After CO month end -- Need to solve quickly

Dear all,
We have a scenario in sales order costing with sale order is cost object with valuated stock
Major issue is after running month end in CO, client is checking a Z-report which is developed for cost of sales
In this report client is checking profit and loss statement for the month of JAN 2012 which should show net profit of SAR 2 million instead of current net loss of SAR 4 million for the sales of SAR 9 million.
The major problam lies with inventry change in account whic is showing negative balance of SAR 7 million in the profit and loss account.
When I checked WIP in KKAO system is showing WIP(cumulative is zero) and WIP ( period )  is showing negative balance..
For the some of the orders I am still able see the amount with negative sign in the  WIP ( period )  column of the report after order status as delivered..
In the Z-report system is showing change in inventry account amount as (7 millions)..
WIP calculation is at actual cost
Scenario:
Client create sales order only for make order no stock..
Production order are created with reference to sale order..
For each production there will multiple production orders in a single header production order
Some times client is issuing materials at header order directly instead of each order level..
some times issuing only material with no actual activies and taking GR from order then it flows to header order..
Please provide your valueble inputs as it is very urgent for the client..
Thanks,
Janki

Dear All,
Can any one please provide valuable inputs for the issue.
My major concers is after order has delivered status in NOV 20111, still I am able to see negative balance in the current period Jan 2012 (G/L account is change in inventry p&l account having negative balance)
User completed month end for the month of Jan 2012 (1st period for the fiscal 2012).
The G/L account is causing major damage for the profit and loss account.
Please help..
Thanks,
Janaki

  • Reversal is only possible after CO month end closing

I am getting the error Reversal is only possible after CO month end closing while doing partial or full confirmation. I had already checked the OKP1 the period is open. Also in MMRV it is fine. Please suggest what could be the reason for this error.

Also when i do the back button the message i am getting is
Error in determining actual costs for order. The detail analysis for the same is
Error in determining actual costs for order 70076492
    Message no. RU085
    Diagnosis
The actual costs could not be determined correctly due to incorrect or missing data.
    System Response
The determination of actual costs is terminated.
However, the confirmation itself can be saved. Error records are written for a subsequent determination of actual costs. Using these error records, the determination of actual costs can be repeated once the original causes of the errors have been removed.
The transaction COFC for reprocessing the determination of actual costs can be found, for example, using the menu options "Logistics -> Production -> Production Control -> Confirmation -> Reprocessing -> Actual Costs."
However, it is not possible to write error records for run schedule headers, QM orders or header confirmations. In this case, the confirmation transaction must be terminated because a subsequent determination of actual costs is not possible.
    Procedure
You can find the exact cause of the termination of the determination of actual costs in the error log for actual cost determination.
You can switch the error log on and off using the variable parameters.

  • Reverse Revaluation Process after month end

    Hi All,
I want to ask is it a common practice to reverse the revaluation postings done by FAGL_FC_VAL after the month end process?  If so, that means the revaluation process is just giving us a better estimate of the outstanding AR and AP amount in the balance sheet to make it more accurate.  Is this correct?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Foreign Currency Valuation is needed for all open items (G/L, A/R and A/P) as per different Accounting Standards so that Balance Sheet of the entity displays correct Profit or Loss for the period.
However since the items are still open its advisable to reverse the valuation on the 1st day of the next period. That's why in FAGL_FC_VAL, system would posts to Unrealized Exch Gain /Loss Account.
There is an exception though to the Account with balance in Foreign Currency like Main Bank Account. In this case the difference in Foreign Currency needs to be posted to Exch Gain / Loss Realized Account.
Once the item gets cleared automatically system posts to Exch Gain / Loss Realized Account.
    Regards,
    Sanjay

  • IBook Rises From Dead After 3 Months!  Baffled Family Member Needs Answers

    Hi
This is a rather long-winded post, so apologies/thanks to those of you patient enough to read to the end and to anyone who can shed some light on something that is baffling me regarding my iBook G3 700MHz (mid-2002 - I think).
This iBook has been an absolute trojan, working virtually 24/7 since I got it.
Anyway, one day about 3 months ago it just wouldn't power up. Nothing. No sound, no movement or any other sign of life.
I called my local Apple dealer and they told me about the PMU reset (mentioned elsewhere in these posts), which I did, and lo and behold the old beast fired up again. There was much rejoicing. All I had to do was reset the date and everything was sweet.
A day or so later I turned it off to take it to work with me, as usual. When I got to work and tried to start up nothing happened. Dead.
I tried the PMU reset again, to no avail. Nothing would get it going again.
I took it in to the dealer for them to have a look at. When I phoned back in the evening they said the logic board was dead and would need to be replaced at a cost of AU$1,000 (about US$800)! When I asked whether there wasn't an internal battery that could be replaced, I was told the iBooks don't have them - a fact which seems to have been confirmed in other posts in this forum.
I decided to buy a new iBook.
I've been waiting now for over 2 months for my new BTO iBook, but the dealer has lent me another iBook to tide me over until it arrives. The ridiculous wait for my new iBook is something I can cover in another rant, so I'll cut to the chase now...
Today, I was tidying up and decided that i should put my dead iBook away in its box and maybe one day I'd buy a second-hand logic board on eBay or something, fix it up and use it as an iTunes player or something...
Anyway, just before I put the dead iBook into its coffin, I thought I'd just give the power button one last push, for old times' sake.
    The beast started up!
Again, there was much rejoicing. Again, all I had to do was reset the date/time.
So, as I type this on my loan iBook, I'm listening to iTunes via my SoundSticks on the old machine.
    My question is this...
What has really happened to my iBook?
If the logic board is dead, why did the machine start up again after 3 months lying dormant?
If there is no internal battery, why have I had to reset the date/time both times it restarted? Wouldn't it be logical to think that some kind of battery was storing these settings?
Doesn't it seem reasonable to think that there is some sort of battery inside the machine which has slowly built up enough charge over the last 90 days to allow the computer to boot again?
Is it that there is in fact an internal battery built in to the logic board, and when the dealer told me it was "fried", all they really meant was that the battery was dead, but because it was on the logic board that the whole thing had to be replaced?
Obviously, I'm not going to turn the old iBook off again. I'll just put it to sleep when I'm not listening to music through it, but I'm just wondering whether any of you really smart people can tell me what's going on.
I really feel that this is miraculous and need some kind of clear answers to these questions.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
    Matt
    iBook G3 dual USB 700MHz   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Hi, Matthew. Welcome to Apple Discussions.
It is not uncommon for an iBook with a bad logic board to work intermittently.
There is no internal battery in an iBook. A capacitor holds the date/time information long enough for you to switch batteries, or for a short time without battery or AC power. The only battery is the main battery. If it has been left without use for some months, the capacitor has simply lost the date and time due to disuse and lack of power during that time.
When you do a PMU reset, this makes the time and date default, also.
Your iBook has been acting as one would expect, given the circumstances.
    Mystery solved.

  • [SOLVED] Glibc broke pacman after 2 months without update

    Hello all !
So I did an update of the system after two months.
To begin with I couldn't update because of the issue with the /lib.
Pacman was complaining that /lib was existing in the filesystem.
I used the command provided by the wiki and by some posts to update :
    pacman -Syu --ignore glibc,curl
Everything went fine and 422 packages were upgraded.
But then when I tried to use pacman, I had the following error :
pacman: /lib/libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.16' not found (required by /lib/libarchive.so.12)
I tried to follow several posts, and that's what I did :
    - downgrade pacman (extracting the tar.xz directly in the /)
    - downgrade curl (extracting the tar.xz directly in the /)
    - upgrade pacman to 2.16 (downloading it on the web and extracting it directly in the /)
I still have the same problem with version 'GLIBC_2.16' not found.
When I tried to upgrade pacman to 2.16, no files were put in /lib, they were put instead to /usr/lib, so I don't see how it could have solved the problem.
Thank you for your help, I'm desperate now ! (by the way, I use yaourt)

The message error was different from the one about this update : https://www.archlinux.org/news/the-lib- … a-symlink/
It was that I installed glibc by extracting the tarball, and I was trying to reinstall it cleanly using pacman. It was complaining about the files of glibc already installed.
That's why I used the flag --force, only to overwrite glibc install.
WorMzy wrote:It seems to me that you're only interested in a quick fix, and aren't interested in understanding what the problem is. Coupled with the fact that you haven't updated in two months, I'm going to tentatively suggest that Arch isn't the distro for you.
Actually I am quite interested in understanding what the problem is, but even following the different posts I don't clearly get it, because I can find solutions, but not many explanations.
As for the fact that I didn't do an update in two months, it was because I had a master thesis to write, and I couldn't afford even one day of messing around with my system. So I guess I had my reasons for doing so.
I finally found the solution to be able to chroot back into my system, I simply had to delete /lib, and to symlink /usr/lib to /lib.
Now everything seems to work fine.
I am sorry if my previous posts were not clear enough, as I'm chrooting into a live usb on my desktop and using my laptop at the same time, it was hard for me to keep track of all the topics I followed.
Thank you for your help, now I'll try and solve my booting problems !

  • If I end TV contract after 12 months, what will I ...

After reading a few posts about being able to keep my youview box after ending the contract I was wondering what I will still be able to use my youview box for.
Will I still be able to use it as a freeview recorder? Will the EPG still show up?
I will be keeping my phone and infinity contract, so will the youview box still show me the sport channels?
    Thanks

  • How to define payment term - Net due 45 days after month end

Anyone have experience of payment terms such as "Net Due 45 days after Month End"?
I'm trying to define payment terms where the amount is due X days after month end.
Terms such as 10 days after month end are OK because I can set "Months Ahead" = 1 and "Day of Month" = 10
However, I can't exceed a value of 31 in the "Day on Month" field. I could assume that a month is 31 days and therefore set "Months Ahead" =1 and "Day of Month" = 14. However, this won't always be true (depending on the month) and it will impact aging buckets.
Anyone encountered this before? (These payment terms seem to common in France and Denmark)

    Hi Supriya,
In OBB8, create a new payment term with the following settings -
Default for baseline date = No default
    Payment terms/Term 1/Fixed date = 1
    Payment terms/Term 1/Additional months = 2
This payment term will ask you for a baseline date on document entry. You can give the delivery date as the baseline date. If required, this date can be changed after posting the document also.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Mike
