Image Map to Launch an Application...

Question

I have an image with a rectangular image map defined. I want
it to open an application, but I don't know the code to do this. My
first attempt was to simply create the hyperlink to the EXE file
like this:
<area shape="rect" coords="183,271,474,478"
href="file:///C:/Program%20Files/BlahBlah/Blah.exe">
Doesn't work. Nothing happens when I click the hotspot in
test. Any ideas?

Think of what would happen if someone links to "format c:" or
something
like that - you get the idea. Since IE allows all kinds of
insecure
stuff, you can most likely do such things with an ActiveX
control.
