizing load again and check for errors.
    then if you get any errors like
    "It is not possible to change client-independent Customizing objects Message no. CND_MAP204                                                  "
    Then log into SCC4 transaction and then make the following change
    "changes to repository and cross-client customizing allowed" under Cross-Client Object Changes.

  • How to use record type for inserting data into a table

    I've read through the web the following tip:
    "When working with a large number of columns, using variables of type RECORD is a better approach. With this approach, you do not have to list anything in the INSERT statement, because you are inserting a variable into the table that is defined as a row from the same table."
    I usually define a variable as
    r_mytable     mytable%ROWTYPE;
    and inside my procedure I'll set the fields I need as
    r_mytable.field1 := 1;
    r_mytable.field3 := 7;
    and then I perform the insert as
    insert into mytable
    (field1,
    field3)
    values
    (r_mytable.field1,
    r_mytable.field3);
    According to the tip I've copied above, how can I use the TYPE RECORD of pl/sql for achieving the same result but perhaps in a smarter way?
    Thanks in advance!

  • No entry found in table SMOFQFIND for BDoc type SI_CONTRACT

    Hi Gurus,
    I try to do a request dowload for SI_CONTRACT object.
    When  execute and monitor my request objects the status is OK.
    Then, I check the BDocs Message Trace and I see the following  error
    "No entry found in table SMOFQFIND for BDoc type SI_CONTRACT - Queue name used: CRI_SI_CONTRACT (see note 677800 for further info"
    Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
    Thanks,
    M@le

    Hi Brian,
    There was leading 0 for the contract # in the request detail, however this message is still in the BDoc message trace. The BDoc was posted successfully. I checked the table SMOFQFIND and could not find the entry for BDoc type SI_CONTRACT.
    There are records for SI_CONNOBJ and SI_POD which are all delivered by SAP. I think we just need to maintain SI_CONTRACT in this table to get rid of this message. Just I do not know what exact to maintain for SI_CONTRACT.
    Could you help to check standard SAP environment to see what is the detail for SI_CONTRACT in table SMOFQFIND?

  • Is there table/Report history including timestamp & date for activity type created?

    Hi Guys
    I have an audit request for activity type that should include Date of creation/change and timestamp for them, but I don´t know if there is a table or report
    that I should run.
    Actually in KP26 in section line item shown the dates but by activity type, I expect to run in mass
    I really appreciate if someone have suggestion or idea how is possible to get information with dates and timestamp

    Hi Marco,
    If not in standard, this can be achieved by customized field in the table. This is called Append Structure and you can add Z table.
    Talk to an ABAP person. He can do it.
    I know I have not answered you in a straight way

  • Table for document type Number Range interval

    Hi,
    I want to know the number range interval for document type in the production system but I do not have authorisation for SPRO in the prd system.
    Kindly let me know the table name to check this number range interval for the document type.
    Table T003 stores only the number range and not the interval.
    Thanks
    Suresh

    Hi,
    The table which has document types is T003 but the number ranges are stored in a Structure IRDP. The number ranges are maintained directly in the production system.

  • AQ table for complex type creation

    I have a type containing nested tables, it looks like that:
    create or replace type aq_student_reg_queue_type as object (
    XML_ID varchar2(16),
    trigger_name varchar2(32),
    tm_transaction_id varchar2(30),
    tm_transaction_type varchar2(30),
    person aq_person_tm_type,
    resources aq_community_resource_list);
    aq_community_resource_list is table of aq_community_resource
    aq_community_resource is another type containing table of resources
    When I'm trying to create queue table for such payload I have an error that I have to specify nested table column or attribute. How to do that ? I can't find it somehow.

    The problem is that you need to specify a storage clause for nested tables when you use a nested table inside a database table. When creating a queue, a table is created under the hood, which lacks a storage clause for the nested table. I don't know a way to provide this clause to AQ. A workaround is to use varrays instead. See this example:
    SQL> create or replace type aq_community_tm_type as object(
