IDoc-To-xml File Dynamic Configuration

Hi all.
a few days ago i posted a thread about file-to-file dynamic configuration.
now i have to do the same but with difference that my inbound document is an IDOC, so message_header information cant be use!
i've seen some blog like
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/2161. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
ussing file convertion, XI save a plain text document, no xml.
What you sugguest to do?
Rgds
RP

hi RAJEEV GUPTA .
you said do this?
DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
//get  Key of Directory File name
DynamicConfigurationKey keyF = DynamicConfigurationKey.create( URLFile, "FileName");
//get  Key of Directory
DynamicConfigurationKey keyD = DynamicConfigurationKey.create( URLFile, "Directory");
//Replace value of Filename
conf.put(keyF,file);
//Replace value of Directory
conf.put(keyD,dir);
the problem in this case is there no Key, because there no message_header.
do you know the sentence to generate a new key for file name and Directory?
Rgds!

  • Regarding receiver determination problem in IDOC-XI-XML file scenario

    Dear All ,
    In IDOC-XI-xml file scenario , I have configured SLD , IR . But in ID , after file adapter , reciever agreement configuration when I am doing receiver determination configuration I am not able to insert mapping program in configuration overview of receiver determination as I am not getting "New Specific" option in mapping .
    Can anybody suggest what could be the reason behind this .
    Thanks in Advance
    Prabhat

    Hi PRabhat,
    In RCVR determination, you need to select the party & service (as appropriate) save the obeject
    then refresh the configuration overview of recr det.
    then you can see the partner/service
    then you can open it & add the necessary objects.
    Regards

  • IDOC to XML file scenario with party

    Hi All,
    I am developing a IDOC to XML file scenario with party in which I have extended the MATMAS idoc and configured the receiver FILE communication channel.
    But its giving me the error *"No receiver could be determined"*  with party. If I run the same scenario without the sender party its working fine.
    And sender is my R/3 system under party P_Party and receiver is my third party system under P_Party.
    Thanks in advance.
    Gaurang

    U can give a try as follows.
    In the Partner Profile of Sender R/3 system,
    Give the Receiver Party P_Party in the PartnerNo. Give the 'Business Partner' as logical System type.
    In XI, Party Definition of P_Party
    Give the following Alternative Identifier
    Agency  -   Sender R/3  Business System
    Scheme -   ALE#GP
    Value    -    P_Party

  • How to create Inbound Idoc from XML file-Need help urgently

    Hi,
    can any one tell how to create inbound Idoc from XML file.
    we have xml file in application server Ex. /usr/INT/SMS/PAYTEXT.xml'  we want to generate inbound idoc from this file.we are successfully able to generate outbound XML file from outbound Idoc by using the XML port. But not able to generate idoc from XML file by using we19 or we16.
    Please let me know the process to trigger inbound Idoc with out using  XI and any other components.
    Thanks in advance
    Dora Reddy

    Hi .. Did either of you get a result on this?
    My question is the same really .. I am testing with WE19 and it seems SAP cannot accept an XML inbound file as standard.
    I see lots of mention of using a Function Module.
    Am I correct in saying therefore that ABAP development is required to create a program to run the FM and process the idoc?
    Or is there something tht can be done with Standard SAP?
    Thanks

  • Automatically process IDoc to XML File port

    Hi everybody,
    I want to send two different IDocs via "XML File" port using change pointers and the distribution modell (one SAP standard, one custom).
    I maintained the distribution model and created outbound parameters in partner profile (WE20). Both are set to "Transfer IDoc Immed.".
    1.
    Now I change some master data and the change pointers are created. I run RBDMIDOC for both message types and both IDocs are created. But unfortunately they stuck at staus "30 - Idoc ready for dispatch" (yellow). I need to run RSEOUT00 to create the XML files.
    Is it possible to avoid a job that runs this report? I want the IDocs to be processed automatically right after creation.
    The really strange thing about this is, that it used to work for the standard IDoc (BOMMAT). But I might have changed some settings to get my custom IDoc work too and now both stuck at status 30?! This is what bothers me most...
    2.
    When the XML files are created (at the moment after running RSEOUT00) the status in WE05 is "03 - Data passed to port OK" (yellow).
    Why is this light still yellow? Everything is fine, the file was created, it should be green. Is there anything I can do?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Oliver

    Hi,
    thanks for your suggestions.
    Unfortunately this did not solve my problems.
    1)
    OUTMOD for both messages was 2 (which should be ok). Changing it to 1 did not have any affect.
    At least BOMMAT works again (both with OUTMOD 1 and 2). But my custom IDoc still does not get processed automatically.
    2)
    Running report RBDMOIND did not change the status of my IDocs. Please keep in mind that it is no tRFC port, but XML File port.
    Best regards,
    Oliver

  • Generate XML file dynamically using java

    Hi,
    I searched on this topic on the net and also in this forum but everything leads to parsing an existing file using JAXP technology. But i need to create an xml file dynamically from the data coming from a different source. I can do it manually by writting the content to a file. But i am sure there is a better way for it. I would be obliged if some one could give me and example java class which produces a simple xml file or direct me to any resource online.
    Thank you in advance.

    Yes you can create the xml file dynamically. Like this,
    BufferedWriter bw = new BufferedWriter(new FileWriter("xyz.xml"));
    bw.write(buffer.toString()); //where buffer is StringBuffer whcih contains the your xml data
    bw.close();
    Remember to close the BufferedWriter, otherwise it will create the file but don't write anything.
    Hope this will help u.

  • Binding XML file Dynamically

    Can I bind a xml file dynamically to a form? say, bind to a different xml file after user select a value from a drop down list in the form?how to do it? Thanks.

    I think it's best to create different XPD files for each language and add an XML tag <language>countryCode</language> to your XML dataset and XSD file. this way you could tell the workbench to use a different xpd file for generating the PDF file.
    Anyway if you want to load an XML file from your local filesystem you should check out this URL: http://www.c-point.com/JavaScript/articles/file_access_with_JavaScript.htm it shows you how to read & write files using javascript.
    The problem you'll be facing is editing the binding and reading + validating the given XML file. Especially validating the XML vs the XSD file used in the designer will probably cause a few errors, yet this is highly recommended in order to make sure you're not modifying your PDF with the wrong (or even malicious) data.
    Security-wise i would not implement it your way but make a different XPD file for each language. In the LiveCycle Workbench you can select the correct XPD file based on the data you provide. Then it's just the user who needs to specify his/her language and your pdf is always build correctly. Yet I do not know if this is applicable to your situation and/or needs.

  • Create IDOC from XML file

    Hi,
    I want to create Scheduling Agreement from idoc using XML file means i am receiving XML file and i want to convert this XML file into IDOC and finally process this IDOC to craete scheduling agreement.
    But i don't have any idea for this.pl. tell me what should i do for this.
    Thanks,
    Rahul

    Hi,
    You are receiving XML file and you want that to converted into the IDOC and inturn to be processed in your system, for this you need to create an XML port and you need to read the file from that port then an IDOC will be created.  Create an XML file port in WE21 transaction and then goto WE16 transaction and you can use that transaction to upload a file as an IDOC into the SAP system.
    Once the IDOC is created rest of the activity is same.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh.

  • XML file or Configuration stack file for Ehp inclusion in Upgradation

    Hi Aashish,
    can you please provide some further information?
    What exactly are you doing in the SAP Solution Manager - Maintenance Optimizer?
    I assume that you are at least on SP 15 which is a prerequisite.
    Currently a common error is a wrong maintained SMSY: Please check SAP note 1022072 for details.

  • Howto transform a Sales Order (idoc) into xml file and download it?

    I need to tranform a Sales order into an xml file such that I could download the file onto my disk. I try to transform an IDOC.
    I do the following from an example and I get an xml document on screen but I do get get any file downloaded:
    DATA: document TYPE REF TO if_ixml_document.
      document = g_ixml->create_document( ).
      DATA: ostream TYPE REF TO if_ixml_ostream.
    ostream = g_stream_factory->create_ostream_uri(
      system_id = 'file://C:\test.xml' ).
      DATA: renderer TYPE REF TO if_ixml_renderer, rc TYPE i.
    renderer = g_ixml->create_renderer( ostream  = ostream
                                          document = document ).
      rc = renderer->render( ).
      document->render( ostream = ostream  recursive = ' ').
    Is there something else I should do? Is there another approach for transforming a sales order to an xml file.
    The R/3 4.6 system is used.
    Thank you
    -eglese-

    Hi Eglese,
    Another option could be to use XML port configured for the IDOC and use the XML files generated be extracted from Web Dynpro using a file download UI element.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sam Mathew

  • Add XML Tag to XML File (Idoc to XML File)

    Hi there.
    Just a question regarding the addition of a tag header in an XML file please?
    Idoc - > XI -> file (XML File)
    We have a need to add something like this below in bold to XML Tag Header in the inbound file:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <?POSTEN SND="SE03220037090" SNDKVAL="1" REC="SE03220669500"
    MSGTYPE="ORDERS"?>
    Any ideas on how this can be managed would be apreciated please?
    Thank you.
    Mick.

    Hi Carlos.
    Thanks for your reply. I like what you are suggesting, however, I have no knowledge of Java and how to implement this Java addition to the mapping interface.
    I would appreciate any hints you may have. The value that I am trying to add to the tag header is exactly as it is below(the value in bold) and it can in fact be fixed, i.e. I am not looking to dynamically determine the values in the additional tag but just add the value as it is below...
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <?POSTEN SND="SE03220037090" SNDKVAL="1" REC="SE03220669500"
    MSGTYPE="ORDERS"?>
    I would appreciate any input from you on that.
    Thanks in advance Carlos.
    Mick.

  • IDOC to xml file

    hi,
    my name is avinash.i m new to xi.i have few qs regarding it.
    1.what is third party?
    2.what are adapters?where are they located?
    3.what is IDOC?
    4.how is IDOC converted to xml file?

    Hi avinash s  ,
    >>1.what is third party?
    third party is middleware or intermediate software which takes data from sender & transfers to a reciever in his understandable format.
    For Example
    Suppose think that there r 3 different people who speak different languages.
    Say User A understands french language,
           User B understands french , german, english language
           User C understands german language
    & User A and C want 2 communicate . Hence their languages r different they can't understand. If they take the help of User B, He undertands the language of User A & converses to User C in german.
    User B is the 3rd Party here.
    This example can be viewed in terms of systems who r having different platforms & they want 2 exchange messages with each other.
    Examples of 3rd party include:
    TIBCO,XI,EDI.....
    >> 2.what are adapters?where are they located?
    Adapters enable communication between the XI integration engine and an application system. This leads to the compatibility between heterogeneous systems.Adapters convert the XI protocol (SOAP with attachments over HTTP) to the protocol spoken by the application system and vice-versa.The key purpose of XI is to integrate heterogeneous systems and adapters are the key enabler to achieving this goal
    Adapter Categories
    Application adapters provided by SAP (IDoc and RFC) and 3rd party vendors (Seeburger, Siebel, Oracle, ...)
    Technical adapters relate to specific protocols
    File systems (FTP / File)
    RDBMS systems (JDBC)
    Messaging systems (JMS)
    Web services (SOAP)
    Mail servers (SMTP)
    SAP Business Connector
    Marketplaces
    Industry standard adapters
    RosettaNet
    CIDX
    The Adapter Engine
    The XI Adapter engine is the home of the majority of the XI adapters. Only the IDoc adapter and the plain HTTP adapter do not reside on the adapter engine. They reside on the Integration Server.
    It is fully integrated in to the XI landscape with tools provided for configuration, logistics and monitoring. It's Adapter Framework is based on the JCA.
    SAP XI requires an adapter framework to communicate outside of the SAP system. These adapters translate code from external applications to an XML message for NetWeaver processes using the Java Connector Architecture.It is a part of the Adapter Engine, which provides interfaces for configuring, managing, and monitoring adapters.
    The following r good websites which give complete overview of Adapter:

  • Transform IDoc to XML file

    Hi.
    I'm trying to transformate an IDoc in SAP to a XML file and vice versa by Business Connector. I have configured a routing in BC for export IDoc to a XML file by FTP and then appear a flow service in BC Developer within a map and a TransportService for a OutboundProcess, but I don't know how to continue by there.
    I have run a lookup service and return IDoc OK.
    Thanks.

    Hi Julio,
    Take a look to this thread
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/06/28/xipi-faq-frequently-asked-questions
    There you will find what you want! Go to Documents > here you can find templates for XI and I think you have one or two templates ffor your scenario.
    If it helps, don't forget the points.

  • Conversion of inbound IDOC into XML file

    Hi experts,
    We have an inbound idoc (FIDCC2) that starts and triggers the creation of an FI document. We would like now, that, instead of creating the FI document, the inbound IDOC creates an XML file on a given directory, with the contents of the idoc. Can anybody explain how to configure this?
    Many thanks in advance,
    John De Coninck.

    John,
       Firstly, need more information. If I understand you correctly, you are getting an inbound FI document that is created as an IDOC and it posts into FI (using an underlying FM/transaction etc). Now you want to convert this IDOC into XML on a folder (which can be found on AL11 (a.k.a App Server)).
    Question 1: Where are you getting this IDOC from? Is it through EDI/ALE? What is your interfacing server (the one that is sending you this IDOC.
    Question 2: What format is this IDOC coming in? Is it flat/XML etc?
    Question 3: Is this an internally created IDOC? Is there an attached partner profile in WE20? If there is a partner profile that exists and you're using this to create the inbound IDOC, then there are process codes available to forward these IDOC's (e.g ED08).
    There are many ways you can achieve this but everything depends on how your system is configured and how this processing is going on.

  • IDOC to JMS with Dynamic Configuration.

    Dear Experts,
    IDOC -> SAP PI -> JMS.
    We will receive a value in the IDOC-message, based on which the target queue is to be defined.
    1) So which property in Dynamic Configuration will help me?
    2) Will it be the normal procedure (UDF in Message Mapping and then select the ASMA attribute in receiver channel)?
    I went through: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/FAQ+J2EEJMS+Adapter (question 2.9 and 2.8)
    But in one thread it was mentioned that such configuration (of queue) is not possible.
    Any idea on how to proceed?
    ~Thanks.

    Hello Stefan,
    Thank you for the response.
                        -----> Company1
    IDOC -> SAP PI   -----> Company2
                        -----> Company3
    We have the above integration in place. Now without ASMA, we will have to create three different JMS Channels; one in each of the Business Service. This would mean that in future if the receivers increase, the corresponding channels have to be increased
    But now I am confused as to what the Q 2.9 in this wiki link means: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/FAQ+J2EEJMS+Adapter
    ~Thanks
