  • HTML, images, links in email signatures

I am trying to add hyperlinks to website addresses inside my email signature.
I am also trying to add a Skype status button to my email signature. You can see the code it generates from this page:
    http://www.skype.com/share/buttons/wizard.html
I have read older guides on how to create webarchives via BBEdit and Safari. I tried that but did not have success with the image showing up and the hyperlinks I added in did not work.
Is there an updated tutorial for editing signatures in html for Leopard?
    I am using Mail 3.0

This is how I've found a way of doing:
Go to home/library/mail/signatures select all the files in there
Go to preferences in Mail and create a new signature
In the home/library/mail/signatures you will see a new file *.webarchive
Open your html signature with Safari
Go to File/Save as ... Save as over the new *.webarchive choosing webarchive for the format
Restart Apple mail if you need to
(for the images you will need to have them posted on a server)

    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load
    * You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
    * You can see all exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
    * You can check the Tools > Page Info > Media tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
    * Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
    * Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
    * Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
    * Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
    * Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
    * If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

  • Image Links To Other Sites

I have designed a website in DW CS3 and i wanted to make some
of my images link to other external sites......however when write
the link address in and upload the info then try the link it always
comes back with a blank web page with - cannot find URL - on
it...... any ideas, its really annoying me now. i'm not writing in
    css. cheers

As tweaked suggests, the links to external sites should look
    like this -
    <a href="
    http://www.example.com/thepage.html''....
A valid external link must specify the protocol and the
    domain.

  • Why do image links in my HTML signature get turned into inline images?

I have written a program to create HTML signature files for email programs at my workplace.
The signature file uses URLs to images hosted on a server. This appears to work fine, but I've noticed that when I send an email from Icedove (Thunderbird rebadged for Debian), the image links automatically get turned into attachments. These are then visible as base64-encoded MIME blocks in the email source.
I cannot find any option for altering this behaviour anywhere in the application, even in the Config Editor.
Can anybody advise me how to change this behaviour? Thanks in advance.
I am running Icedove v.17 for Debian 64 bit.

By default Thunderbird attaches all images, even if the &lt;img&gt; element points to a remote resource. Most e-mail clients block remote content these days unless the user authorizes it (see [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/991448 this thread] for an in-depth discussion) due to potential privacy/tracking issues. Thus, the image your are adding as a remote resource may not display the first time the recipient opens the message.
If you want to change your code respectively anyway, have a look at [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_complex_mails_with_inline_images#Remote_images this article]. You'll have to add an attribute &lt;img '''moz-do-not-send="true"'''&gt; to the element which will Tell Thunderbird to ''not'' download the image from the server and embedding it into the message on sending.

  • ITunes Store image links do not display - previews & purchases do not work

    PLEASE HELP!
Below are the images of what I am seeing.
And I promise you I have really made an effort to research and try to resolve this without success. I have even run iTunes on a completely seperate computer and a different login (both OS user login and iTunes store login) and have the exact same issue.
I have reinstalled with a reboot (several attempts), performed a winsock reset, followed procedures in TS4123 for LSP conflicts, I have cleared my cache, I have checked for Firewall issues, I have restarted my cable modem, I have copied iTunes store links to a browser to check that images are displaying - nothing resolves this problem.
Email support has only recommended what is already posted in communities forum and on the knowledge base.
I have seen that in past there have been posts related to this specific issue but were not answered (for what I found). It seems that unless you are having a complete white screen when accessing the iTunes store that there is no solution for a problem like mine??
Also only "Ping" will display all images for image links.
Thanks in advance for any help / feedback!
    and
    * .... I should reiterate that I can not make any purchases, save to wish list, watch or listen to previews.

    Update:
Still trying to resolve this problem (been working on it for the better part of 2 days now)
    KB - TS1379  ( http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1379 )  Also does not resolve this issue...
    Still need help please.

  • Share Image,Link and Text to Social Networking App from My Windows Phone App

    Hi,
I am developing windows phone 8.1 silverlight app where I want to share Images,Links and text to Social Networking App Like Facebook,Twitter,Whatsapp and Instragram.
In Share content contains A Image of App Icon, A Link of App website and I invitation Text.
    There are Five buttons
    Share by Email
    Share by Facebook
    Share by Twitter
    Share by Whatsapp
    Share by Instragram
    Problems which I faced
I can not attached image to Email. How it is Possible.?
I can only open whatsapp from my App. But can not share to this
I have used Share task but in list of app there is no whatsapp and instragram app ( I know there is no official app for instragram but it is Instragram Beta app)
Please guide me how can I share my content to all above app

    Please see this sample application:
    https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/Sharing-Content-Source-App-d9bffd84
You cannot control what appears in the share UI.  The Share UI Will show all applications that have registered to receive the type of content you are sharing.  So if a particular application is not appearing, then it is not registered as a Share
    target for that content type.
I would run the sample on your phone for the various content types.  it should give you a good idea of which apps are registered for which content type.

  • Display Base64Encoder string(barcode) as image in jsp/email

    Hi,
I am trying to display the barcode image in jsp from the Base64Encoder encoded string.
Earlier i tried to set the output stream of barcode image in the response of the HttpServlet. However, this is not working when i view in the mobile device android/iphone.
Now when i use this Base64Encoder, the string which i am passing to the email template(jsp page), i cant able to view the image when i view in the email(outlook).
But when open this outlook content(.mht) in browser(IE 8), able to see the image. Also when forward this email to the android/iphone mobile device, able to see the image.
The barcode image is not displayed only when i open the email directly in the outlook/browser.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

    Hi Gopi,
    Thanks for your reply.
when i open the email in outlook, i am getting 'If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view in a web browser'. So when i view in browser(IE) on clikc of this link, the email opened from the temporary internet files(AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\54AMMRVF\email (4).mht)
Here i am able to see the image.
Suppose if i forward this email to my gmail and opening in a browser, this time i cant see the image. i am getting only the blank space there.

  • Border on image links

    DW CS3
How can I get DWCS3 to stop automatically placing a border on

DWMX automatically assigned a border=0 to each image link but

You could copy the images link from the pages code and link it to your html email:

  • How do I insert an image within an email message, instead of attaching it?

I'm always receiving emails with images right in the email message but when I send an image with an email message I always have to send it as an attachment because I don't know how to put the image right in the email message.

That's how DW was designed initially and, for standard websites, that works very well. Unfortunately DW has never been great for email newsletters and its handling of external image links has always been spotty to bad depending on what you're doing.
For html emails, I normally work with local versions of the images until it's time to "go live", then I swap out the image sources from local to the ones on the server as the last step from Code View.
It's not ideal, but it works better than trying to get the http links to display the images correctly without opening/closing the file or program repeatedly.

  • Absolute image links in Contribute/Dreamweaver

Can anyone tell me how to force Contribute to make all the
    image links absolute (i.e.
    http://www.adobe.com/images/sampleimage.jpg)
    in Dreamweaver.
I want to send out html emails and I spec out absolute links
in Dreamweaver but when I edit the html document in Contribute, the
    links get changed to relative.
HTML emails need absolute paths. I've read that Contribute
fixed this in CS3 but I just bought Contribute the other day and my
    links keep switching back.
    HELP!?!?!?!
    Thanks in advance!
    Rodney

How will you send the emails? Will you use an email-client on
    the client-side or create a server-side solution?
    Server-side:
I solved this Contribute problem by using PHP and
    str_replace.
    $strMessageStrip = $_POST['message'];
    $strMessageStrip2 = str_replace("../", "
    http://www.yourdomain.com/",
    $strMessageStrip);
    $strMessageStrip3 = str_replace("../images/", "
    http://www.yourdomain.com/images/",
    $strMessageStrip2);
    etc...
    Client-side:
The only solution I can think of is creating Editable regions
for the text and use default image positions outside the editable
regions and let your client change the images by putting new images
on the server with the same name as the old ones.

I have stripped the html email down to the bare minimum but still happens. Same mail works fine on some phones/ipads. Any thoughts much appreciated.

I have the same problem. iPhone 4 is on iOS 5.1 (9B176) and iPad 2 on iOS 5.1 (9B176). I have seen someone with an iPhone 4S that apparently did not have that problem (there the menu also has an "open" option). Also I noticed that if you touch the icon before the image has finished loading (so with a very large image), it actually does open the URL, but once the image has been loaded, it assumes that you want to save or copy the image.
