Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

Not receiving icloud verification email, have checked spam etc..phone is just saying account not verified, the address was linked to my husbands account but has been removed.

If i change to an old address it works fine but all my apple equipment uses a current googlemail address and dont want numerous ids
My itunes account/icloud account only shows this address, albeit on icloud its not verified
My husbands accounts dont have this address anywhere

All...sorted so thought i owed it to you all to update...
As suggested on numerous sites it was in my spam folder....but because i am using googlemail it was in the Googlemail Spam on my phone and online google account, the spam wasnt getting to my outlook account (where i was looking for it!!!)
As soon as i opened it there they were all 38 verification emails !!!!!

ICloud, Settings greyed out - screen that says 'Account not Verified'

Hello, I upgraded my iPhone with latest OS and didn't setup my iCloud upon activation. Now when I go to my Settings and go to iCloud, I get a greyed out screen that says 'Account not Verified' 'Check your email for instructions', but none come??? Can someone tell me how to get it activated any other way?

How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.

You only have the option if you are already running iOS 5. If you are trying to update the iOS, you have to use iTunes on a computer to update the iPad.

Okay..I've been trying to fix this for DAYS now! When I sign in (under settings) w my new apple ID, then go to update or purchase something I cannot get the new apple ID to come up. It's still using the old one (which is disabled) ..please help!

Delete what? The ID's? They cannot be deleted - you just quit using it.
If you still have one old ID - that you have purchased content with - you are saying that the password no longer works with that ID? Did you try to reset the password for that ID?
Read this - instructions if the ID was disabled for entering the wrong password.

Check yor email associated with apple id there should be a verification email
click on the link 'Verify Now'

I just downloaded the os6 and i also just tried to do the updates with icloud. but now it keeps telling me could not verify the account, to check my email for instructions. i check the email, had to reset my password and then nothing, can't get the account verified...someone please help

Log onto http://appleid.apple.com and Click teh Send Verification email again.

Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. Can't sign into icloud, says account not verified

Ipod has been stolen, this morning have 4 emails from apple asking to verify account and one from icloud saying it was used to sign in on an iphone 4 which we don't have one of. Went to go onto icloud to see if can locate ipod but icloud says account is not verified. Not understanding that seem got message from iclouc saying account was used this morning.????

It appears as though your Apple ID, and through it your iCloud account, has been compromised. I would suggest that you change the password to that Apple ID as soon as you can. See this article for how to do so -

Check your junk mail folder.
Go back to id.apple.com, and choose manage, enter your appleID and password. It will take you to a page where your account info is displayed, and there should be a link to resend the verification email.
