Image Saver

Hello Everyone !
I am trying to work with Image Saver. I tried rest of the actions like HTML, XML and Text Loader and saver. But facing problem in Image Saver action. What should be the  value for "Encoded Image" proprerty of it ?
I want a .png file to be saved on server. What I must pass to get this done ???
Thanks....

Vibhav,
If you are using mii image then in Image Loader Action block pass
URL := db://<your file path>
hint: drag and drop any image file in your bls and note down the path.
If you are using web url then pass url
URL := http://<image path>
after this map the encodedImage output of ImageLoader Action block to input of Image SaverAction block
Thanks.

  • I LOVE IMAGE SAVER 7 AND IT IS ON MY FIREFOX BUT THE ADDONS SECTION DOES NOT RECOGNIZE IT.

I downloaded image saver 7 from your site a while back. I believe it was an experimental addon. And I really like it. It allows you to download pictures and it can be a toolbar or buttons. The person who is listed is the [email protected] and the addon was dated 1/6/2011. Please if you can have it added back on I would appreciate it and get it updated asap. Thank you! Sue Thoman

Image Saver 7 is the best Addon ever!! But isn´t compatible with Firefox 6. And was deleted... Please IMAGE SAVER 7 come back, the others addons sucks!! HEEELP!!

  • Extract part of image & save with transparent background

What is the best way to extract part of an image & save it with a transparent background?  I had hoped to the extracted images in 2 different ways.
Firstly just to paste into another image.
Secondly I'd like to try to open both the extracted item as well as the whole original photo in different video editing programs including Premiere Elements & sony Vegas.  What is the best  way to do this?

    Here's what you could do.
First make sure you have both images open in editor
    1. Open the image and select the area using the magnetic lasso/quick selection tool.
    2.  Select Layer -> New -> Layer Via Copy
    3. Now in the layers palette, right click the layer and select 'Dulicate Layer'
    4. In the duplicate layer dialog, in document - select the other image, where you would like to paste the image to.
    5. You and ajust the poition of the pasted area/resize it using the move tool or transform tool (Ctrl + T).
    6. Save the image with a new name
If you simply want to save the image with transparency (after step #2) - you may -
    > hide the previous layer and Save the image as a png/gif so transparency is presereved.
    Hope that helps.
When you have teh saved documents you can open them up in different editors.

  • UME permissions for Images Saver Action Block,  MII version 12.1

I have a BLS using the Image saver block but it seems that some MII users can do not have the ablity to save files using this action block.   The BLS transaction works fine when I'm logged in as MII admin.
What UME permissions do you need to write files on the local MII folder (in the project web path) to perform this action?
Note:  I don't have access to UME on this box, as it is a customers box and is managed by a seperate basis person.  I need to let that person know what permissions to add.

I think you have to assign the file system actions in the UME to a role that the user has:
    XMII_FileSystem_R, XMII_FileSystem_RW, XMII_FileSystemBrowser etc.

  • Html content to image saver

    Hi,
how to convert html content to image(using image saver) help of BLS Action Block
    Thanks
    Ramesh

    Ramesh,
I'm not sure your question is very clear. Why are you trying to convert HTML to an image?
I can assume that your experience with xMII is very limited....?
    Some recommedations are as follows:
    1) Take the xMII training...it's very helpful!
    2) Read the xMII Help guide...it comes packaged with the xMII install and can be accessed from the xMII Portal page on the top right corner of the page.
    3) Reference the xMII Wiki for additional info:  <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/xmii/main&">xmii WIKI...Click Here!</a>
And as always the best way to see how something works is to TRY it out. Read the help, then post in this community and explain what you have done and tried so that we can help out with what else you can try.
Questions which ask us to do your work are not very productive for you, or the community as a whole.

  • IMAQ multiple images saves to files

I'm developing a confocal microscope with multi-axis control where I
use servos and motion controller cards for the works. I managed to
generate vivid images of semiconductor images in 2D plane (x,y) from a
Laser Diode source reflectance and optical feedback, but would like to
make slices along z-axis so that I would have completely define a
    stacked image i.e. I= f(x,y,z) (hences, a 3D reconstruction from 2D
planes) in this manner I need to displace a z-motor from a range (+),
zero, to (-)in each displacement I would have then generated a 2D
image save and kept into a file. I have a problem with IMAQ VIs on how
to do this exactly when I need to repeat the steps and file saving to
a disk? Any suggestions or ideas are welcome.

Hello Bruce, this seems pretty much ok only if I have a camera in
place. But this design does not and will not use one because it is
essentially an optical imager by itself (call it a laser diode
reflectance microscope). So, the images are generated from optical
reflections converted to voltage by a Laser Diode (and its
controller). What I do is spot a surface get some light intensity on
it move the stage to another spot until I covered an area (m x n)
pixels. So, my problem really boils down to how IMAQ Vision do a
multiple save of this 2D arrays with increments on z-axis (servo
motor). Attached is an screenshot and a sample image from my set-up.

  • How combine a jpeg image & animated gif image & save  it as GIF ?

i have an jpeg image, & also aminated gif image, how do i place the animated gif image over (in the center of the image) a jpeg image & save it as gif file ??

First thing you need to do is stop thinking in terms of file formats once the files are in photoshop they are all the same. The exception being vector vs raster. But in this instance the process is rteally the same so 6 on one hand a half a dozen on the other. Or as some would say Tomatoe, tomahtoe(mispelled on purpose).
The jpeg I would assume is the background image and the gif image is the fore ground object. Open the jpeg, and then place the gif file. As long as the fore ground object has transparency, your job is pretty much done. If not, then it will be up to you to mask what you want to keep vs what you don't and apply that selection to the foregrounds layer as a mask.
Google the net or skim the users manual for the keywords - mask, selections, quickmask, pen tool, paths. Each of these can in one way or another take care of your issue.
It would be worth your time to also go through the numerous videos about photoshop and see how its done.
    Either go to adobe tv,
    Itunes podcasts
or one of the following web sites:

  • Is there a way to change the default image save to .jpg rather than.bmp?

Currently the default save is a .bmp file.  I do not see a way to change this in the <edit> <preferences> area.  Also is there a way to export/save a designated area on a pdf as a .jpg image file rather than the options given: Word, Exel, Powerpoint, .rtf, html, etc.  I currently have to take a snapshot (often clicking this twice) and then opening it in photoshop, then changing it to black and white (if needed) in order to save it as a .jpg

No, it's not.  But someone has to request it: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

  • I have problems with uploading images to my printing company have the images have been manipulated through CS6 i have saved images as jpeg but the printer company tell me they are not j peg, they will not upload images save from a camera are fine

I have problems with uploading images to my internet printing company when  the images have been manipulated through CS6 and  i have saved images as jpeg  the printer company tell me they are not j peg,
but images saved from my phone or camera images that have not been manipulated upload fine, What am i doing wrong?

Save/Export them as JPG. Photoshop defaults to PSD, so make sure you select JPG and not just rename the file to .jpg.
There are two ways to save them as JPG: Regular Save as option or Save for Web & Devices
    Take your pick.

  • Images save as empty files

Can't download images. One of two things happens
    Situation 1:
    - Save image
    - Dialogue box "Moving [image123.jpg]"
    - Stuck downloading. Stays there until I force quit via task manager, also forcing Windows Explorer to restart
    - Image is saved as a 0-byte file
    Situation 2:
    - Save image
    - File saves as 162-byte file
    - I have to copy paste the image into an image program and save it manually.
    Possible causes
    - Addons (I haven't downloaded any new/different addons though?)
    - Malware (I just nuked and reformatted my laptop a few weeks ago...)
    - Firefox update (Found others who have the same problem, but I never saw any useful solution)
If anybody knows a solution that would be great. Thank you so much in advance.

''Malware (I just nuked and reformatted my laptop a few weeks ago...)''
Add/mal-ware sneaks into you computer. Some thru an e-mail, some thru
an installer (loads other programs also).
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
    * [http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/default.aspx Microsoft Safety Scanner]

  • Images save blurry

Hi, first off let me begin by saying no, it's not a problem with firmware 2.2, because I'm using firmware 2.1. Secondly, no, updating to firmware 2.2 will not fix this problem as most people with this problem are using firmware 2.2.
The problem is whenever I save images from safari onto my iPod touch they come out blurry and distorted, the same image but a VERY low quality version.
It turns out there is MANY people experiencing this same problem, here is another thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8853799#8853799
    Apple, please fix this...

Hi, I've noticed a couple of people around here have had problems with image quality (blurry images) whenever an image was saved to the camera roll from Safari.
Turns out, there is a simple fix for this!
This fix requires a drawing app such as Brushes (Or any drawing app where you can take an image from your camera roll, and save to your camera roll).
Now, just open the image that is blurry in the selected drawing app.
Notice anything? The image is no longer blurry! Woo!
Now just save the image back to your camera roll, and delete the old blurry image. You won't be needing it anymore.
    Problem solved.
(I think opening the picture in the drawing app reduces the size of said picture, making it less blurry. I'll try this the next time I find a blurry image to see the changes in quality. I'll also include a picture guide for those that don't understand how to do this (But would you really need it :P))
Hope this helps all that have this problem!
