IMAGE IN ALV CELL

Hi Guys,
I have inserted image element as cell editor in alv column. But image is not coming. Check the below code and let me know where i did mistake.
     DATA: LR_IMG3 TYPE REF TO CL_SALV_WD_UIE_IMAGE.
    DATA: LO_COLUMN3 TYPE REF TO CL_SALV_WD_COLUMN.
    LO_COLUMN3 = LO_VALUE->IF_SALV_WD_COLUMN_SETTINGS~GET_COLUMN( 'PINFO' ).

And what parameter i should pass to set_height_fieldname. ? I tried with 20px also, error saying 20px unknown.

How can I insert an image into a cell in Numbers for iPad?

Hi,
is there any way to insert an image inside a cell using Numbers for iPad? I tried doing it on desktop version and it works, then I shared it through iwork.com and downloaded into my iPad and it's showing fine on the iPad ( although there's no way to edit or change the image inside the cell ) but when I try to do the same task on iPad itself, the image always comes floating even if I place the cursor inside a cell before inserting.
any idea how to do it or if it's even possible?

Images can be added to cells only as "image fill." Cell fill is an attribute of the cell, not content of the cell. Only cell content can be retrieved by a formula or by copying the content of the cell.
Copying the cell will also copy its format, including the image fill, but I've found no way to extract the image from the cell.

What's the best way to place images in table cells?

I'm working on a basic tooling catalog/list using a table for all of the information. One of the columns is for an image of the tool. Is there a way to place each image in a cell and have it resized to fit the cell dimensions (including my text inset settings)? I'm using CS4 and the images are all tiff files, although I also have psd files of each. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Table cells don't adjust automatically except in the vertical direction when set to "at least" some dimension, and I suspect you don't really want that anyway. Keep in mind that column width is constant through the whole table, so fitting the cell to the largest image is going to give you a giant coumn width that isn't used for smaller product shots in the same table.
What about making an image frame the size you want, and setting the fitting options to fit proportionally? Copy that frame and paste into the cell, then place the image in the frame.

I need to create excel worksheet and embed an image in a cell. After looking at the POI javadoc and examples, I cannot figure out how to embed the image in a cell, only in the sheet. Does POI support this? I have also been looking a using Jexcel and would like to know if Jexcel supports this? If anyone has answers, please provide code examples.

First copy all your images into "project/src/mimes/components/<packagename>"
1) First create a new column for image and insert Child "Image" UI Element
2) Create a Context in a view in which you are using Image UI Element
3) Value Node
Name : Image
Cardidality : 1..1
4) create 2 Value Attributes
4)a ImageAlt (Calculate property - true)
4)b ImageSrc (Calculate property - true)
5)Bind the properties of Image
alt - Image.ImageAlt
source - Image.ImageSrc
6) in getImageSrc()
//according to your condition use your image

7) in getImageAlt()
return "Image Not Available"
Case 2 :
1) Add a new String attribute to your existing context
2) Right click on your table in RootUIElememntContainer
3) Edit Sturcture Binding
4) Select the context which you modified , Select next
5) in the next step for the newly created attribute select imageUIElement as type
If you want to use that in wdDoinit()
bind the two string value attributes to alt and source properties of ImageUIElement and write the following code
in doinit

Insert shape over image in table cell

Want to use circles, ovals, lines with arrows to point to some part (text or image) of a cell in a table.
Need to emphasize certain areas of graphics in a document used as a step by step type document.
If I add the shape outside the table and then try to drag/drop on to the image in the cell, the entire cell jumps to a new empty cell.
Can nod get image to appear over the image in the table cell.

Based on condition how can i add image to Table cell.

Its very simple and straightforward.
All you need to do is:
1...Create a context(value attribute) of type string.
2...I am assuming that you have created a table, and mapped its columns with a node.
3...In the TableCellEditor of your desired column, map the above context with the imagesource property.
4...In the code, set the value of this context to the image name(eg: abc.gif), on satisfying of a condition.
5...However, keep in mind to set the context value to some default blank image in the doinit() of the view, else, you will get a null pointer exception.
I hope this solves your problem.

Moving images within Book cells?

Is there a way to position images within the book template cells? Understanding that the cells are fixed is there a way to move an image around within those boundaries? It appears when I resize an image within the cell it does so uniformly and from the center and is locked there. Am I missing something? We should be able to position the image inside the borders.

when I do not zoom-to-fill my usual 3:2-ratio images get positioned in the middle of a book cell.
Then I can drag them ad libitum to the right or left within that cell.
When zoomed you can still drag the exact portion shown around within the cell.
But that is the only tiny bit of freedom I have discovered so far, with these non-modifiable templates of LR4b#1.
Cell padding is uniformly from each end.
I just hope that general feedback had been drastic enough so that Adobe will soon release LR4b#2 with modifiable templates / page sizes / cell sizes / image borders / text boxes etc.
Otherwise they might not receive much more feedback about the book module. I won't cash out for a book design that does not suit me, so no experiences with upload/export and the rest.

I don't understand very well what you want, but to record and image (get and snapshot) you have to create an Player, realize the player, start it and then get the snapshot. ex:

Mac Wizards! Stuck importing multiple images into individual cells...

Hi folks,
I'm new to the Mac (yeah!) and imagine there just has to be a way to import a bunch of images into separate cells in Mac "Numbers" ... am I right?
Essentially what I'd like to do is a file folder with 600 images in it, and import those directly into Mac Numbers with one picture being assigned to it's own cell. So if below were a spreadsheet it would look like this:
Actual Picture - Picture Name - Item Description ... and so on.
I'm trying to work with inventory items, and this is the only way I can think of doing it. Suggestions!?!?

There is no macro feature in Numbers.
The only way to code what you wish would be to use AppleScript if Numbers '08 was scriptable.
As it's not, you must do the job by hand or switch to Numbers '09 which is scriptable.

Problem in adding image in jtable cells

hi all.
im creating a swing application using netbeans 6.0.
i want to display image in cells of one column.
for that i set an "image icon" directly to that cell in the "default table model", in that case it is displaying the path of that image in that cell!
then i created a new label, and set the image as icon of that label. added that label in that cell. in this case it is printing label.tostring() to that cell!!
please help.

You need to override getColumnClass to return Icon.class for the column containing the icon. A code snippet that demonstrates how you might do this:      table = new JTable (new DefaultTableModel (data, colNames) {
