Implement message sequencing in OSB Weblogic 11g version 11.1.1.5.0

Hi All,
We have implemented a distributed jms queue from where a jms proxy service picks messages and delivers to the target system . We want to deliver messages in order i.e. FIFO way
Auto Generate Unit of Order is enabled for this distributed queue .
But the messages are getting delivered out of order to destination . Like if there are 5 messages received at 5 different timings in my queue and the delivery of messages to destination is completely unordered first message delivered at 3rd number , last at 1st number etc. .
I want it to be First in First out way (FIFO) .
Please help .
Regards,
Neeraj

Hi All ,
Our environment is a clustered one where all OSB proxy services are deployed .

Neeraj

  • How to implement Message Sequencing  other than mediator

    Hi All,
I am looking for a solution to implement the message sequencing option for the below integration scenario between Order management module and projects module using SOA and AIA 11g.
    1. The source system triggering requests is the Order management module(sometimes projects module) of Ebiz R12.
    2. When an order is booked an event is raised and pushed to WF_Deferred_Q in Ebiz environment.
    3. This messages are pushed to WF_BPEL_Q in SOA environment by the QAgent configured at the Ebiz end.
    4. At SOA end , there is an AqAdapter configured in OSB(as a proxy service) will poll WF_BPEL_Q and pull the messages.
    5. Based on the type of request messages are routed to different requestor ABCS services( AIA framework).
    Scenarios possible are:
    1.     Orders created newly and same are synched to projects module.
    2.     Orders updated and same is updated in the projects module. (order header id is same for multiple update requests on the order )
Scenario 1: Two update requests for same order
    1.     When an existing order which has got five line items and each line item has got 2 sub line items, is updated at the same time from different locations(let’s say from India and Japan) where in order from India is updating the quantity on one sub line item whose parent line item is (lets say A) and another request from japan is updating the unit sale price in another sub lie item line item whose parent is also line item A.
    2.     Both the update requests which are raised will have the same order header ID and also the request from India is errored out while updating the projects module due to some reason which needs some manual intervention to update the data and resubmit the message.
    3.     Now we want to stop the request from Japan until the request from India is not processed.
    4.     Simultaneously we want to allow the orders which are independent.
Note: We are not looking to use “wait” option which will have an impact on the performance .
Please suggest your valuable inputs and expert thoughts in implementing the message sequencing with less impact in this situation.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Need Web Service implementation tutorial on SOA11g with weblogic 11g AppSer

    Hi Experts,
I am new to webservice topic. I don't know ABCD of web service, but i got a task to implement webservice and need prepare xsd file to move 3 fields information from source system to target machine.
Note: Target system have webservice to capture 3 fields information but I need to prepare a web service to capture 3 fields information from log file (normal text file) through web service (from source system and later link same to target web service).
My task is to implement web service at source system to fetch 3 fileds data from log file and link to target machine web service.
Can any one help me out any basic information on it and apreciate if any one provide practical tutorial on web service creation using SAO 11g and weblogic 11g application server.
    Thanks,
    Phani

thanks you for your response and tutorial.
I need some more help, can you please help me out how to read data from log file to webservice
Note: Log file have a xml content but it is saved as .log file thru an third party application. Third party application does not have capability to store log file as xml but it istoring has .log file (normal text file) with XML content.
If you have any sample code, please provide the same

  • Acheving Message Correlation In OSB

    Hi People,
Just Trying to Implement Message Correlation In OSB.
Limitations : The DownLine System for us is not expected to send back the JMS Message ID while sending the response message. DownLine system Just sends only the payload. This stands as agreement between us.
    Below is the Scenario.
I am just trying to replicate the DownLine Flow by using a proxy service and JMS Queues.
1, Setting a value say "ABCD" to JMS Message ID while routing tthe message to BS from Proxy Service 1.
    2. The business service "IS Response Requred" is enabled and response Queue is configured as XYZ.
    3. Proxy Service 2 Picks Up the message and stubs the response and publishes to JMS Queue Q3.
    4. From JMS Q3 proxy service 3 reads it and sends back to the response Queue (XYZ) configured in the BS.
    5. Also the proxy service 3 sets the JMS Correlation ID as "ABCD" and routes to the response Queue in the BS.
While sending the messages i can see that the JMS Message ID is getting over writen by a weblogic value, hence correlation is not acheived. Results in time out.

You are in wrong forum.  Please close the thread and ask the question in SOA Suite forum.

  • Custom Authorization Logic Using request.isUserInRole(role) in Weblogic 11g

    Dear All,
I am using BlazeDS and its security feature LoginCommand to implement a secured endpoint in Weblogic 11g. Since BlazsDS's default implementation uses HTTP session but we do not want to use it, we would like to implement our own version of authentication and authorization. However we faced a problem on authorization part.
For authentication, we use weblogic.security.services.Authentication.login(username, password), which returns correctly. For authorization, we try to use HttpServletRequest.isUserInRole(role) to determine whether a user belongs to a target role, but it returns false.
When we trying to fix the problem, we add weblogic.servlet.security.ServletAuthentication.login(username, password, request, response) before weblogic.security.services.Authentication.login(username, password), which will add information on HTTP session. It makes the later authorization using HttpServletRequest.isUserInRole(role) return true.
    We want to know:
    1. How can we check if an account belongs to a target role without using HTTP session in web application?
    2. After we call Authentication.login(username, password), anything we need to do to log out for releasing any resource used?
    3. If request.isUserInRole(role) is the only possible way to check if an account belongs to a target role, how to check the reason why it returns false?
And here is how we set up user, group and role:
User (in WebLogic Admin Console) – demo_user with demo_grp
Group (in WebLogic Admin Console) – demo_grp with patent demo_grp1
    Role (in weblogic-application.xml) – demo_role maps to demo_grp1
We set nothing in web.xml as we want to use the security feature provide by BlazeDS to secure an endpoint at method level.
    Remarks:
For Authorization in BlazeDS, what we have is the authenticated user's principal, and the required role of the calling method:
    public boolean doAuthorization(Principal principal, List roles);
    Thanks In Advance,
    Alex

You gotta specify your child table recon-field in the process definition mappings as a Key Field. Refer OOTB AD connector and check:
Process Definition -> AD User ->Reconciliation Field Mappings -> memberOf

  • J2EE versions supported by Weblogic 11g, 12g

    Hello,
Can you please direct me to a link that I can find what versions of J2EE or Java EE are reliably supported in 11g and 12g.
    Thanks,
    Raj

I'm sorry, I thought by mistake that you were asking about Java SE, so I sent you info about Java SE in my previous post. Here is the information about Java EE:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/overview/compatibility-jsp-136984.html
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/overview/compatibility-javaee5-jsp-141098.html
(Just find "WebLogic" on the page and open the link "Tested configuration" below it).
As you can see WebLogic 12c is Java EE 6 compatible and WebLogic 11g is Java EE 5 compatible.

  • WebLogic 11g: Weblogic-Application-Version not taken into account

    Hello,
I'm trying to set up Production Redeployment on my EAR, under WebLogic 10.3.6.
However, I can't figure out how to make Weblogic-Application-Version work in MANIFEST.MF
    Here is my EAR structure:
    MyApplication
    --- APP-INF
    --- --- lib
    --- --- classes
    --- META-INF
    --- --- application.xml
    --- --- weblogic-application.xml
    --- --- MANIFEST.MF <- file I update
    --- WebApp1
    --- --- META-INF
    --- --- --- MANIFEST.MF
    --- --- WEB-INF
    --- --- --- classes
    --- --- --- lib
    --- --- --- web.xml
    --- --- --- weblogic.xml
    --- WebApp2
    --- --- same as WebApp1
    MANIFEST.MF content is the following:
    Manifest-Version: 1.0
    Weblogic-Application-Version: VERSION_1
The problem is that it's not taken into account when I deploy the application in the WebLogic console.
When I use staged mode, the line Weblogic-Application-Version: VERSION_1 is removed from the staged MANIFEST.MF file.
The only way to manage to version my application is to add the flag -appversion to weblogic.Deployer, but I don't want to use that on a Production environment (and it's not recommended in the documentation!).
Any idea why Weblogic-Application-Version not taken into account? I tried to add debug mode to node weblogic/debug but with no success.
    Thanks by advance,
    Julien

I tested it at my end and was able to redeploy it successfully with the application versions.
Are you saying that by deploying through weblogic console, the archive version is not honoring/getting picked up .is that correct?
if yes, what does your weblogic console shows for archive version, when you first try to deploy your application with the VERSION_1.
I mean, when you are on the "Optional Settings" Page.Do you see the Archive Version as VERSION_1?
Deployments >> Click on the Install >> select your application ( MyAPP)>> Install this deployment as an application >> Select deployment targets >> Optional Settngs
Example from the Optional settings Page for My application
What do you want to name this deployment?
    Name: MyAPP
    Archive Version:
    VERSION_1
This can confirm that the application being deployed is versioned one and if it doesn't shows up,then you need to check why its not getting picked up.?
Moreover,You can enable the "deploy" debug flag to see whats going wrong in your case during the deployment process
    Server > Debug > Weblogic > Deploy
Do refer the below viewlet on the Production Redeployment
    http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/wls/redeployment/wls-side-by-side-non-annotation_viewlet_swf.html

  • DADs on WLS 11g (version 10.3.6.0) do not work (Error 404--Not Found)

Actually we use Application Server 10g (version 10.1.2.3.0) for different Forms 10g Applications (roundabout 1000 Forms) and want to change to Forms 11g and Weblogic Server 11g (version 10.3.6.0). A Test-Application on the Weblogic Server works fine, but DAD’s do not work at all.
In Enterprise Manager 10g i can configure DADs within the GUI of the Enterprise Manager, where i can see, if a connection could be established or not.
In Enterprise Manager 11g Fusion Middleware Control this doesn't seem to exist anymore, so i tried to configure the DADs manually, but something has to be wrong or missing, because there is no connection to the database and the following error appears:
    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
I added several DAD’s to /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/mod_plsql/dads.conf like this:
    <Location /pls/jd-download-dev>
    SetHandler pls_handler
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from All
    AllowOverride None
    PlsqlDatabaseUsername w_web_user_download
    PlsqlDatabasePassword @BWKChfgPacV6yQL40lIKZqXUUA9wC4cmAw==
    PlsqlDatabaseConnectString jddev TNSFormat
    PlsqlNLSLanguage German_Germany.WE8ISO8859P1
    PlsqlAuthenticationMode Basic
    PlsqlDefaultPage w_anwendung.p_web_show_document
    PlsqlAlwaysDescribeProcedure Off
    PlsqlErrorStyle DebugStyle
    </Location>
The passwords were obfuscated with dadTool.pl and the http-Server restarted with /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=OHS
The files /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/mod_plsql.cache.conf and /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/moduleconf.plsql.conf were left unchanged.
Our Test-Application generates the following link
    'http://172.106.2.7:9001/pls/jddevdev/B_ARCHIVE.P_ARCHIVE_VIEW?docfid=200'
that seems to be ok, because when i replace IP and port with our old IAS it works fine, but the WebLogic Server generates the above mentioned error.
To get some more information i searched an error_log in /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/diagnostics/logs/OHS/ohs1 but there isn’t any.
I used the following Documentation for configuring the DADs which is for HTTP Server 11g Release 1 (version 11.1.1), because I could not find one for version 10.3.6.0:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e10144/under_mods.htm#i1055269
So probably there are differences between configuring version 10.3.6.0 and version 11.1.1 and so something is wrong configured or missing...
Thank you in advance for your help
    Udo

    Hi Raj,
it is a Sparc Solaris 10
    and yes that's my enviorment.
After some more tests it's seems it's not a real bug but no realy nice working solution.
Eclipse uses for all instances the same secure storage, where OEPE also saves the password.
And if I look right the pasword was saved without the user context, so if you use an other user he takes the same password from the old user.
and I doesn't know how do OEPE check the connection in reality or only reply the last failed login message.
After deleting the complete secure storage and test it again with the juno version it works well.

There is one more method,i know
    Set the JAVA_HOME and PATH
    then execute the
    $WL_HOME\wlserver_10.3\server\bin>setWLSEnv.cmd
Go to directory which contains weblogic.jar ($WL_HOME\server\lib) and run below command
    $WL_HOME\wlserver_10.3\server\lib>java -cp weblogic.jar weblogic.version

  • Deploying ADF Webapplication (10.1.3) to Weblogic 11g (10.3.4)

    Hello All,
I have a web application built using jsp, struts framework and ADF business component. Currently it's deployed on oracle application server. I have requirement where it needs to be deployed on Weblogic 11g (10.3.4. or higher)
Current version of Jdeveloper/ADF we are using is 10.1.3.
According to support matrix,  Oracle JDeveloper 11g Application Server Certification Matrix
its possible to deploy applicaiton developed in 10.1.3 to weblogic 10.3.4. Thats what oracle says as per above link.
Is this correct? Has anyone tried it before?
I followed the steps mentioned at Deploying The SRDemo ADF Sample Application on WebLogic Servers and installed ADF runtime as per Installing ADF Runtime Library on Third-Party Application Servers
However when trying to deploy EAR file, I am getting classnot found exception for ADF/Classes.

I created ADF directory under WLS home and copied required ADF related jars under lib and jlib folder. Do I have to perform any more steps.
It's also mentioned on Deploying The SRDemo ADF Sample Application on WebLogic Servers
Class not found on oracle/adf classes when deploying the application
Verify that the setupadf.cmd file can be located by the WebLogic starting script.
Verify that you started the right domain with the right startup script.
Where can I find this cmd file and what needs to be in there? I am new to weblogic area. Can you please provide more details on this?
My question to ADF experts - Is it possible to deploy web application with ADF business component (only ADF BC) 10.1.3 to Weblogic 10.3.4?
If yes, could you please guide on how to accomplish it?
Note that application has ADF BC only no adf faces or jsf.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards
    Amol Relkar

    Hello Shay,
Thanks you for your quick response.
Yes, my application works fine in embeded OC4J in Jdeveloper 10.1.3.
It also runs well on Oracle applicaition server v9.0.4.3.0 which there on test environment.
Current JDeveloper (10.1.3) doesn''t support weblogic 10.3.4 it seems, so I couldn't use ADF Runtime Installer wizard, when I do so it says - Selected directory is not a web logic home directory. So I followed steps manually mentioned in the same link - Installing ADF Runtime Library on Third-Party Application Servers
Basically I copied all mentioned jar files under <Weblogic_home>\ADF\lib and <Weblogic_home>\ADF\jlib
This is the correct way right?
If not could you please elaborate more on this.
Note: I have just ADF BC in my applicaiton no faces stuff.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kind Regards

Jay and Maxence , I tried what you guys said by removing the jms. and using only PrixcarDamageQueue and PrixcarConnectionFactory but still I am getting an error like Namenotfound as shown below,
The Message-Driven EJB: PRIXCAR_IMPORT_GATEWAY_QUEUE is unable to connect to the JMS destination: PrixcarDamageQueue. The Error was: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Unable to resolve 'PrixcarDamageQueue'. My doubt is will queue be displayed in JNDI tree ?? I mean there is a JNDI tree in weblogic admin screen and I am getting only the PrixcarConnectionFactory in that and not the PrixcarDamageQueue , may be thats why its showing "unable to connect to the JMS ???" Please advice.....
I changed both the xml's and the JNDI names in the admin screen.
