If I end TV contract after 12 months, what will I ...

After reading a few posts about being able to keep my youview box after ending the contract I was wondering what I will still be able to use my youview box for.
Will I still be able to use it as a freeview recorder? Will the EPG still show up?
I will be keeping my phone and infinity contract, so will the youview box still show me the sport channels?
Thanks

ask the carrier what they unlocking rules are
if they don't sim unlock it
it will not work with sim cards from other carriers
so if it would work in uae it would be roaming and still be using cricket as carrier and you could be charged an arm and a leg for both data and talking

  • I would like to end my contract early. How much will I have to spend to do so?

I have an iPhone 5s that I purchased in November. I picked up the phone in Best Buy and immediately was overcome by lust for all things Apple. I did not ask the right questions (in fact, I asked no questions.) I was unaware I would be paying >$100 per month on my phone bill. I cannot afford this outrageous fee. My contract ends in 2015. I have a very long time before my contract ends and my boss just cut my hours in half. I am not going to allow a dumb phone to send me into destitution... which it has many times. I'm already under the poverty level; I need to cut this needless expense. I know this is my own mistake. I was stupid and allowed the feel and look and name of the iPhone to make my decision, instead of basing my cellular preference upon need and practicality.

I'm happy you love your phone misseve but sad to hear you need to possibly cancel your plan. We always have options for our awesome customers and based on your data usage we can recommend some other plans. We have a $60.00 plan currently that provides 1gb of data per month with unlimited text and voice minutes.  Take a look at the plan here http://vz.to/1d0wrWV .You can also perform a pricing plan analysis online via MY-Verizon to see if there is a lower plan that is more cost effective http://bit.ly/xB4iTc . • HP Officejet once was set up wireless, and worked, after one month, it will not connect to router?

I have been working with this new HP all in one wireless printer, and was working great, then one day out of the blue it stopped. I can't print out a thing, and when checking on why it stopped, it first printed out that it was not connected to the radio connection, which I thought was Bogus, then after working on it a little more, I went to the wps on the router and held down the WPS, as was requested for 3 seconds, but when I returned to the printer, it all looked as though it was downloading until it got down to 7 seconds, then it stopped and refuses to connect to the router. Does Anyone have any Ideas on how to fix this issue or, tell me what I maybe doing wrong???? This is Now driving me insane. I am connected to an HP Computor, it appears that the router maybe the problem, so I need HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP! Please, thank's to anyone who can suggest the right fix for this printer.

    Hello thesuperdude,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I gather that you have run into several issues with your Officejet printer since you received an error about the radio connection.
To better understand the issue, please provide some further information:
What make/model/product number of HP printer do you have? Guide to finding your product number
How is the printer connected now (USB cable, ethernet, or wireless)?
Are you getting any error messages? If yes, what is the error message and where are they being displayed?
Is the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet?
What operating system are you using on your computer (Windows 7, Mac 10.8, or Windows 8, etc)?
Have you installed the full feature software and driver onto your computer?
    Thank you.

  • What happens if I decide to cancel my CC Photoshop Photography Program AFTER 12 months are over?

In the "Terms and conditions," it states under "Renewal," "After the first 12 months, we will automatically renew your contract based on the current price of the offering."
I think I understand that the statement means that the monthly price of $9.99 is subject to change after the contract is over. I just want to make sure basically what I ask in my topic: what will happen if we decide to cancel after the 12 months are up? Is this program something we'd have to pay for forever?
What happens if we decide to stay in the program after 12 months? Will we keep getting charged monthly or will we eventually not be asked to pay for it if we've, let's say, cumulatively "paid up" for the softwares?

You never stop paying for subscription software. You will keep getting charged monthly. It's not a hire purchase agreement where you own the software after paying a set amount for an agreed time period. Neither is it a lease where you pay a residual amount to own the software at the end.
You will keep paying the monthly fee for as long as you want to use the software. If you want to use the software forever then you keep paying forever.
On the plus side, you get all updates and upgrades for free as part of your membership.
When you stop paying the monthly fee, you lose the use of the software.

  • YouView box - can I keep it after 12 months?

Does anyone have the answer to this one:
If I subscribe to the new YouView service starting in a few weeks, will the box supplied by BT be mine after 12 months, or will I have to return it if I don't renew my subscription?

You should always check the terms and conditions in place at the time you take out your contract.
Cuurently the BTTariff Guide for Residential Customers (29th September) says:
3 The standard price for the Vision+ box is £199.00 and for the YouView box is £299. We may allow you to defer payment of some or all of this price for up to 12 months from the date that we accept your order. The amount you need to pay upfront depends on the Vision and Broadband commitment you choose, which set top box you choose and whether you are a new or an existing BT Vision customer.
The tables below show how much you will need to pay when you place your order. Any balance may be deferred for up to 12 months
    4. Any part of the standard price for the set top box that we
allow you to defer, becomes payable either 12 months after
we accept your order or at the point that you end the BT Vision
service – whichever is the earlier. This deferred payment is the
full price that applied at the time we accepted your order, less
any amount which you paid upfront. If you keep your Vision
service for 12 months or more from the date that we accepted
your order, we will waive any deferred payment that you
would be liable to pay for the set top box.

Error in determining actual costs for order 70076492
    Message no. RU085
    Diagnosis
The actual costs could not be determined correctly due to incorrect or missing data.
    System Response
The determination of actual costs is terminated.
However, the confirmation itself can be saved. Error records are written for a subsequent determination of actual costs. Using these error records, the determination of actual costs can be repeated once the original causes of the errors have been removed.
The transaction COFC for reprocessing the determination of actual costs can be found, for example, using the menu options "Logistics -> Production -> Production Control -> Confirmation -> Reprocessing -> Actual Costs."
However, it is not possible to write error records for run schedule headers, QM orders or header confirmations. In this case, the confirmation transaction must be terminated because a subsequent determination of actual costs is not possible.
    Procedure
You can find the exact cause of the termination of the determination of actual costs in the error log for actual cost determination.
You can switch the error log on and off using the variable parameters.

  • After CO month end -- Need to solve quickly

    Dear all,
We have a scenario in sales order costing with sale order is cost object with valuated stock
Major issue is after running month end in CO, client is checking a Z-report which is developed for cost of sales
In this report client is checking profit and loss statement for the month of JAN 2012 which should show net profit of SAR 2 million instead of current net loss of SAR 4 million for the sales of SAR 9 million.
The major problam lies with inventry change in account whic is showing negative balance of SAR 7 million in the profit and loss account.
When I checked WIP in KKAO system is showing WIP(cumulative is zero) and WIP ( period )  is showing negative balance..
For the some of the orders I am still able see the amount with negative sign in the  WIP ( period )  column of the report after order status as delivered..
In the Z-report system is showing change in inventry account amount as (7 millions)..
WIP calculation is at actual cost
    Scenario:
Client create sales order only for make order no stock..
Production order are created with reference to sale order..
For each production there will multiple production orders in a single header production order
Some times client is issuing materials at header order directly instead of each order level..
some times issuing only material with no actual activies and taking GR from order then it flows to header order..
Please provide your valueble inputs as it is very urgent for the client..
    Thanks,
    Janki

    Dear All,
Can any one please provide valuable inputs for the issue.
My major concers is after order has delivered status in NOV 20111, still I am able to see negative balance in the current period Jan 2012 (G/L account is change in inventry p&l account having negative balance)
User completed month end for the month of Jan 2012 (1st period for the fiscal 2012).
The G/L account is causing major damage for the profit and loss account.
    Please help..
    Thanks,

  • End of contract questions (Data plan and upgrade eligibility)

    Hi All,
I found another thread also titled "End of contract questions" and it was very helpful but I want to make sure I'm not mistaken in any way.  Here's my scenario:
    2 Line Plan
    ME (primary): 2-year contract, unlimited Data (10/15/10 - 10/15/12)
    WIFE: 1-year contract, unlimited data (10/15/10 - 10/15/11)
I signed her up for a 1-year contract on the advice of the Verizon rep that was helping us.  It ended up netting an additional cost of $70-100 (I forget exactly) but it was worth it in my opinion because I knew that one of us would be able to get a new phone in 1 year as opposed to 2.
So here are the specific questions:
    1.  Verizon has done away with 1-year contracts.  This means that whenever my wife goes in to renew her contract (and get a new device), she will need to sign a 2 year contract, correct?  All further questions will be posed based on a "yes" answer to this one.
    2.  Assuming she has to sign a 2-year contract, will she still be able to retain her unlimited data plan?
    3.  Assuming she signs up for a 2-year contract, will she still be able to get "loyalty" pricing or whatever they're calling it now (used to be "new every 2")?  Is she even eligible for anything since she's not the primary on the line?
    4.  In the other thread titled "End of contract questions..." it was mentioned that "The loyalty discount expires 6 months after it becomes available -- so 2 months after your contract ends".  Is this correct?
    5.  Currently, if I go to MyVerizon and hover over the "?" next to my number and "Eligible for a discount" it says:  "You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing. If you upgrade on or after 6/15/12 you are eligible to receive an additional loyalty discount. "  I intend to wait for my line as it still has a year on the contract however when I do the same for my wife's line it says:  You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing."  Does it not mention the Loyalty discount because it's not applicable to a secondary line?  Or perhaps because it's implied since she's technically out of her contract period?
I'm trying to make heads or tails of this.  At the time, it sounded like a great idea (her on a 1-year, me/primary on a 2-year).  I'm hoping it will work out for us so that every year, one of us will be eligible for a new line.  I'm only concerned with the unlimited data aspect being that she's going to be going from a 1-year to a 2-year and also the actual loyalty/discount aspect.
Thanks in advance for anyone who helps!!

Yes, either a 2yr contract or no contract and pay full retail price of the phone.
    2.  Assuming she has to sign a 2-year contract, will she still be able to retain her unlimited data plan? Yes, if she upgrades from smartphone to smartphone.
    3.  Assuming she signs up for a 2-year contract, will she still be able to get "loyalty" pricing or whatever they're calling it now (used to be "new every 2")?  Is she even eligible for anything since she's not the primary on the line? Not eligible because she is 1)not the primary line and 2)1yr contracts weren't eligible in the first place.

  • BT infinity what a laugh after 15 months still get...

I am a very unhappy with this and very stressed,
Let me explain from the start I decided in may 2012 to try BT infinity, as was with sky and contract had ended. so BT where very helpful to start. everything was ordered, on the day engineers came to install, my husband stayed at home and was very alarmed when 2 so call engineers one trainee they looked at all the wires in the box and said "I don't now whats happened here will just have to wing it" well thats a joke in its self which BT were advised off, well the first week was a bit hit an miss which bt advised its just in process, after 15 months we are still loseing connection around 10 times a day wireless and 3 times a day wired. I have phoned BT help line repeatedly to do this test and that test plug this wire out plug that wire out now reboot sytem change channels after waiting on the line for over 30 minutes each time I even was told on one occasion to go and get cat6 ethernet cables it was my cables that was faulty so I went and spent money on them fitted them and it worked for all of 2 hours. The best thing ever today was watching tv and it comes up with the server error code again so I was considering takings talk talks offer. then I thought no I will give BT one last chance to fix this. I phone up and spoke to someone in uk from the essex team  he was very friendly and helpful he advised when I lost connection again to phone straight back to his department (no ques direct line) so they could run tests he gave me phone number and pin, so we went back to watching tv kids playing on xbox upstairs then all goes off again within half an hour so I phone on this number that was given to me with the pin to be put in a que again for 10 minutes I finally get through and the rep starts reading notes he then says I want to sort this for you on this call so you dont have to call again he runs lots of tests puts me on silent hold for 1 hour only coming back once to say they have found the fault the tech team are fixing it now I think yes at long last so he puts me back on hold and when he comes back on he says sorry we not found any fault your internet is working just fine if your wireless products keep going off just try sitting closer to the hub. well by this point I am fumeing and ask to make a complaint and speak to manager he then puts me back on hold for 10minutes, Then the superviser comes on the phone he advises that he need to request a manager call back as he is putting this through he says i'm really sorry I cant request a call back as you have highest bt infinity straight to house so cant deal with your request your in the wrong department. Now my head is about to explode he just keeps saying sorry i was on the phone to someone for over 1an half hours that could not even do anything (what did he do while was on hold go for a cuppa) well the superviser then says I will transfer you to right department so I go back in the que for 10 minutes this time I speak to another rep from the essex team he does try to defuse my anger. my phone at this point is becoming low on batterie so he advises will call back so can use other house phone I check with him before he goes why the phone number and pin given to me to was wrong place he says sorry but you do have the right numbers for this department so I hang up with an expected call back within 2 minutes well no surprise there no call back after 20 minutes so I get back on the phone to the number and pin given me which sends me back to the same department that kept me on hold for an hour so I am then advised that the right department closes in 5 minutes so I cant put you through what a joke. I have advised I will be contacting ombudsman communications services and ofcom first thing tomorrow morning.
I am totally dumb founded by BT's lack of customer service and respect and as far as I am concerned I will be stating this to everyone and anyone that will listen if I stop even one person from making the misstake of going to BT it will be worth it

Quick update i phoned the ombudsman today and was given all the information to esscalate my complaint he did advise to give BT one last chance to sort my issue so I phoned again got through to india which advised dont deal with fibre so was transfered after 20 minutes in que got back to india again she advise could not deal with me as fibre to property so was transfered again 15 minutes in the que again by this time. I am so angry  start speaking to someone and they say sorry you are through to buiness switch board will have to transfer you, I then start to speak to someone from exeter who say they can deal with my complaint I ask for an engineer and she says she will sort it as she has to deal with this due to her manager listening to call so I have an appointment for monday morning for enginer this is BTs last chance if he does not turn up I will be moving provider and making my formal complaint in writing with ombudsman reference

  • Understanding End Of Contract PRE & POST Clause

Can someone confirm or explain how the 2 yr contract works? I have two lines that contract expires on same date a few months from today (OCT 2010) . My questions are as follows:
1.- Do I need to notify VW in writing about canceling my account within a certain number of days/time before term ends?
2.-If No notification is formally made will I be going into a month-2-month service after that for both of my lines?

1.- Do I need to notify VW in writing about canceling my account within a certain number of days/time before term ends? Cancelling your account involves two factors.  First, you must cancel AFTER the contract end date to avoid any Early Termination Fees.  Second, you must cancel BEFORE the end of your billing cycle to avoid being charged for another full month of service.  Verizon will charge you for the entire month of service in the month you cancel.  What is your exact contract end date and billing date?  If you give them, we may be able to help you plan the day to cancel service as cheaply as possible.
Just as an addition to this, if you call cust care after your final contract month, they can post date your cancellation so that you don't roll into another billing cycle.  Verizon will only terminate service at the end of a billing cycle since you pay for service in advance.
2.-If No notification is formally made will I be going into a month-2-month service after that for both of my lines? If you don't explicity cancel your service, it will continue on a month-to-month basis until you ask for it to be cancelled.  The only difference between being "in-contract" and being "month-to-month" is that in the second case, you can cancel at any time without paying an Early Termination Fee.
    Exactly right
    In advance,
    Thank you.

  • End of contract

    Hi
I'm on a 18 month Infinity and calls package and a 12 month BT Vision contract. Will I be contacted before the end of each contract to discuss renewal or will I be auto-contracted for another period if i don't get in touch with BT? Can I keep BT Vision going until the end of the Infinity/calls deal so I can wholesale to another provider.
    thanks

They might contact you and ask you to sign up for another year.  Or they might not.
Most BT contracts do not auto-renew - you should have been specifically told if you signed up for something that does auto-renew.  The 18 month and 12 month "contracts" are just the minimum period you agreed to.  The contract doesn't end after that period, but you simply go on to paying monthly until you choose to cancel or change the deal.
If you were given a special deal when you signed up, then that will expire and you will pay the standard price for all your services.
If you want, you are free to phone up BT and offer to agree to another 12 months if BT makes it worth your while (you should ask for a discount just like they are offering to new customers).  Otherwise, just stick with paying monthly and keep the option of switching to a competitor at a month's notice if you ever want to.

  • Is there a fee to disconnect a tablet prior to end of contract?

Is there a fee to disconnect a tablet prior to end of contract?

Yes, that is the point of having a contract. You received a benefit for signing the contract. If you do not fulfill the contract, there is a penalty. For tablets, it starts at $175.
    From the Customer Agreement:
If you cancel a line of Service, or if we cancel it for good cause, during its contract term, you'll have to pay an early termination fee. If your contract term results from your purchase of an advanced device on or after November 14, 2014, your early termination fee will be $350, which will decline by $10 per month upon completion of months 7–17, $20 per month upon completion of months 18–22, $60 upon completion of month 23 and will be $0 upon completion of the contract term. For other contract terms entered into on or after November 14, 2014, your early termination fee will be $175, which will decline by $5 per month upon completion of months 7–17, $10 per month upon completion of months 18–22, $30 upon completion of month 23 and will be $0 upon completion of your contract term. If your contract results from your purchase of an advanced device prior to November 14, 2014, your early termination fee will be $350 minus $10 for each full month of your contract term that you complete. For other contract terms entered into prior to November 14, 2014, your early termination fee will be $175 minus $5 for each full month of your contract term that you complete. Cancellations will become effective on the last day of that month's billing cycle, and you are responsible for all charges incurred until then. Also, if you bought your wireless device from an authorized agent or third–party vendor, you should check whether they charge a separate termination fee.
