Image Display Problems

I have been playing around with Mobile Studio, and I am currently trying to display a simple logo. I have a file named logo with each extension (.gif, .bmp, and a .wbmp) in the images directory. My code is as follows:

Based on the limited information, I cannot figure it out for this issue. As per my understanding, I think this issue can be caused by the browser that run the report manager. If you use IE explorer to render the report, I suggest that you can try to run
it in compatibility mode. If you are using another browser, I recommend that you should use IE explorer to render the report to check the issue again.
If this issue still exists, in order to solve the problem more efficiently, I need to clarify some information.
Are all reports with indicator image cannot render well in DEV report manager? Or just this one report?
What is the phenomenon about the indicator image display problem? Could you please post a screenshot about this?
It is benefit for us to do further analysis. Thank you for your understanding.

How to solve the image display problem in the iTunes Store

Hi guys!
I just want to give a work-around for all of you having the image display problem in the iTunes Store. In my case only the square images in the slider sections won't load:
I had this in my last W7-installation and got it again in W8 after the first few weeks.
There are a lot of reports about this problem out there and adhoc solutions like 'clear the cache' or 'reinstall and drink ice tea' that do not work. It is obviously a file request error. It is all about finding out which server addresses get blocked by your computer.
Solution: Go to your firewall and your Anti-virus-program. There must be a whitelist option. In Kaspersky, check the web-options, the banner-options and the firewall-options, because the all have whitelists. The following addresses have to be whitelisted:

*.mzstatic.apple.com.akadns.net
*.mzstatic.com.edgesuite.net

*.itunes.apple.com
se.itunes.apple.com

Press Ctrl + R in the iTunes Shop then and browse throught the music sections. All images should be displayed correctly now.
If not, there might be more Apple servers involved in your case. You can find them by running a DNS sniffing tool like the DNS query sniffer by Nirsoft or Wireshark.

Phone restarting randomly could be loose battery. Tighten by putting a small strip of electrical tape on the back edge.

Table layout and image display problems

Im having a few problems at the moment, designing a layout
using tables. I need to have 3 seperate tables, 1 for the left
side, 1 for middle and 1 for the right. However I can only get the
left and middle table on the same row, after that the right table
jumps down to the next row.
My second problem is with some images displaying in the
preview. 3 images wont display, they are the same extension (.jpg),
in the same folder as the rest but unlike the others wont display.
I can swap them out for other images which display fine so I cant
understand why they arent showing.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Use a three column, 1 row table, and put one of your tables
into each of the
three cells.

Photoshop image display problems

I've recently installed Photoshop CS5 extended on my new comp
It was working fine, but when following a tutorial to make rust or metal it starts having issues.
As you can see below the noise in the left hand picture worksfine, but in the right when applying motion blue I get a fuzzy line down the middle, and occasional a sort of beveled effect around the image.
If I drop the motion blur to a low count it's ok, it's when I start upping the amount.
When I first loaded up photoshop it did say it had an issue with my monitor settup which I have recently sorted but the problem still remains.
My only guess is that I have not set the program up correctly.

Can you please share more of the details about what you're doing to the image? I don't doubt it's producing results other than what you expect, but a good first step to understanding a problem (and whether it's the same everywhere) is to try to reproduce it exactly.
To me that looks like just what you would expect from Motion Blur, especially when you turn up the Distance amount up high. Motion Blur has to do special things, as you can imagine, at the edges since if you start with an image that's equal to the canvas size there are no pixels beyond the edges of the canvas to use to participate in the blur.
You *could* create an image with noise that's larger than needed to start with, and which extends beyond the edges of the canvas. That would fix what you're seeing.

when i open any image in photoshop,its looks like washout but it looks fine in windows image viewer

that is most likely from where i sit...maybe if the OP included the profile in his screenshot (instead of Doc info) it would be easier to shed light on the problem
Windows apps likely send untagged/unmanaged RGB straight through to the monitor unaltered (just like they do on the Mac)
that should be easy to observe displaying one of the extreme colorspaces like ProphotoRGB or WhackedRGB images (or even with a sRGB document if one knows what to look for)
whereas -- when we don't use the embedded profile or don't color manage the RGB document in Photoshop -- Photoshop Assigns (for all practical purposes) its working RGB, then Converts it to the monitor profile...

Image Display Problem while exporting jasper report in EXCEL

I am using Jasper reports for my reporting work using java code.
when i export my report in PDF then , report is ok and displaying Image properly.
but when i export my report in EXCEL then , there is no image in my report, rest part is fine.
Can anyone please help me in getting image in excel format also.

Email images display problem

I have a problem with email attached images.. When I open the email it's all appearing fine but after few seconds the page gets begger and only half of it appears and I can't see the other half no matter how much I scroll.. I'm om ios5.0.1 now but I've been having the same problem even with ios4.. Can you help me please!! Thank you..

Image display problem

Dear all,
I have problem in adding scroll pane to an image.
There are two JPanels and one is with Grid Layout and another with default Layout. The Panel with grid layout consists of three buttons and one JTextArea. JTextArea has been given scrollpane. this panel is working fine.
In the other Panel , there are two JTextAreas and one JLabel with Imageicon attched to it.
I want to display an image ( a small (12X12) or big (800X600) pixel resolution in this Label. When i try to display an 800X600 res. image in this label the image is overlapping all the other components in this Jpanel. The small image is working fine on display . I used viewport to set new Dimensions , but it is not working. scroll pane is also invisible.
How to display a big image in a small( with given height,width) viewport with scrollpane attched to it in this panel?
The sample code is as under. The one.jpg is an 800by600 res. image.

Your problems have nothing to do with Images per se. I think you just
need to understand layout managers better. For example, you are
doing things like this:
j1.add(sp1, BorderLayout.CENTER);
j2.add(sp2, BorderLayout.CENTER);
j2.add(sp3, BorderLayout.CENTER);Even though JPanels j1 and j2 aren't using a BorderLayout.
(and even if j2 were using a BorderLayout, you can't add 2 components
to the center of one!) (The default layout in a JPanel is FlowLayout, by the way.)

Background image display problem in IE6

I'm having another problem with my CSS. This one involves some background images not displaying properly in IE6. My navbar is an unordered list, and I'm using an image replacement technique to swap out the text for background images that serve as the buttons. The height of each button is 12 pixels, and the rollover is created by offsetting the image -12 pixels to reveal the bottom half of the image. So far so good. The images appear in all browsers, but IE6 displays more than 12 pixels of the image, revealing part of the rollover below it.

The <ul> height and image height are set to 12 pixels. I can't figure out why IE6 has a problem with the CSS. Maybe there's an IE6 hack I can use? Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't have a chance to work through the whole problem, but I believe that the font size of your "off-screen" menu text is pushing down the size of your ul and your li, as I see "overflow" outlines on that specific div.
Try giving those items #header h1 a, specifically, a smaller defined font size.
Alternatively, try applying an "overflow: hidden;" to the hover definition.

Spry image display problem

I have a spry data set that I've created with cs4.
SO the idea is I have an xml with an image field which I
constrain to a particular size and turn into thumbnails and then
when you click on the thumbnail it displays the full article.
My problem is I cannot figure out how to get the thumbnails
to display in a horizontal line. Right now they go one on top of
the next. I tried many css combinations however I think the spry is
putting one instance on each line so the css isn't having an effect
in the way I want.
Thanks for your help, all I want to do is have the images
show up next to each other.

Jason, the best place for us to analyze your files is from a server. Have you uploaded them?
The second best place is in a set of site files...including the HTML table, the display file that uses the HTML table, the CSS and javascript file.
Without those, it is pretty nigh impossible to work this problem!
I suspect the errant character appears somewhere in your data table, but based on what you have shown us, it's hard to say.
When you defined the dataset, did you indicate that the column containing the images is type="HTML"? If you have left it as type="string", it is interpreting the > as text.

Gif image display problem

I can't get QuickTime to display gif images from the web. It will show the same gif file on my local machine, but if I put it on the web it will no longer display. My web browser shows that the url is valid, and will display the gif image. But QuickTime returns a "Error 47: Invalid URL" I have tried multiple computers, and have the same problem.

First.
You don't need a browser plug-in to display a .gif file and you really don't want to use QuickTime plug-in to display them.
If you can view the .gif in a blank browser window (all by itself) copy that URL.
Open QuickTime Player and Control-U. Paste the URL and see what happens.

It is a .png file file but any image format could be used. Copy the URL and test to see how it works.

SPRY image display problem with data sets! "

Dreamweaver CS4
I really want to use a Spry Data set created with an HTML table (versus XML)
I've done this step by step several times(after changing local sites and images) and every time I preview the results, each one of my images has a "> in front of it.
I don't know how to get rid of this "> character!
I've provided two HTML files used to create this:
TABLE.html is the source
SpryTable.html is the actual file pulling TABLE.html for data
The images are images, I'm not going to provide them since anyone can add a random image just to see if the "> appears.
I'm not going to include the java files since dreamweaver generates them on their own.

Image display problem in DW CS3

I can't get my images to display in design view. They also
fail to appear in a browser preview. If I push the files out to the
remote server, however, they appear just fine. My links are all
fine. What did I miss?
