If i have multiple email addresses for one iPod that are no longer in use (and i've since forgotten the passwords), what do i do to transfer that music back into my iTunes library?
Help! None of the music on that iPod is on my computer ever since I had to reinstall my os. The iPod has massive amounts of unused space, but I can't access it. What do I do?
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

Hi, I lost my entire music library when my hard drive crashed 2 wks ago. It's all on my iPod, though..but the songlist appears gray. You can have more than one mail account. To add more, you can do it in two places:
1. Open System Preferences > Internet Accounts, and press the + button.
2. Open Mail and go to Mail menu (on the menu bar) > Add Account.
Respecting to iCloud, you can have more than one mail address if you upgraded from MobileMe or if you used iCloud before the iOS 6 launch. In both cases, you will have a @me.com and a @icloud.com address -
Email multiple email addresses for one contact within Group email
I have a contact card within a Group that has 2 email addresses. When sending out mass emails I want to send it out to both of the addresses for that one contact card; however, when I put the persons name in the address bar in mail, it only defaults to one of them. How can I fix this without creating multiple contact cards for the same person? Thanks for your help!!!

I'd maybe keep a little text snippet of the 2 email addies to copy/paste in the TO: feild, or the BCC: feild is better. -

The main reason is because when I login to FaceTime with my Apple ID (email address), it then asks me which email I wish to use with FaceTime.
Well, obviously I'm only given one choice (my Apple ID which is an email address)... so I'm curious how I can add multiple emails to one Apple ID account.
This seems to be possible since after I login to FaceTime, it's asking me which email address to use (and only one email, my Apple ID, is presented as an option, since I don't know how to add another email to the same account).
I do not wish to create another Apple ID.

(2) If you see the words "Preferences" and "Accounts" at the top right of the FaceTime window,
click on "Preferences".

Sorry, but Address Book does not allow you to select more than one email address to send to in a group. There's really no reason why people need multiple copies of a message, anyway; they have the option of forwarding email to another email address of theirs.

Why can't Mail have multiple email addresses on one email account? Like Thunderbird calls them Identities. As I remember, Outlook also supports this. I like Mail but it seems rather dated and clunky in this respect.
I am using mainly IMAP so maybe I should switch to Thunderbird but I do still have some old messages in pop accounts in Mail.You can have multiple accounts, but only one "identity." Configure new mail accounts for all the different email addresses you may have. They can each have different configurations, different servers, etc. as well as be individually made active or inactive. All incoming mail will funnel into a single Inbox, but you can use rules to transfer incoming mail to separate mailboxes based on the account.
What you cannot have are distinct "personalities."
Bear in mind that Mail is intended for a single user and the vast number of single users only have one email account. I actually have four different email addresses but three of them are set to forward mail to the account I use with Mail. Mail works quite well with IMAP, POP, and Outlook mail accounts. -

Thanks!You can do it individually, but it can also be done with Groups in Contacts, but you will need to create two or more groups. Once you have created the Groups in Contacts, drag the contacts that have multiple email addresses into each group. Then, select Edit Distribution List… from the Edit menu in Contacts.
For each group, select one address or the other for each contact. Do the same for the other group.
When you address an email, add both Groups to the address field in Mail. -

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

If my understanding is right, you must be using the master data of vendor Code(Which has an attribute to store Email IDs).
You can add multiple email ID to the same master data separated by semi colon ";"
If you are using user IDs instead, I dont think it is possible to use multiple user ID in the same attribute.
in this case you need to enhance the master data with a new attribute to store the second user ID and the create a separate setting for this attribute.

Hello, I want to perform a simple task.I have two Adobe ID accounts linked to two different email addresses. One account i do not want to use anymore but it is linked to my main email account. the account i do not want anymore is still in its free stage and i have not purchased anything with it. My other Adobe ID account is linked to an email i rarely use and don't particularly want to use. i have tried changing the linked email account to my regular one i use. But it obviously does not allow me because of it already being linked to my other non used obsolete Adobe ID account. Is there any solution to this?? Please help.
