If I delete iCloud from iPhone 4 phone will this delete everything from my new upgraded iphone 5 ?
No. You can delete your iCloud account from your iPhone 4 and the information will remain in iCloud either through syncing or through a backup.or through both features. Just make sure you have a recent backup.

I just upgraded my iphone 4S to IOS 8 and a ton of pictures appeared on my iphone from my computer. I want them saved in my computer iphoto but not on my phone. If I delete them from my phone will they delete in iphoto on my computer? They are taking up a lot of memory. Thanks
No they will not delete. If you are nervous about that, connect your phone to your computer and import the photos into iPhoto and drag them into a new folder on your desktop.

if I have an older iPhone and it is connected to my cloud account with my other devices, what would happen if I delete my cloud account from that phone, will I delete it across all my devices?
Also, I have one more thing to ask. Can I then set up a new cloud account for the old iPhone just for my son to use?

It will only sync what you have selected to sync.
Your subject question and the question in the body is not the same. Which is your question?
Deleting on iPhone has no effect on your computer. -
If I erase my phone will it erase everything from my computer as well?
iTunes and my iPhone 4 are having a really annoying disagreement. There are things on my phone that I no longer want on my phone (music, photos, aps, etc.) but every time I delete them off of my phone (through iTunes or through the phone itself) when I plug my phone back in and hit sync it all reappears on the phone and it's taking up too much space.
I want to hit the Erase iPhone button and delete everything and start from scratch but I don't want to lose my contacts.
My contacts are saved in the address book of my macbook - when I hit erase on my phone, will it delete it off my laptop as well?
I've reached my wits end with this contraption. Someone help me.Generally, you should back up your computer before you install any new apps or when you have something you do not want to lose.
If it has been one year (or 6 months or 3 months) since you last backup, anything since your last backup will not be able to get recovered if you need to.
Does that mean all my contacts would be gone? As far as I can tell they're being saved through iCloud
If you are syncing contacts and calendars with iCloud, deleting on the computer or the iPhone will not remove then from iCloud. -
If i deleted pics from my phone will it delete pics from my i cloud acct.??
I don't want to delete pics if I can't for sure save them to my icloud. Please help it says my storage is getting to full.
If you delete them from your phone they will also be deleted from iCloud. To save your photos, import them from your camera roll to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 before deleting them from your phone.

HT5621 Deleting icloud account means photos will be deleted on the phone ?
If I delete my icloud account will all my photos be deleted ?
If you simply remove your account from the iPhone (e.g., Settings > iCloud = "Off"), then your photos will not be deleted from your iCloud account.

I had a previous iPhone, my current iPhone and my iPad that are all connected to one cloud. Can I delete the backup from my previous iPhone? Will it delete in the cloud AND on the phone? or does it just delete from iCloud? or does it just delete from the phone? Someone please help!
You can delete the backup without any problem. Only the backup will be deleted from iCloud and nothing else will be deleted, so you can do it without worrying about losing data on iCloud or your devices

If I restored my new iPhone from iCloud backup, and I delete the old iPhone backup to make room on iCloud to back up my new phone, will it delete everything on the new phone?
I have this exact same issue. Replaced my iPhone 4s with the new iPhone 5s, setting up my new iPhone 5s to restore from iCloud. This completed and now I am unable to delete my old iPhone 4s iCloud backup (consuming 15.1 GB of my 20GB allocation). How can I delete it, so that I get my 15 GB back? I am not going to invest in additional iCloud storage, because I will be 15 GB down from the off.

I've just created this new apple ID account and i need to know that if i plug my phone into my computer and sync my phone onto my new account, then delete my old icloud and apple account from my phone will my things be backed up onto my new icloud? such as my pictures notes contacts music ect... ?
Providing your Apple ID is not a .me or a .Mac address, you can change it with Apple and continue to use your account.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Once who have done this you can then correct it on your mobile device.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
If however, your Apple ID was a .me or a .Mac address, then you will need to create a new account, follow the instructions above for deleting your account on your mobile device and then tap the "create Apple ID" button to create a new account. -

I updated to 7.0.2 and now some of my music has been removed and I can't find it, and music I deleted years ago has reappeared, and I can't delete it from icloud. My phone will also no longer sync with my computer. My phone has also been freezing regularly since I updated.
The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

If I want to delete other people's iCloud accounts from my phone will it interfere with the backups on their phones?
Hello Stacey140
You should not have an issues with removing accounts and messing with others users backup. As long as you are not removing the main account that is yours that you use for back up, everything will be fine.
