TS2755 I living in Israel using Hot Mobile an 3.9G network, transferred my old number from another carrier and for some reason the imessage / face-time not working anymore even restore not helped, it stuck on "waiting for activation" please help

when i try to active the imessage or facetime it typing "Waiting for activation" and stuck like this.
when i go to setting > phone > i see the correct number.
i think i read the whole google already trying resolving this issue tried everything, even restored my phone and actived the new sim using itunes.
but still not working same error.
the NEW sim of HOT MOBILE gave me a temporary number which worked fine its was 053-xxxxxx
after somthing the transfer like 24 later hours they transfered my old number from another carrier witch is 054-xxxxxx
and now not working.
called my carrier and they has no idea how to fix that.
they told me contact apple.

Hi guys,
I keep getting "waiting for activation" on my iMessage. I can only send/receive iMessage from my email address, NOT my phone number.
I have done all kind of fixing suggestions that I can find online, but nothing works so far.
- Date & time set as automatic (I don't know why this matter, but mine was already set as automatic from the begining)
- Reset network setting
- Changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8.
- Restore to factory setting (from back up & as new iPhone)
- Turning on/off iMessage & facetime
- Sign out/in of apple ID
- Change location from apple ID
- Hard reset/reboot
And many others.

For both iMessage and FaceTime .
Any radical solution that you have will be appreciated as it is becoming frustrating .

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore and you have IOS-6 or lower, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

I could swear the last time I used cellular data you would see the signal in the upper left corner and I only see "no service" there, I am in a location where I know I should have service. Is there something I should do to my IPAD? I tried resetting, I tried clearing cookies and history in Safari (after reading a post n these discussions). I don't know what to do next. My IOS version is 6.1.3. I did go into Network from the general tab and I see it says "SIM not provisioned". HELP and Thank you in advance.

It sounds like the cellular data will not activate for some reason on the iPad.
I found this article that will help you resolve this issue here, named iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular Models): Troubleshooting a cellular data connection, found here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4249
Check for a carrier settings update.
Update your iPad.
Toggle the Cellular Data setting off and on under Settings > Cellular Data.
Restart your iPad.
Tap Settings > General > About. Locate the Carrier entry and make sure that your carrier is correct.
If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try turning it off: Tap Settings > Cellular Data > SIM PIN.
Make sure you're in an area of good coverage. If the cellular data connection works in another area, contact your carrier to report the original affected area.
Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Restore the iPad as new.
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store, contact your carrier, or contact AppleCare to troubleshoot further.
I know you may have done one or two of the steps here, so you can skip those.

Hello this is happening to us also (minus the Bluetooth speaker). We can't figure out what is causing the data usage. I turned off mobile data as soon s I activated the device, and got the message that unless I am connected to WiFi.....(that is exactly what I wanted). We watched Netflix for about three hours, then the alerts started. Like you we have many devices connected and never used over 2GB now all of a sudden we have used it in a matter of hours. My husband called Verizon and got the usual doubting Thomas response. I understand that they don't know my device settings. So over the phone we check all the settings and turned off every possible culprit eating up the data and end the call. By now I have purchased another gig for the month! Assured we are NOT using mobile data, we continue on the IE path to bliss. HA! A few hours later I check the mobile data usage on the Verizon website and that darn thing is still using data. After two more phone calls and two VERY uneventful trips to the local store we were told to take out the sim card. This has stopped the data usage, but it defeats the purpose of having the data plan. I could have just stuck with my Surface. Verizon sent us a new sim card. Its been installed and I have set my homepage to Verizon mobile data usage (just kidding) but I am on that site a lot. I am surprised at the number of complaints about this device. When we called the Verizon support acted as though this was the first time they had heard about this. Those are the instructions for your computer's iTunes (i.e. using the Store menu at the top of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'View My Account' on it). If you are doing it on your iPad then are you following the instructions for iOS devices :
To unhide your purchases
Depending on the content type, open the App Store, iBooks, or iTunes Store on your device.
Scroll to the bottom of the main page.
If you're not already signed in, tap Sign In.
Tap your Apple ID name, then tap View Account.
Scroll down on the Account pane, and tap Hidden Purchases.
Locate the item you would like to unhide then tap the Unhide button.

go to settings > iTunes & App Stores > click on that apple ID then sign out.

I bought my 15" macbook pro i7 just a year ago and my battery life runs out extremely quick..at fully charged it says I only have 2:27 of usage time. I didn't pay for that-what can I do about it? I do have Apple care. Thanks.

I bought my 15" macbook pro just a year ago and my battery life runs out extremely quickly. This started maybe a month or two ago. Its hard to tell. I only noticed the rapid change recently. Fully charged it says I have 2:27 (2 hours and 27 minutes) of usage time...with about 50% screen and keyboard brightness.
I've checked inside system preferences and its cycle count is 261 and full charging cap is 6316.
I have apple care...is this something i can/need to take up with apple. You'd think if you pay the price for these machines you should get mroe use out of them.

do you have a mbp with dual video cards? running the system with the higher end card increases the heat and also drains batt power.
i have the 1st gen unibody (2008) with an original removable battery of 311 cycles and 4453 charge. under normal use ill be happy to get 1.5hrs. the mac battery counter thing says i have 3.3hrs though (whatever). compared to me, i think you use your battery more than i do, perhaps its the reason why it degraded so fast in a year?
