If computer turned off on the day of a set reminder, it isn't popping up the following day.

I have several recurring reminders that I get to pop up on the first of every month for example. It is a work computer, and since the first of March fell on a Sunday, my computer was turned off. I would expect that the reminders would have then popped up first thing this morning (Monday) when I turned the computer on but they haven't.
I didn't have this problem prior to updating to Yosemite.

NO, sorry, there are no easy-to-follow Steps for what has to be done, and you will not have the correct equipment or software tools to do it in any case. Find an Experienced Professional, or, a Senior student in your local University's Computer-Degrees Department, recommended by the Professor or their Grad-Student T.A.
The correct physical Adapter is required, and it will be attached to a PC running Non-Windows software, for the best results. [ Windows has Permissions attributes and SecurityDescriptors on every single File, that may prevent successful copying of fully-functional User Files, on another PC running a Windows OS. ] Only an Experienced person will know all the locations to search, for User Files. Your Files/Data should be copied onto an External HDD (only!... DVDs and FlashDrives are NOT reliable BackUp devices!), then back into the correct locations of your PC's Filesystem, "after" your PC has been repaired correctly.
Be warned: do NOT try to put your HDD inside another of the same or similar Model of PC, to get the Files off it. If you do not know what you are doing, you can turn BOTH PCs and BOTH Hard Disks into BoatAnchors.

That message is usually a sign that you tried to roll back to an earlier build of iTunes, but occasionally I've seen it connected to a new upgrade. This technique should fix things.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

My computer turns off if im not touching any key or the track pad

My computer turnas off whenever i am not either touching the track pad or touching a key. if i spent less than 10 seconds without touching it it will turn the anouncement of turning it on and it waits 5 seconds and i i ddint press the CANCEL sing it turns off.
this is rreally frustrating becaue if i am doing a documnet it doesnt safe or if i am watching a movie i have to see the movie while touching the compter.

Try that. If that doesn't help:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

If iTunes cannot see your iPhone.
First, try soft-resetting your iPhone. Press and hold sleep/wake and home button, ignore the slide bar - keep pressing.
When you see the Apple logon, let go. When the phone has restarted, plug into PC. Will iTunes see iPhone now?
If not, you'll have to do a DFU restore - please note that this will wipe everything on your iPhone. If you have a recent backup (iTunes does this by default), then you're in luck and you can restore everything back.
If not, then...hmm well... Oh bum. Maybe you have an iCloud backup? I haven't tried this so I can't comment.

Please help - computer turns off randomly

I purchased my computer in the US in september - right before I moved to London. Mid november it died. The computer would turn on and chime, but the screen was dead. I took it to a 3rd party repair (which apple phone tech support insisted was just as good as the apple store) and they replaced the logic board. It all seemed fine until I took it home and used ichat video with my family - the computer turned off. It didn't shut down, just seemed to pause and go dead. I could reboot it and it had no recollection of incorrect shutdown with the exception of firefox. (I dont know if this is important, but every time it does this and i reboot, the sound resets to mute) I started to notice that the computer does this any time I use video functions for an extended period of time (or at least 20 minutes). I have brought it to the apple store twice, where they have repaired it twice. I have gone through at least one more logic board, a heat sink, something to do with the power adapter, as well as the battery. They cannot find anything wrong - 3 repairs later its still shutting down so I went to apple again. Unwilling to give up my computer YET again, they recommended I archive and install. I have now done that - now my computer is crawling - still crashing - and some programs decide to open up occasionally or start and stop without a crash notice. I tried to run disk utility and it froze. On top of this all, they recommended I download xslimmer to convert old power pc programs to the current intel format I'm running on my new macbook - this seems to have complicated things more. I asked them to replace the computer during my last genius bar visit, i was told that because my computer was purchased in the states they cannot replace it, and I will not be heading back to the states soon enough to have it replaced there. So anyone with any insight, please help! I bought a new computer so i wouldn't have to deal with these problems and its turning out to be more of a headache than my old powerbook g4.

I also forgot to mention that every 45-60 seconds there are two faint tick sounds coming from inside the computer.
