Images with variables help

Ok so i want to use php to have a variable called banner and
make an image with the src being set equal to banner. I can get an
empty image with an x through it to display. When i right click it
and go to properties i find that the src isn't set to the variable
i declared.
Here's how i tried to do it:

You need to escape the image source = variable i have some
pics that i did the same thing like this:
<img src='pics/" . $picloc['name'] . "' width='$diswidth'
height='$disheight' alt='" . stripslashes($picloc['description']) .
"... Date: " . date("D F jS, Y", strtotime($picloc['upload_date']))
. "'>
yours would be like this:
echo "<img src='" . $banner . "' width='$bannerw'
height='$bannerh' alt='$sitename'>";
you might have to do the same to the alt text mine i did
because its from a RS, but just do the '" . $sitename . "' if you
need to.

  • Creating materialized view with variables - help

    Greetings,
    I want to create an materialized view (MV) from the external public db link. Below is my full query:
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW PROJECTS_MV
    REFRESH WITH ROWID
    AS
    SELECT prj.Project_id, prj.desc,
    prj.parent_project_id, f_year, f_month
    FROM sysadm.prj@EFUYEEDW_DB_LINK.MSDB prj
    WHERE prj.pf_scenario_id = '708KDD'
    AND prj.ph_id = 'SHAREDP'
    AND f_year = (SELECT EXTRACT(year FROM current_DATE) FROM dual)
    AND f_month = (SELECT EXTRACT(month FROM current_DATE) FROM dual)
    Question: In the query there are two variables that capture the month and year and requery it. Does the data get updated automatically when a new month or new year changes?
    If there is a change, how would I change so it would update the data accordingly?
    Thanks for your help
    john9569

    Hi Christian,
    Thanks for your response. Your codes return the date as 01-JAN-09 which is not what I'm looking for. Maybe my question is not clear.
    So far, the MV is executed correctly what I want. My concern is when it updates the MV, does it get the new data (f_month & f_year) when the MV is updated automatically?
    Other words, the MV is updated nightly to get the incremental data from the db link. Once it passes to the new month, I am not sure how this MV handles since the f_month is now changed to differrent number.
    Thanks for your help.
    Bests,

    Hi,
    I need to save BufferedImage (type ARGB) in a file.
    Transparency in this image is a function of position. Who knows, what would be the best suggestion for type of file to store this image (probably not JPEG) and which package would be appropriate. A sample of code would be higly desirable. Please help, thank you in advance.

    Your can use the ImageIO-API if your software runs under JVM1.4 or you must use the JAI (Advanced Imaging API) ...

  • First Script: Need some basic skill help? Can you add an image with a click?

    Hello, Im working on a project were you can replace people heads in a photo. Its for a project so its not supposed to be perfect. So far heres what i think the best steps to take are, but im not sure how to take the first scripting steps. How can i add an image with a script? How can i store a x y coordinates?
    1. I would create four variables and than store the XY cords of the the high point of the head, the bottom of the chin, amd the farthest right and left of the face.
    2. I would than add the image of the head that I would already have.
    3. If the x coordinates of the top and bottom are off kilter, I would rotate new head until = old face dimensions..
    4. I would also see if the width is too big or small and resize accordingly
    5. I would than resize the head so that the eyes would match up.
    Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Is that script for a browser html. Its not for Photoshop and like Photoshop would fine UiApp undefined so does Microsoft.  Is that a Chrome script or Android script? Why post it here?

  • Photoshop won't open Raw images with my new Camera Canon 6D help! I use Photoshop CS5 extended version.

    Hello,
    I got a new camera and Photoshop and Lightroom won't open Raw images with my new Camera Canon 6D help! I use Photoshop CS5 extended version. and Lightroom 3

    Good news and bad news:
    The bad news is that you need CS6 or higher to open 6D RAWs. (The 6D didn't get support until Camera Raw 7.3; 7.0 premiered in CS6.) You can choose to upgrade (I'd recommend skipping CS6 and go straight for CC 2014 for $10/month) *OR*...
    ...the good news is that the DNG Converter can help you convert your RAWs into DNGs for use in CS5 and Lightroom 3.

    Terence isn't the jerk in this thread. He's was just attempting to give you a solution you can run yourself instead of having it given to you.
    GraphicConverter can create a transparent file, a gif. Try the following workflow:
    1 - first convert the file to a gif (use 89a) and save and reopen.
    2 -select the Magic Pen and set it's sensitivity to about 40 (double click on it will bring up the setting pane).
    3 - click on the black background to select all of the black.
    4 - select to the Edit->Make Selection Transparent menu option.
    5 - save the file.
    The black will turn to a checkerboard pattern indicating transparency. If you anticipate a lot of advance editing I suggest you look at Photoshop Elements. I find it much more powerful than GC and it supports layers which is a very powerful too. Here's an example of some of the advanced editing you can do with it.
    Do you Twango?
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Help!!!! when i try to transfer my videos from phone to computer they upload as still images with sound!!!!

    hi all,
    when i try and transfer my videos from phone to computer they are tranfering as still images with sound! I have tried going through i tunes! quick time and vlc player but they are all coming up the same!
    I have bought several apps to aide with this but they all give the same results!
    i find it hard to believe that i cannot transfer videos from iphone as i have a samsung monte too and that requires plugging in and selecting phone then selecting what i want transferring and then they are there to watch as i recorded them!!!!!
    these are really important videos of my daughters first steps etc so really need to get this right! and as phone memory is low i cant do much on phone till i get rid of the vids!!!!
    thanks in advance

    Plug your iPhone into your PC, when it is connected open my computer and you will see your iPhone under devices. Double click on your iPhone and a window will open and display a dics drive called "internal storage", double click on internal storage and a folder will appear (might be named DCIM), double click on that folder and another folder should appear. This folder(s) (their may be more then one) should contain all your pictures and videos taken on your iPhone. Simply select the video(s) you want to save to you computer by right clicking on the video, select copy and then paste it where you would like to save it on your pc (click and drag will also work). After you have transfered the videos to your pc see if they play properly.

  • Save an image with partial transparency

    There appears to be no way to preserve alpha channel information when saving an image out of labview, even when using the IMAQ vision functions. That is to say, you can create a partially transparent image using labview, but you can't save it to disk. Is this correct?
    global variables make robots angry

    The issue boiled down to bad documentation. LabVIEW is cool,
    but I really can’t wrap my head around how, given the very limited amount of
    documentation, so much of it could contain goofy mistakes. The documentation
    says that LabVIEW can’t handle a 32-bit image, and that it can only render
    transparency as a binary mask.
    Attached is a VI that demonstrates how to create partial
    transparency in LabVIEW by building a 32-bit image with an alpha channel.
    LabVIEW has no problem saving it out as a PNG. You can’t display it properly
    with the picture indicator, but you can display it properly with the 3d picture
    control. You have to ignore the documentation and switch the image bit depth
    value to 32 and order the image data as groups of 4 bytes, alpha, red, green,
    blue for each pixel.
    Also, if you create a binary picture mask to be used with a
    picture indictor, you need to add an extra column of bytes for no identifiable
    reason. You’ll find that when LabVIEW reads in a PNG with an alpha channel, it
    reads it in properly and creates a binary mask. You can save it out properly
    and alpha channel info is preserved. The mask will be larger than expected
    because of the weird extra column of bytes that isn’t mentioned in the
    documentation. For instance, if you load a 600 x 400 PNG with an alpha channel,
    the mask will be 30400 bytes long instead of 30000 bytes that would be expected
    if the description of how the binary mask works was right.
    Please note that there are two separate data structures (the
    32-bit image data with an alpha channel and the binary mask with the weird
    extra column) that are described incorrectly in the documentation for all of
    the picture function help pages. Note that there are several lines in each affected
    help page that need to be corrected.
    I like LabVIEW because it’s great for communicating with NI
    hardware, it’s easy to do parallel computing and it’s super easy to make a nice
    GUI. I’ve used LabVIEW to write real-time target tracking software that works
    on a wide range of targets in real video and I’ve used to it write a real-time
    3D simulation using real imagery and real video including ground imagery,
    transparent cloud imagery and real video of explosions. So, even though the
    function libraries are not terribly robust, I know that LabVIEW has a good deal
    of potential as a platform for serious programming work. I only started using
    LabVIEW less than two years ago, so that should tell you that LabVIEW is fairly
    intuitive to use.
    However, I’m a little disappointed and frustrated with it
    because I keep getting burned by poor documentation and silly bugs that eat up
    programming time. LabVIEW is expensive software, and while the function
    libraries are nice, they are somewhat limited. I think that National
    Instruments should either offer much more functionality or do a better job
    documenting and debugging the existing function libraries (of add-ons and
    toolkits, too) in order to justify the cost of LabVIEW software.

  • How to capturing scrolling images with no java controls?

    Can somebody help me? I am trying to capture the image of the browser, using the followed code to do it, but I can not take it scrolling the screen. I do not use any control of java in the browser. Does anybody have an idea?
    Robot r = new Robot();
    image1 = r.createScreenCapture(clippedScreen);
    File file = new File("c:\\Csa\\3.9\\Fimages\\"+counter+".jpg");
    javax.imageio.ImageIO.createImageOutputStream(file);
    ImageIO.write(image1,"jpg",file);
    //Scroll the screen
    scrollTheScreen ();
    //Takes scrolled area
    image2 = r.createScreenCapture(new Rectangle(0,666,1280,80));
    File file2 = new File("c:\\Csa\\3.9\\Fimages\\"+counter+1+".jpg");
    javax.imageio.ImageIO.createImageOutputStream(file2);
    ImageIO.write(image2,"jpg",file2);
    As you can see I take two parts of the screen but I am having troubles adding the images, I do not know if there is an easier way to do this.
    Thank you in advance.

    Thanks to anybody, but i found the way on how to capture the image.
    1. Take a snapshot of the screen.
    2. Scroll the screen pushing the button down.
    3. Take the snapshot of the scrolled part of the screen.
    4. Scroll the screen pushing the button down.
    5. Take the snapshot of the scrolled part of the screen.
    6. Compare the 2 last images, if they are equals, stop scrolling, else scroll again.
    7. Join the images first, second and third images, to get a single one corresponding to the hole info of the browser.
    8. Save the resulting image.
    The thing in this problem is to manage the images as RGB components for that you must use the getPixel(col, row, color); method to manipulate the components in matrix and added to a bigger matrix where you join the complete components. Be sure that you manage the 3D matrix correctly, [width of the screen] [height of the screen] [RGB components], i.e.
