Iisproxy header question

We're looking at the HTTP traces of connections through the IISProxy and direct and finding a duplicate date header on proxied requests.
Has anyone else noticed this? The problem we are trying to solve is intermittent failures at a client company that uses a transparent proxy/filter device. The only difference in the traces is this extra header field.
Here's an example:

No, there's not. Emails are 'sent' by the SMTP server, not by the mail client. So, the header originates with the server. The iPhone only sends plain text emails, whereas Outlook usually uses RTF or HTML for newly-composed mails - so, that's a clue. But, it's certainly not definitive.

Bone head question:reformatting startup disk

I know it a bone head question but I need to reformate my current startup disk.
I have pleanty of space on other disks. do I just transfer all info to another disk and select that one as start up and then reformate and transfer back etc... or what?

If you have a spare drive which doesn't currently have Mac OS X installed, use an application such as this one to clone your current drive to it, restart from the clone or another drive, and erase the startup disk.
If not or if you don't want to clone the whole drive, copy anything off of it you want, erase the current drive, and then copy your data back after setting it up again.

Repeating Header question

XMLP 5.5 Standalone
Learning the ropes with XMLP, the provided samples are a very good, illustrative starting point. One thing I wonder:
In the rtf_templates/advanced/RepeatHeader example, I found you can use
<?for-each@section:G_CUSTOMER?>
to do the magic, where G_CUSTOMER points to an existing group in the loaded XML data.
I tried to apply a repeating header to another example, rtf_templates/sales_reports/retail_sales.rtf
Here the xml-data is not grouped (simply starts with ROW and then the details). I however (soft)-grouped the data within the report by Year, resulting in:
<?for-each-group:ROW;./YEAR?><?sort:YEAR;'descending';data-type='number'?>
But I couldn't make out the syntax to use this group in the for-each@section command. Is this possible at all, or can you only address 'real groups' which have to be present in the XML data file?

Nice question, this is possible with a current caveat. You can not use a sort option on the group in your template.
So you would have :
<?for-each-group@section:ROW;./YEAR?>
we found the sorting issue while testing your question. IT will be addressed in the next release. But you can live without the sorting in the template then you can do what you asked.

Row break + column header Question

I've got two question i can't find out by myself.
Question 1:
I use a row break on the first column of my report. That workd correctly. But how do i get a line or a empety row after the break? I prefer a line...
Question 2:
I want to have an extra header above some columns. how to create that. A example:
extra header 1 extra header 2
column1 column2 column3 column4 column5 column6 column7

For your second question, you could create a custom template and put in the additional headers in there, under the 'Before Column Heading' section. I have done this with one of my reports where I simply copied the standard template and changed it to include the header information. This is an example of what I have in the Before Column Heading section for my custom template.

Fan Header Question

I have a quick question about the cpu & system fan headers on a K8N Neo2 Platinum mobo.
Does anyone happen to know what the max suggested amperage draw on these is?
I would like to use a thermaltake venus 12 HSF, but now that I have it in my hot little hands, I see that the fan on it draws .45 amps & and the power connector is a molex.
The molex is easy to change to a 3pin, but I want to be sure the mobo & fan header can handle the load.

I would keep that puppy hooked up directly to the power supply. It is much better for board stability.

Another Dynamic header question, but this one is tricky. help!

I have a prompt that has values like
Version1
Version2
Version3
Depending on the version selected, two general value columns called VALUE1 and VALUE2 need to have their headers changed.
for example, if Version1 is selected then Value1 column heading should be Budget and Value2 heading should be Forecast.
How can i achieve this? It seems a repository variable will not work. Also, I tried using one prompt based on another prompt but got stuck.

You can do this
prompt based on other prompt and writing a case statement
Create a pv for pmt1 and write a case statement for prompt2 passing the variable from first prompt
case when '@{pv1}'='version1; then 'budget'... to the second pmt(pv2)
once done, on the dashboard page edit the dashboard properties and we can put this second pmt as a dashboard filter and save the dashboard page
now on the report column header use '@{pv2}' .Thats it.
It should work.I have done this already!!

AC Power cord with duck head question, difference?

Just never understood, you've got the white square with the cord that goes to the MBP (which has the light on it), then you get the extra "duck head" cord. Is there a reason to use it other than just extending the reach of your power cable? What is the purpose of three plug cord vs just the two prong attachment on the white block? Is it to ground? I only use the white brick with cord into a surge protector (that is grounded). Just curious as to the reasoning....

Based on experience, I use the 3-prong cord all the time. The reason is that I used to leave the 2-prong hinged duckhead attached, and what happened is that the prong hinge inside wore out and started arcing and failing, and eventually died in hazy smoke and brown scorched plastic. Another duckhead I had for an old iPod USB adapter was so intermittent you had to have it just so or the charge light would not come on, and it was out of warranty so Apple wouldn't replace it. HTTP header question

I have a servlet app that works with HTML pages. Right now the login page which is post, gets cached in the browser so backing up can cause a re-login, after logout.
What HTTP header command can prevent this from being cached (in Netscape and IE, various versions)?
Any help appreciated.

Simple Header Question

Hi guys
I have a dynamic PDF form, which is 3 pages long.
At the top of each page are text fields for the first and last name, along with the date.
I'm wondering how I can allow these fields to be filled out only once, and display correctly at the top of each page of the form.

Flash header question

Hi, Ive been doing Photoshop work for some time and am now looking into doing some flash for my website. If you look at my header on my site http://www.monsterfishing.co.uk it is a Jpeg at the momment for the title. What I want to know is that if i replace the header with flash is there away that I can add code so that if someone has a low bandwidth connection it would not load the flash and use the Jpeg image instead. The reason being is I know how bad it is waiting for flash to load on some websites when bandwidth is limited and it would be good to give people the option upon loading. Any Ideas?

I am speaking out of my league, but if there is a way of detecting bandwidth of a user, it is not likely built into Flash or HTML to be able to detect that. You would probably need to use some server side scripting to test the connection speed.
Flash content can be very efficiently designed, to the point of even carrying less weight than a jpeg file... it all depends what you want to put into it. Too many people get carried away adding things into the file that could be better added dynamically or not used at all. Flash files tend to blow up when you add images and sounds and videos into them. Otherwise they are usually very light loads.

Cfdocoument with a header question

When using cfdocument and cfdocumentitem type header, there
is about and inch of white space between the header and the body.
If I make the topmargin smaller the header is scaled to fit and
still leaves the inch of white space. I've tried many different
padding and margin attributes for the body and tables but it
doesn't change the space between the header and the body.
Does anyone know how to remove the white space?

IISProxy Idempotent question

We are using the WL IIS 5.1 Plugin and have set Idempotent=off HungServerRecoverSecs=60,
ConnectTimeoutSecs=8 and ConnectRetrrySecs=2 in the IISProxy.ini file.
My understanding is that if a servlet response is not recieved within 60 secs
as in our case, the request will timeout and not failover to the other server
in the cluster. However, does the IIS plugin keep trying to execute the same request
on the same server based on the ConnectionRetrySecs property or is the request
aborted after the 60 sec timeout?

MSI P67A-GD65 JCOM1 header question

Hello all, Recently my powersupply had died on me, I replaced it with exactly the same one, only now my Power&reset buttons no-longer work. Headers have been left alone, my power and activity LED lights are still on but the power switch itself no longer works. Is it possible that these pins may have gotten damaged or fried from my fault PSU? I'd like to be able to close my case up and not have to re-open it when I want to turn on my pc!

What does JCOM1 (Serial port) header have to do with PSU & power/re-set switches? Is that what you have the front panel switches plugged into? If so then plug them them into JFP1 & JFP2 which is where FP switches, LED's and case speaker plug into.

Report sort by column header question

the column sort in a standard report (RP or Q) does sort the lower case values at the end of the alphabet; how can I integrate the lower case values in to the regular sequence of the alpha letters ?
Example of desc order: it starts with lower case :

- as I cannot influence the Sorting of the inbuilt sort mechanism - how can I manage to integrate e.g. dpa (*) between Echo and Dora Co. ?

use the INITCAP() function for that column (a). Fetch the same column once again without
using the INITCAP function and hide it (b). In the properties of the column a ==> HTML
Expression enter #b# in order to display column b. This way the column will display the text
as is (b) but sort on capital initial letters (a).
However, using a standard report doesn't allow any modification of the columns within the
query. There, you would need a view to query upon. Or you just use a "normal" report.

Quiz questions will not retain format when question is changed.

OK forum folks. I'm working on my first e-learning project and have ran into a problem with question formating. The instructions/help basically tell you to click here and click there. I can easily figure that out. The questions I seem to have are quite a bit deeper.
I have a predefined template which is company approved. I have created master slides in the question pool for both a 4 item match and a 5 item match (I have found if I add a line to the 4 matching line quiz the line spacing and formatting changes). The placeholder questions are essentially non-questions.
I duplicate the master slide in the question pool to maintain the original format (spacing, location, etc.).
I change the placeholder questions on the duplicated slide to the real question (slide is still in the slide pool)
The formatting (font, spacing, locations, etc.) change on the new (edited) questions and require reformatting.I have also tried copying the master question slide to the filmstrip and editing the copied slide questions in the filmstrip. I receive the same results.
Is there are way I can create masters in the current format so I can use the approved templates, edit the questions and not have to reformat the slide after the questions have been changed?
Also, is there a way to lock the formatting of the questions? If I want to add/delete a new question or line to the slide, it would be great to be able to not have to reformat the slide for the change.

I am trying to deal with the same issue. The master slides are more about background elements and navigation buttons, but they do not seem to allow for the addition of quiz elements.
I have come up with a workaround that I hope will work. What I am doing is creating a new project that becomes my quiz question layout library (Let's call this Project 2). In this project I add the various types of questions I will be using in my project (multiple choice with three choices, multiple choice with five, true/false, etc...). I get all the quiz elements in place for each type of question (the header, question, submit/clear buttons, review area, etc...).
These slides serve as my Master slides for my actual project (Project 1). I can copy and paste the appropriate layout from Project 2 to Project 1 and then change the questions themselves.
I am sure I will find out the downside of this soon enough...
There is no doubt the creation of masters for quiz questions needs work, actually it needs just to exist!
