IFS-21000:  Session is not connected or has timed-out

Hi folks,
I am getting the error message "IFS-21000: Session is not
connected or has timed-out" when uploading the following XML
command:
<?xml version = '1.0' standalone = 'yes'?>
<SimpleUser>
<UserName>tuser1</UserName>
<Password>tuser1</Password>
<HasPrimaryUserProfile>TRUE</HasPrimaryUserProfile>
<HasHomeFolder>FALSE</HasHomeFolder>
<HasContentQuota>FALSE</HasContentQuota>
<HasEmail>FALSE</HasEmail>
<PrimaryUserProfileAcl>Protected</PrimaryUserProfileAcl>
</SimpleUser>
Why?

Hi guys,
thanks for the feedback, I did get a response on metalink that
answers my questions. Here it is if you are interested...
An example would something like this.
<?xml version = '1.0' standalone = 'yes'?>
<SimpleUser>
<UserName>fred</UserName>
<Password>fred</Password>
<DirectoryUserAcl reftype="name">Private</DirectoryUserAcl>
<DistinguishedName>fred</DistinguishedName>
<DistinguishedNameSuffix>.fthw.siemens.de</DistinguishedNameSuffi
x>
<EmailAddressSuffix>@fthw.siemens.de</EmailAddressSuffix>
<HasEmail>true</HasEmail>
<EmailUserProfileAcl
reftype="name">Private</EmailUserProfileAcl>
<AdminEnabled>false</AdminEnabled>
<CanChangePassword>true</CanChangePassword>
<HomeFolderRoot>/home</HomeFolderRoot>
<HasHomeFolder>true</HasHomeFolder>
<HomeFolderAcl reftype="name">Private</HomeFolderAcl>
<HasContentQuota>true</HasContentQuota>
<ContentQuotaEnabled>true</ContentQuotaEnabled>
<ContentQuotaAcl reftype="name">Private</ContentQuotaAcl>
<ContentQuotaAllocatedStorage>10000</ContentQuotaAllocatedStorage
>
<HasPrimaryUserProfile>true</HasPrimaryUserProfile>
<PrimaryUserProfileAcl
reftype="name">Private</PrimaryUserProfileAcl>
</SimpleUser>
2. It would depend on the following:
<PrimaryUserProfileAcl
reftype="name">Private</PrimaryUserProfileAcl>
<DefaultAclsBundleName>userAclBundleForClasses</DefaultAclsBundle
Name>
<DefaultAcls>MyAclBundleForClasses</DefaultAcls>
However, there is a problem with current versions (bug1736384,
unpublished) in which you can't use XML to set the default ACL
to an existing property bundle.
According to the bug the workaround is to "use Java or the Admin
utilities tasks
- "CreateDirectoryuser" to create a User
and "CreatePropertybundle" to create a Propertybundle that
represents the defaultACLs
- "CreateUserProfile" and set the DEFAULTACLS attribute to the
bundle ""

    Try a direct download:
    iPod, iPhone and iPad Firmware Download
    Manually install it by holding your "Option" key down when clicking on the "Restore" button in iTunes and select the firmware file you downloaded.

    Disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and update usually resolves the timeout error.

  • I am trying to move a pdf file onto my iPad2, and it says that the device is not connected or has stopped working.  But Windows 7 recognizes the device and I can see my pictures.  Same thing happens when I try to put music onto the iPad.

    I am trying to move a pdf file onto my iPad2, and it says that the device is not connected or has stopped working.  But Windows 7 recognizes the device and I can see my pictures.  Same thing happens when I try to put music onto the iPad.

    When in iTunes on the computer,my our ipadmshould show under devices.
    Click on your ipadmunder devices then go to music at top center of the iTunes window, check what you want to sync for music. You need to set it to a folder if I remember which would have your music in it you want synced.
    Same with PDF files.....there should be an option for data or even PDF files at the top center area of iTunes when the iPad is clicked under devices.
    If your iPad does not show or you cannot click on it under devices which is in the leftane of iTunes, the iPad is not being seen by the computer.
    Try unplugging the USB cord from the laptop then give it a few and see if the computer picks it up.

    Hello,
    As far as I can see, that Verizon Jet Pack wireless Modem uses WPA2 to connect.
    The Router might complicate things right now.

    Is that Interface dragged to the top of Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON?
    The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
    If using Wifi/Airport...
    Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

  • HT1904 Why does every time I try to get a app, free or paid, it will not allowe to purchase or get the app n says my session has timed out????

    How come every time I try to get an app it make me do security questions n at the end no matter what, it tells me my session time has timed out???!

    This is might because of your prior change in softwares. so first you have to do run '''sfc''' in run command. and then you see the specific problem which causes this . Since System File Checker (sfc) scan will make Windows replace corrupt or missing system files on your computer.
    * Click Start>All Programs>Accessories>right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator.
    * Click Continue or supply Administrator credentials if prompted.
    * In the Command Prompt window type the following, and press Enter:
    sfc /scannow

    For some reason this worked for me. I went into my account and changed my first name, maybe it causes itunes to reset. What ever it does my itunes works now.

  • Surfing the web I constantly get a dialog box popping up that says "The connection was rest" or " Server not found" or "The connection has timed out"

    Surfing the web I constantly get a dialog box popping up that says "The connection was rest" or " Server not found" or "The connection has timed out". The panel gives me three possible causes, none of which are correct and tells me to "Try again". Sometimes when I try again the site appears, sometimes it does after several tries and sometimes it never does. I called my IP, Cox and they told me it is a result of something Microsoft put out in their updates to IE (presumably to discourage people from using Firefox). Can you help me get rid of this problem?

    Just confirming, when you have the trouble, the wifi icon is grayed-out or has all bars showing? I believe you are saying that is is grayed-out - not connected to your wireless router.
    I have a Mini that started to lose connection to the Internet after the 10.7.3 update but still showed the wireless as connected. If I pinged the wireless router, I would get a quarter of the packets failing to return. The router was a Netgear that supported 802.11N connections. As a test, I set it to 802.11G (54MBps) maximum and the Mini worked fine for a week - no dropouts. And for the other devices that did support 802.11N, while there was a noticeable delay with downloads and pages loading, they still worked.
    As another test, I changed the Netgear router to a Billion 802.11N model and the Mini has not had a problems since. (It is still using 802.11g). So it could be your router that is causing trouble for your Mac.
    Have a look at some of the More Like This postings in the right column. There has been a number of Mac owners experiencing wifi connection issues and some very good suggestions as to how to resolve their issue.

  • "Could not connect to iTunes store. Your network connection has timed out"

    OK. So my internet is fine as you can tell yet i keep getting the message "iTunes could not connect to iTunes store. Your network connection has timed out".I have tried restarting and the parental control thing as well as the "proxy server" thing, and nothing has worked. I would be very grateful if someone could help me

    I've had the same problem for the last two weeks. Finally resolved the issue in Windows 7.
    Go to start button, control panel, system & security, windows firewall. On the left side of the box click on "advanced settings." On the left side of the box again click on "Inbound Rules." You should be able to see iTunes under the name category. Make sure it has a green check mark next to it. If it does not, then double click on the name. In the "general" box which comes up open, click "Allow the Connection." That worked for me. Somehow itunes was blocked but now I can access the itunes store again.
