If my iPod is stolen and I have a warranty on it, am I able to get a new one for free?
I got an iPod touch (4th Generation) for Christmas. I brought it to school yesterday and someone stole it. I have a warranty on it but I am not sure if the warranty covers it for being stolen. I just wanted to know that since my iPod is stolen and I have a warranty on it, can I still get a new iPod for free or just get a new iPod period?

So I was wondering would this work?The warranty is against manufacturing defect. It is not insurance against accidents. Apple sells Apple Care + (note the +) which does cover accidents, but it does not cover iPods.

Frankly just about any headset with the proper size connection will likely work. We like ear buds with soft coverings so even when we get a hard headset with a player we swap them out. While Apple might just possibly give you a set for free since they are not an expensive item, loss is not covered by warranty. If you're a long drive from an Apple Store it might cost you more in fuel and vehicle wear and tear than going to a local store and buying a comfortable replacement.

So I just got my iPhone 5s two days ago and someone has stolen it if I don't find it would bell give me a new one for free since I have insurance.
That question would best be posed to the insurance company, since they would be the one that would be handling it, not anyone here on the forum.

Apple care does not cover theft. It covers manufacturing defects for warranty. You need to contact the police and report it to them. Only insurance would replace a phone, and usually with a deductible. There is no free phone in your future.

One of my loud speakers don't work and there is no damage at all te the phone I have never dropped it the left speaker just doesn't work and I would like a new phone if it is possible ?

1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker) -

I downloaded and installed TB and it pre-configured my wife's mailbox instead of setting up a new one for me.
The first time I ran it, there was her mailbox and all the msg's. I didn't input anything for a server, login or password. IOt just came up configured for her mailbox! Did it do that from the IP address or what?I would guess that Thunderbird has been installed previously and it has simply rediscovered an old profile folder.
