I subscribed to 1 year with Adobe Creative Cloud more than a year ago. I got a discounted price of $29.99 per month instead of the normal $49.99 per month, because I qualified being that I had previously purchased and installed Adobe Creative Design Suite 4. I thought it a great idea to have all the software that the Adobe Cloud offered. A few months into that yearly subscription, I had been using Adobe Muse which was wonderful because I could actually create websites without knowing a bit of code. Yes, I was designing one site and had major difficulty and failed to publish many times. No fear, because a very king gentleman on Adobe Support named Zak did all his best and gave a great amount of attention to resolving this problem. While building that website my client lost patience with me in that I could not publish what the client wanted within reasonable time period because of all these failures in publishing and time in between each staggered resolve periods. I lost that client and ended up with a live website with a great deal of my artwork collected and established there. I decided to keep that website active if nothing more than to present it as a portfolio of sorts. Apparently, Zak, understood my disappointment with losing this client and actually provided me with a years, 12 months subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. This was wonderful for me and I accepted it graciously. So a year’s subscription proceeded month by month. Unfortunately every month I was subject to having to reaffirm the license for this yearly subscription! I began what ended up to be having to contact support each month for assistance in doing so. For without reactivating this yearly license each month I was subject to interruptions in accessing the software's usage or unable to use it at all. Major frustration...So come the nearing end of this Adobe Creative Cloud's subscription I contacted Adobe Support to voice my complaints on having to do this every month and once again get the subscription activated in order to use my software. This one support technician was giving me a difficult time for some reason and broke our telephone conversation many times as it was necessary for him to update himself with my file??? He came back to me astonished to find 12 months credit and asked me where did I acquire these freebies and on and on. He wanted proof that I had gotten these credits legally even though I reiterated the true story of benefiting from Zak's kindness. He wanted me to provide proof of the letter giving me all these credits and I told him I could and would. But he wanted to keep me on the phone for any duration until I could search my documents and find this letter and show it to him. I told him that I did not have time to search for it that moment and I could provide it later? He was really reluctant to allow this but eventually he requested I post this letter as proof onto my support ticket? Which I got around to do soon after. When posting that proof I asked to be given extra time on the subscription for being so to suspected of fraud? I asked for the hell of it a year or 2 more for Christ's sake? You know what, my support post has yet to be answered and actually I see that it was dismissed to no fault of mine. You haven't heard the most of what I went thru every month with this year’s subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. Yes, I'm pissed because now they are wanting me to spend $49.99 every month for another year’s subscription? Besides now the Creative Design Suite 4 that I had originally purchased as a full legal copy and acted to provide me with the original $29.99 discount qualification, they say is an OEM copy and does not qualify for the discount... Well John, it looks like you are talking to yourself on this one despite some 78 Views? I can't help to reiterate that I am still unable to access any of the software within my subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud and therefore not able to do any work! What the hell? I thought I would get 1 reply back but so far nothing but your own dismay? Perhaps this is normal in the manner in which Adobe treats its customers and therefore complete indifference to my problem? Or perhaps I'm just percieved as a trouble maker within the lowest ranks of membership in this forum? None the less John, you as a begger gets what you receive? I'm just guessing that I be a real trouble maker and expose my frustration with Adobe to the rest of the worlds forums? Someone at least should consider that once I was a devoted customer in using Adobe products and spread by word of mouth the advantages in professionalism that Adobe promotes itself to. What else you gonna do now, John? Well I guess go broke because no software equals no work and that equals no monie. No cash flow to even resubscribe To Adobe Creative Cloud at any price! A slide show with audio created in PSE 9 plays fine in edit. When brought to Premier Elements for dvd burn, the audio no longer plays. It appears in the edit, but no audio is played. This happens consistently. What setting might be wrong?

That Photoshop Elements 9.0.3 Update has generally been discouraged by the Photoshop Elements gurus. But, I am not going to factor that into this at this point.
This is what I would ask you to look at in the Elements Organizer 9 accessed from the Photoshop Elements 9 or Premiere Elements 9.
a. Create your slideshow in the Elements Organizer 9/Create/Slideshow/Slideshow Editor. Then use the Output option of Edit with Premiere Elements.
From your description, you are probably using the Output Option of Burn to Disc DVD which will take your slideshow directly in the Disc Menu section of Premiere Elements 9. The preferred transfer of the Elements Organizer 9 slideshow to Premiere Elements 9 Editor is by the non wmv route "Edit with Premiere Elements" not the wmv route of Burn to Disc DVD.
Let us explore if any of the above is involved in your issue and then we will decide what next if necessary.

Firefox any version Mac, has a bug were it does not see or ask for the proxy username and password. This happens if you use a virtual tagged interface. A recent network University policy change. The only way to fix this, is if you use a manual proxy configuration in Firefox. So all 100 + uni iMac's can only use Safari as I would need to do a profile push to all 300 students and I am unsure what file carries the proxy information.

Can my family still use the 'find my iphone' app from our iphones / ipod touch to locate each others phone if we have separate apple ids? We were sharing a single apple id but recently we started getting each others texts/facetimes .. I read that this happens when you share an apple id. Will we just have to sign in with the others' apple id to locate their phone ?
Use Find My Friends app instead. Much easier to manage, and you won't need each other's id/pw's to do it. They only need to accept your invitations and vice versa.

Setting Time Zone location marker still lights up in iOS 5.0.1 . Does this happen to you?
I have updated my iphone 4 to ios 5.0.1 ota and when the phone boots up the time zone location icon lights up i know this because i checked it in location services system . So does this happen to you ?
Yes, I saw this happen as well a week after upgrading to iOS 5 it started showing up all the time. So I shut the phone down and rebooted and the problem went away.

Display Problem - Has this happened to you?
Well, I have the new 3rd gen 8GB iPod nano. About 4 days ago, I noticed that when I turn on my iPod and highlight 'Music' in the first Menu, it doesn't display the album artwork like its soppose to, it shows 794 songs. Also does this with Movies and Podcasts. However, it does show pictures like its soppose to when I scroll to and highlight 'Photos'. How ever, when im playing music, it displays 1 of 784. So, im missing like 10 tracks. Im afraid something is wrong with my iPod and I still dont know how to fix this problem. I havn't modified the settings/firmware/software in any way. I have the most updated version of the iPod update. Has this happened to you?
Try the following :-
1, Make sure you don't have the hold switch in the locked position (so you can operate the ipod buttons).
2. Press and hold the centre and menu button at the same time, keep them pressed until you see the Apple logo appear on the screen, then release the buttons.
This will reset your iPod, it will NOT erase any of the contents of the iPod.

Has anyone experienced the iphone 4s camera panorama failure where the panorama stops after taking only one 'non panoramic shot? I think this happens when you switch direction of the panoramic arrow.
Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call? You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

The iPhone has a hardware problem - with the battery or something else.
The iPhone includes a one year warranty. If purchased new in October of 2012, it remains under warranty. Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. -
This error message appeared. Does anyone know why this happened? "You haven't been logged out because the applicationSoftwareUpdateCheck failed to quit…". I am using 10.8.4

A warning about your MacBook Pro (Do not let this happen to you)
If your MacBook Pro is nearing the end of its warranty do like be like me. Purchase the extended warranty!
Just before the warranty ran out on my 17" MacBook Pro in December of 2007 the NVIDEA Graphics chip set failed. (8600GT). As you will see below, this is a known issue that can affect your MacBook Pro. Since the machine was still under warranty the logic board was replaced at no cost to me. (Yay!)
Well, the new board came with a 6 month warranty. I decided (foolishly) not to purchase the extended Apple Care. Two weeks ago, it failed again. Apple claims that it ought to have failed (if it were ever going to) within 90 days. Obviously this is false since I had the first quite a while before it failed. They will not pay to fix it this time. So I am stuck with a broken machine since it would cost quite a bit out of pocket to replace the board.
Needless to say, Im very disappointed with this and have no where to turn. I should have bought the extended care even though at the time I hadn't researched enough to realize they are aware of these issues of the NVIDEA 8600 mobile sets randomly failing. I've been a loyal Apple customer all my life, owning many many different models since my first 512K "fat mac" in 1985.
So, be aware. If you own a MacBook Pro at any given time in its life the graphic chip set might fail you and if you are not covered under the extended care (even if the warranty ended a short month and half before it died) you will not get your board replaced.

Graphics chip builder NVIDIA has reported its first quarterly loss in almost five years, writes the Wall Street Journal. The company has taken a net loss of $120.9 million for its second financial quarter, admitting that materials used to package its mobile graphics chips caused unusually high failure rates. Third-party observers have suggested that the company's desktop processors could be affected as well, but this allegation has not been confirmed.
Chip failures could be responsible for an error with Apple's MacBook Pro, in which the display goes black but every other component keeps running.Sorry Dave, have to chime in here as you're very wrong, and BermudaSeal has gone through a lot here and doesn't need to be fed false information, however good the intention.
When the Nvidia cards go wrong, what happens is exactly what BermudaSeal is experiencing, they get reported by the OS as an intel X3100 - which is the core card that forms part of the SR chipset, and coincidentally the graphics card in the MB. Basically the hardware is reporting no external graphics card (the nvidia card), and so assumes that the default one is present. It's a bit like PC motherboads that have built in GPU's, which can be bypased by adding in your own third party part. In this case , the third party part has failed, and unfortunately there is no built in GPU either - hence, black screen.
This is a classic case of a failed NVidia chip, and, depending on the country where Bermuda Seal lives, he/she should be able to get this sorted very swiftly by Apple, as it is a known defect with the hardware that can be proven - BermudaSeal should not have to foot the bill for this - keep trying and refer Apple to the multiple posts on this forum where folks out of warranty have got the issue fixed.
That plus the fact that Bermuda Seal clearly described his machine in the first post - haven't seen many 17" Macbooks around, have you?

TS3274 When I'm in an app, all of a sudden the app closes. This happens no matter what app I'm in.
When I'm in an app or online, all of a sudden my app will close or it takes me offline and goes back to my iPad desktop. What is making this happen?
If rebooting doesn't help - on the off chance that there is some memory issue going on with your iPad - and even though you are not supposed to have to close apps in order to free memory because iOS does this for you - and there are never, ever problems with how iOS handles memory - you could try closing all apps in the recents tray.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Close every app in the recents tray. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Restart the iPad and see if that does anything at all to help.
For Safari issues...
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
When I Use CONTACTS my IPT FREEZES!! Does this happen to you?
So since I've updated my iPod with the new apps, which was SUCH a rip off, my contacts FREEZE all the time! Does this happen to anyone else?

Depending on what that maintenance you're doing, that could be part of the problem. There's a lot of bad advice out there. In particular, cache cleaning actually has a negative impact on performance - caches are for keeping your machine running fast - and hard drive defragmentation is probably more likely to introduce new problems than it is to solve any problems unless you're dealing with very large files that cannot be automatically defragged by the OS. I can hear a person on my mac has this happened to YOU?
Ok this is really strange but 3 days ago I was sitting at my imac typing away in word for mac when all of a sudden I could hear someone (like a but dial on a cell phone) I listened for a bit and started yelling "HELLO" but they could not hear me the only program that was running at the time was finder and word for mac. I called Apple tech and talked to a tech who told me he had never heard of something like this happening before. We were on the phone for about 30 minutes all the while the person I heard was still on my imac. I could hear cars racing by like their window was open and the sound was VERY clear. Funny thing is I live in the country and my road is silent during the day other than the occasional mower noise. I could also tell that they had hardwood floors because every now and again they would walk across the floor and then bang something on a desk or counter or something. I kept hoping the phone would ring so I could hear a voice or name so I could tell them my imac could hear them.. (it was like a baby monitor was built into my mac) ... they never answered the phone as it never rang, but I could hear them turning pages, sighing and breathing....
It was creapy. I called my daughter as she is a mac techy type and let her listen to it and she couldnt figure it out. The Apple guy could hear it but not figure it out. I called a friend who has an imac to see if she had ever experienced this and still no answer. Now today it did it again, and as I am typing this I can hear this person walking around, cars moving by the open window at fast speeds, turning pages, sighing, breathing and banging on a surface of some sort. It has been on today about 4 hours and now is sort of creapy and annoying at the same time. Anyone EVER had anything like this happen? It starts out of the blue and I can reboot and it is still there... but it stops as mysteriously as it started, yet sounds like they may be near a laptop because I hear a click like the top of a laptop being closed then they are gone. WEIRD....
Someone has to have experienced this before, but I have searched the net thinking someone would say something but I find nothing no matter how I word my search.
Anyway, any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Surprisingly the sound was not affected by the volume controls and the weird thing is I even tried playing an Itunes music track to overide the sound that was being made and it was playing but I could not hear it ... it was like this thing just toook over my mac. I could not hear the music and going to youtube same results could see it playing but no sound other than the creapy breathing. -
I tried to reply to an email and could not write a reply in the response box. I could not even attach a file. So I tried opening a new message box and I still could not compose a message. It appears there is an error the coding. Please fix it a soon as possible. This happens to be my lifeline.

I ended up doing some more experimentation and I did fix the bug you pointed out. When this didn't solve the problem I started to look at other files. It turned out that my .bash_aliases file was the real culprit. The offending line was:
alias su='su -l | cd ~/' # invokes a login shell then changes to root's home directory
I fixed the issue by changing that line to read:
alias su='su -l ' # invokes a login shell then changes to root's home directory

Periodically while I'm on the phone I hear what sounds like a "tape rewinding." Both parties are able to hear it when it happens. I have NO idea where this is stemming from... could it be a hardware issue?
