IDOC to File --- Error occurred during back-routing Error in communication
Hi All,
I am doing a IDOC to File (File Content Conversion) Scenario in which I have mentioned the field separator and end separator.. When i trigger the IDOC, i am only getting the first field value in the output. I am getting the following error

Every time I try to turn on FileVault I get a message "an error occured during encryption (An error occurred during copying). FileVault won't be turned on for this account".
The file is only 96GB and I have 800GB free spaceI had this issue with my Mac Pro. I needed to turn off Filevault because it was causing performance issues with my Adobe video editing software. I got the same message you did. It took some time, but I finally figured out how to solve the problem!! If you look in the console (Finder/Go/Utilities/Console) and go to the system log, you will be able to pinpoint what happened when the filevault failed to turn off. In my case, it was a few Firefox profile cahe files that were an issue (so I copied the profile folder to another disk, trashed the folder on my system drive, then emptied the trash). Then I tried again, and this time it was because of a few photos that were "locked". I unlocked the offending images and then tried once again and SUCCESS! I then replaced the Firefox profile folder to it's original location and everything is working like a charm. But most definately if people have "locked" folders or photos, Filevault will not be able to copy them and delete the encrypted version. I wish I had found a thread like this when I was going through my Filevault nightmare! Would have saved me a lot of trouble, worry and aggravation.
If you really need to keep files encrypted or protected, simply create an encrypted disk image and keep only the files you want to protect in that image. It's extremely easy to do if you have Carbon Copy Cloner (An amazing and highly recommended FREE system backup and hard drive cloning app. It will create a backup of whatever files or folders you chose and create a 128bit or 256bit password protected encrypted disk image that you can very easily access at any time.

"iTunes could not back up the iPhone "iPhone" because an error occured.
I recently brought my old Mac into the Apple store to have everything transfered over to my new Mac. When I plug my iPhone into my new computer I get this message. I try to back it up and it will not allow me. Could this have something to do with my recent transfer or does the problem relate to my iPhone itself? I tried restarting my computer and my iphone, neither worked to solve the problem. The last back up was 10 days ago before I got everything transfered. Help!I tried deleting old back ups in the device tabs and no luck. Then i tried going into "MobileSync" and deleting those back ups thinking they may have been comprimised as well, and again no luck. The weird thing is that my other iPhone (From Canada) synced and backed up last night, but this one (from USA) will not. Im thinking my only option now is to restore this phone back to factory setting and then back it up using the back up from 10 days ago. I may lose a couple new contacts, but I can re-add them. Thoughts?? Any other suggestions?

Start by locating the <LibraryManager> group, and look for the setting Library=. You may have multiple settings. Locate the setting that you use in your command line to execute LBYSYNC. Next, look for the group <Library:X>, where X is the value from Library= (it's the Library Name). In that group, locate the DBTable= setting. Now look for <DBTable:X> where X is the value for the DBTable= setting, then locate the DBHandler= value. Finally, look up <DBHandler:X> for that value, and add Debug=Yes.

I am have written a program with labview to make transient c-v measurement using a stanford research SR830 lockin amplifier. The program seems to be runing fine, but sometimes it is givvibg an error:

but if I press ok, the program again starts running. What might be the poblem? BTW I googled a bit and I see that in the labview topic "RS-232 Framing Error with HP 34401A Mulitmeter" by pkennedy32 this is what is said about framing error:
""Framing Error" in an RS-232 context means a very specific thing - when the receiver was expecting a stop bit, the line was not in SPACE condition. This can be the result of:
1... Baud rate mismatch (although other problems would likely crop up first).
2... Data Length problem, If I send 8 data bits and you expect 7, the stop bit is in the wrong place.
3... Parity setting mismatch - If I send 7 data bits + parity and you expect 7 data bits and no parity, the stop bit is in the wrong place.
4... Mismatch in # Stop bits - If I send you 7 Data bits + parity + one stop bit, and you expect 7 data bits + parity + TWO stop bits, the second one might not be correct, although most devices do not complain about this.
But, I must say that this is the same com port setting that I use to measure c-v hysterysis, but I never gt this error there.
I attach the program herewith for your kind perusal. Please help me resolve this issue.

sr830 initialize1.vi 15 KB@Dennis Knutson you are right I checked the read indicator in backslash mode, and instead of a \n it is sending \r. So I changed the \n in my write strings to \r. But, if I keep the CLOSE VISA outside my loop instead of inside as you suggested, the termination character appears to come in the middle of the read string instead at the end. And since the read terminates at the \r so it is displaying some junk value before the \r, but if I put the CLOSE VISA outside the loop and play along with the bytes at the read buffer, I see the whole read string with the \r at the end of the string. But, whenever the values are in exponential form (when close to zero) like 6.938839 e-5, I always get a time out error whatever be the timeout that I put at the VISA initialize. And subsequently, if I stop the program and run it again the machine program hangs and I donot get any reading. Then after I close it again and start, sometimes it hangs for some more or starts working. If I put an arbitrarily large byte count at the READ VISA, then I always get the time out before the operation completed error.
@ Ravens Fan I have removed the CSAC VI altogether and taking the CH! And CH” reading separately, instead as one string. So, no more issues with that.
I use the control at the delay so that I can choose how much delay I want to set, and I use the math operation because I am using adding up the delay time to keep track of the time elapsed. Because in the end I have t plot a time vs. CH! And CH” readings.
I am not sure but probably I am making some silly errors. Please help me out.

Posting this problem here and hoping for a solution from the experts in this forum.
When i have restarted the Analysis Services , i see that it has been stopped but never started back. It fails with an error
"The SQL Server Analysis Services (MSSQLSERVER) service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."
When Checked the Event Viewer i see the following error -
The service cannot be started: The following system error occurred: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. File system error: Error occurred during the creation of directory: '\\?\E:\OLAP\MSSOLAPFactory\OlapData;M:\Test
Backup'.
I remember changing the BackupDir value of Analysis Services few days back, and i think it could have impacted. Can you please help me how can i change back the BackupDir value and have the server back?

SGIs this still an issue? If so, I would find msmdsrv.ini and make sure you don't have two folders listed in the BackupDir (or DataDir or TempDir). You'll have to runas Administrator to edit the msmdsrv.ini file and save changes. Once you fix that, it should
succeed.

The MDL file is exported from 10.2, we were trying to imported it into 11.2 using OMBIMPORT, got following error message.

Solution:
- Upgrade version DWH from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2
- Install separate client on the server DWH and run import script from client directory -
When I try to activate my FaceTime, I get an error msg that says, "An error occurred during activation. Try again." I have a good password (I used it to get here...); I'm on WiFi; I've toggled FT off and back on again but I cannot get past the error message and get activated. What's wrong? Thanks. Its possible that the server can be down now. Have you ever used it before? If you want, try resseting the phone by just holding the sleep/wake key and the home button together for 10 seconds. Then wait 5 seconds when it turns off and press the sleep/wake button to turn it back on. Then try it again. Let me know what the results are.

Hello. I am having troubles on locating the log file for this particular error:

See the details for the exception ID in the log file
I searched all folders on my drive, using the exception id as keyword to search files that contains part of the id (0004_19351950), but to no avail. I wanted to see the log for me to identify the problem. Any ideas where I can look for it? or, better yet, what can be a solution to this runtime error?

Go to Java Developer role -> expand Portal Tools folder -> click on Portal Logviewer. Put the exception id in the text-box corresponding to search -> click on search all files. Open the file that is displayed in the search result and make a search with the id again to refer to the exact line.
N.B: if you don't have Java developer role, using user admin, assign that role to you first

Can't activate imessage on my daughters ipod touch 5th gen. Comes back with "An error occured during activation". It was working until I updated to latest IOS version 7.1.2. Managed to update Facetime ok but can't do anything with iMessage. Can anyone help?
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

iMessage worked fine on my Macbook until about two weeks ago. I can use iMessage for gMail, but my iCloud account is inactive and I get the error message "An error occurred during activation. Try again." when I try to log in with any apple ID. It works fine currently on my iMac and my iOS devices.
I have tried many suggestions, including checking the serial number, various time & date configurations, trying an alternate Apple ID, restarting, signing in and out of iCloud, and inspecting the keychain.This could be a complicated problem to solve, as there are many possible causes for it. Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
Before proceeding, test on another network, if possible. That could be a public Wi-Fi hotspot, if your computer is portable, or a cellular network if you have a mobile device that can share its Internet connection. If you find that iMessage works on the other network, the problem is in your network or at your ISP, not in your computer.
Step 1
Check the status of the service. If the service is down, wait tor it to come back up. There may be a localized outage, even if the status indicator is green.
Step 2
Sign out of iMessage on all your Apple devices. Log out and log back in. Try again to sign in.
Step 3
Restart your router and your broadband device, if they're separate. You may have to skip this step if you don't control those devices.
Step 4
From the menu bar, select

Below the "OS X" legend in the window that opens, the OS version appears. Click the version line twice to display the serial number. If the number is missing or invalid according to this web form, take the machine to an Apple Store or other authorized service center to have the problem corrected.

From the menu bar, select

If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. Block all sites from storing information on this computer
Close the preference pane.

Make sure you know the ID and password you use with iMessage. Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to find and delete all items with "iMessage" or "com.apple.idms" in the name. Log out and log back in.
Step 9
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
If iMessage worked in the guest account, stop here and post your results.
Step 10
Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you start up, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. After testing, restart as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and test again.
If iMessage worked in safe mode, but still doesn't work when you restart in "normal" mode, stop here and post your results.

Reset the NVRAM.

Reinstall OS X.
Step 13
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support. -
Problem: An error occured during the uploading process.
Hello! I've searched around but I am having difficulty finding a solution to this problem.
I am trying to upload videos through Adobe Premiere Elements 9 to YouTube, using the preset options in the share tab. This worked previously without issue, but then one day I continually ran into an error stating "Sorry, an error occured during the uploading process. Please try again later." However, it eventually started working. It is now a few weeks later, and I am having the very same issue. I am unable to upload to YouTube or any other service through the Share tab. Even loading the software itself, the opening splash screen is unable to grab my Adobe ID. It never stops "Gathering User Info..."
Steps I have tried:
Going to Edit -> Preferences -> Web Sharing and hitting the refresh button to update settings.
Checked router settings.
Enabled DMZ on router and linked it to this specific computer.
Rebooted PC and router, and tried updating the Web Sharing settings multiple times.
I honestly do not believe it to be a router issue, especially since it is currently in DMZ mode and I have had absolutely no trouble with any other software. This has continued to baffle me though, and finding help is difficult. Searches keep giving me encoding settings for YouTube videos, and few results pertain to this particular issue.
I am aware I could export the video normally and upload through YouTube that way, but on DSL, my upload speed is pretty terrible for a high quality video. The YouTube HD setting has been great for me in the past, as files are small but still look great online. I would really like to get it working again, both for ease and convenience for simple projects.
If anyone has any ideas as to what could be causing a problem, I would be greatly appreciative of any advice. In regards to the project itself, there is no real editing being done at this point, as I am trying to eliminate any possibility of error elsewhere. I opened a new project, added a video clip and went directly to upload it, resulting in the error above.
I don't believe it matters in this situation, but just in case:

Just wanted to add, that I am able to visit both the Photoshop.com website, as well as YouTube through my browser. So I am not being blocked somehow to those particular sites. It only seems to be through the software that I cannot connect to any of the online services to upload videos to.
Additionally, the only virus software running is Microsoft Security Essentials. It has never raised a flag before with this software or caused interference in the past. I do not use Norton or any other service which are known to interfere with programs often.
Just a quick example as well, pinging Photoshop.com through the command prompt shows I am getting through just fine. As you can see in this image though, it cannot seem to ever connect and grab my user information.
