Implementing a serial code method to your application, any advice?

What would be a free and less complicated way to implement a serial code function to a Mac application to allow trials and shareware? And no, I'm not going over to the Mac App store!

I haven't come across annotations for the digital graphs, but that won't really help anyway. What I need is a way to group, for example, 8 1-bit samples into an 8-bit word. Annotations could create labels, but I'd still get transitions for each bit. I would prefer that the collapsed view show the 8-bit words and the expanded view show that plus the actual bit transitions. I'm looking for something like the SPI example in this link but of course the data in this case is implicitly clocked so I don't need to show a clock as well.
I managed to hack up the example as shown here:
I don't like this because I had to create and interpret several "states" in each sample and fix those samples at the same value to create labeled field in the collapsed waveform. It's ugly and it has the "+" to expand it. I can cancel if the user clicks the plus, but the plus is still there. There is also no way to color in the transitions to match the background of each state.
Hopefully that makes sense and someone has a solution.

  • Serial Code Aperture update

    With this new update, Aperture asks for the serial code again.
    Although I have an original copy of Aperture with serial code, it does not work any more.
    What should I do ??
    Apple should be more careful in releasing updates. Every time I choose to make an update, I have some problem later !! Every time. This is something they will not be able to change later. When leopard asks if I want to make the update, my unconscious says NO. Thats exactly what happened to Windows Vista. They are loosing because of this: people unconscious is powerful. Please Apple. By now solve this problem. And then, think twice before releasing an update. If you see my posts here in the forum, most of my problems started after an update.
    I need Aperture working as fast as possible !!!!!!

    I have a similar problem. I have a valid purchased serial number which works fine with Aperture but when I try to update to 2.1.1 the update package says that I don't have Aperture 2.0 or higher. I followed instructions on the support page for serial numbers issues in pro apps and removed the Id file in Library/Application Support/ProApps and Aperture 2 asked for the serial number on launch and I provided it and it was happy with it and I can use 2.1 just fine. I just cannot update to 2.1.1.
    How do I contact Apple about it? I don't have AppleCare.

  • Add html code in web dynpro application

    Hi
    Is there a method to add HTML Code in web dynpro application so that it works same as HTML works in browser
    I have to add a clock in my application How can i do that
    Best regards
    Suresh

    If you're on NetWeaver CE or otherwise use Wb Dynpro for Java 7.2 or higher, you could use the WebWidget control, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/49/bfa3b2e55657bae10000000a42189d/frameset.htm
    Otherwise, I'm afraid your only option is to use an IWDIframe component in your WDJ project, embedding the HTML.. Be carefulo though, the IWDIframe component is deprecated (since each server roundtrip forced a reload of the IFrame it was pretty useless)
    Hope this helps!

  • Previously installed Aperture3 on an iMac and a MBP. I Bought a new MBA to replace the MBP and I want to install Aperture3 on the new MBA.  The installer says the serial code is invalid? What do I do?

    I previously bought Aperture 3 and installed in on an iMac and a MBP.  I just bought a new MBA to replace the MBP, but the MBA doesn't have enough memory for me to do a complete restore of the MBP on the MBA.  So I am trying to find a way to deactivate the serial code or Aperture 3 on the MBP so I can reinstall Aperture 3 on the MBA.  I have been searching forums and google and I have not been any answers.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

    How did you buy Aperture? Did you buy it from the App Store? Then you can download it again on your MBA, if you sign into the App Store.
    If you bought Aperture buy buying a licence key to unlock the trial, try if this download link for the trial version still works: if yes, you can unlock it with your serial number:
    http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/Aperture/061-8328 .20101020.AprE3/ApertureTrial3.1.dmg
    And if you own the boxed DVD installer , use the DVD to install Aperture on your MBA. If the installer does not work - and you get the message
    "check with the developer to make sure Aperture works with this version of Mac OS X"
    you may have a problem with an expired developer certificate (they expired mid march).
    To fix this, set the Date  in " SystemPreferences -> Date&Time" to a date well before March 2012 and run the Installer again. If that succeeds and Aperture now runs, reset the date to the current date.
    You can see your serial number in the "About" panel in the main Aperture menu bar on your MBP:
    Aperture > About Aperture.
    For the "invaldid serial number" see these links: You may have read the letters incorrectly - some are look alike, "1" or "I", "0" or "O"; your shift-lock key may be set.

    i have paid for ipages 09 on 15/05 but never succed to enter the serial code. After 45 days, altough I was charged by 20 chf, I cannot completely use all ipages tools(impossible to save ). How can I get again the serial code I paid for?

    Getting the request for a serial number means that at some time you had the iWork ’09 trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. The easiest way to fix the problem is to use Yvan Koenig's AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip. Download uninstall iWork '09.zip, decompress it, open it in AppleScript Editor and click the Run button.
    Apple's support article on the subject says it's due to having a copy of the trial that is a higher version that the one you've purchased, but I'm not sure that is very common. This problem started with Snow Leopard & it seems to be some code in the iWork installers that doesn't do what it should.

  • Implementing Cash Flow (Indirect Method)

    Hi,
    Does anyone know what's required to implement Cash Flow (Indirect Method)? (T-code:S_ALR_87012272)
    Thanks,
    CW

    Hi Dan,
    Very interesting! Though, I didn't get the answer. Think it would be very favorable for everybody, if you explain in more details.
    AFAIK, data is stored in BCS periodically. So, do you imply that it's possible to create cash flow for any set of data in the system (because of periodicity)?
    Talk about ttypes and breakdown categories are also not very clear for me.
    Anyway, I'd like to talk functional, not SAP (or some other IT) language.
    Here we go.
    Did you say that you used to create the cash flow report on the fly, by using some calculations in BEx?
    And the same for eliminations in cash flow?
    Did you do eliminations in CF?
    If yes, then I would suggest that you were lucky, having local and group currency the same, USD?
    As BCS consultant knows, the indirect cash flow report consists of 3 parts: net cash flows from operating activities, finance and investing ones.
    NCF from operating activities is usually calculated as net profit (before or after taxes) with some corrections that are calculated as differences in reported-beginning balances on some accounts. Would you calculate them in local or group currency? Taking into account that there might be no real movement in cash (local currency), but currency rate has changed?
    Financial & investing activities MUST BE PROVIDED in direct sense, like: dividends received, interests paid for credits and loans etc. There is, usually, no such information, only some netted activities. You need to get them additionally. How did you get them?
    So, the main question is:
    how would you calculate the CONSOLIDATED INDIRECT cash flow report
    having different local currencies (and a different group currency), with some intergroup activities?
    Everybody will appreciate your input on this subject.

  • CS4 serial code location

    I need to install the version of CS4 I have on my current mac onto my new one, but cannot find the email adobe sent me with the serial code in.
    Is there somewhere on my system I could locate it?

    cloning your old drive... will copy everything, including activation files, etc
    Although that is true, it may not always work. Some copy protection measures include recording information about the Mac, or even the volume, on which the application was originally 'activated' - and/or the number of attempts to create additional copies. (How much that applies to CS4 I don't know).
    You may find that you need to follow Limnos's advice and contact Adobe. If they are happy with your request I think they will probably supply you, without charge, with an additional 'activation key'.
    ...and BTW, don't waste time looking for that info -- Adobe's programmer's would be pretty incompetent if you could find it and so by-pass their copy protection.

  • Question on "How-to invoke a method once upon application start"

    Hello everyone.
    I'm trying to implement what the article "How-to invoke a method once upon application start" by Frank suggests.
    https://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/entry/how_to_invoke_a_method
    Suppose that I'm having a single point of entry, so in my login.jpsx I have the below:
    <f:view beforePhase="#{login.onBeforePhase}">In the method "onBeforePhase" I have to pass the phaseEvent, since the signature is the following:
    public void onBeforePhase(PhaseEvent phaseEvent)but how do I know the phaseEvent when calling the login.onBeforePhase? How the call should be?
    Thanks a lot!
    ps. I'm using jDev 11.1.2.1.0

    You need not pass anything to this method , this method will get called before every Phase except ReStore View
    Just write the logic as Frank suggested for the phase in which you want the code to execute. You can get the PhaseId's like
    PhaseId.RENDER_RESPONSE
    public void onBeforePhase(PhaseEvent phaseEvent) {// from Frank's doc
    //render response is called on an initial page request
      if(phaseEvent.getPhaseId() == PhaseId.RENDER_RESPONSE){
    ... etc

  • Separate de Serial code to a class

    Hello There. I've already done some codes using serial port with rxtx API. Usually I just copy the code from the firste class I've wrote and paste it to then new class that i want to communicate with the serial port.
    I want to create a class with serial comm that I can use with all the other class i wanto to communicate with serial port.
    My problem is that the serial code have a listener (SerialPortEventListener). This listener is responsible for receiving and treating the message. I don't know how to make this listener notify my other class about this new message
    Once i did that by passing to the serialcomm class a JTextAre as argumment. So when the message was received the listener itself would put it in this JTextArea.
    But in my new application I don't need to see the message, just do someting according to it.
    I know it's a little bit confusing, but I hope you understand my problem...

    You got me wrong. I'm note copying anyone's code. I wrotethe serial code.
    My problem is that I don't know how to put this serial code in separeted class, because of the listener. How my new class can know when the listener captured something.
    To be more clear.
    I have the class like this:
    public class SerialComm implements SerialPortEventListener {
          //class code
    }What I want to to is to create a new serial commnunication just by calling this SerialComm class, for example, liek this:
    public class Chat{
        //code here... sComm = new SerialComm("COM1");
    }My problem is make the Chat class know that there's a new message availabe ..
    I haven't copied the code, I said that I used to copy my own code to the new class, inserting the code in that class and not puting in a separated class...
    Go it ?

  • Java code common to the applications modules

    I need help to generalise some methods and include them in project.
    I have some Java methods and I need it to be able to include/calll these methods from different application modules.
    I need it accessible to all app modules.
    Is there any way to do it?

    what we do is create a root application module to be the parent of all our app modules. edit that root app module and add your other app modules as nested app modules under the "Application Modules" section. then in your child app module java code you can initialize your root application module by using the getRootApplicationModule() method:
    YourServiceImpl yourServ = (YourServiceImpl)getRootApplicationModule();
    then you have access to all your methods in the master app module. however, to make sure you're accessing your app module in the desired hierarchy, you have to base your jhs app def file on your root app module or use your app module under the desired hierarchy in any of your custom adf pages.
    hope this helps

  • HOW TO: Set up your application server to run BC4J

    How To set up your application server to run BC4J.
    INTRODUCTION
    A running BC4J application is actually the combination of:
    * Your own application files
    * BC4J runtime libraries
    In order to successfully run your BC4J application in local mode, the first requirement is
    that your application server contains the necessary BC4J libraries.
    This How To describes the steps required to ensure that you have a functional
    BC4J runtime environment installed on your application server.
    Oracle IAS 1.0.2 and Tomcat 3.1 will be used as examples.
    THE BC4J RUNTIME LIBRARIES
    Whatever application server you deploy to, the following libraries
    are required in the following order to be in the classpath.
    BC4J Libraries:
    xmlparserv2.jar
    jdev-rt.zip
    jbojdbcpatch.zip
    connectionmanager.zip
    jbohtml.zip
    jboimdomains.zip
    ordim817.zip
    ordvir817.zip
    ordhttp.zip
    jbomt.zip
    jbodomorcl.zip
    jboremote.zip
    jndi.jar
    jbodatum12.zip
    These libraries can be found in <JDEV_HOME>/lib/
    INSTALLING THE LIBRARIES ON IAS:
    Installing the libraries is simply a matter of copying them to the
    application server's filesystem and adding them to the classpath.
    IAS's classpath can be modified by editing the file:
    <IAS_HOME>\Apache\Jserv\conf\jserv.properties
    In this file you'll find the existing pre-installed BC4J libraries which
    looks like this:
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\lib\ordvir817.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\lib\ordim817.zip
    etc.
    Note! These BC4J libraries correspond to JDeveloper 3.1.1.
    In order to run JDev 3.2 based applications you will have to update these libraries
    to JDeveloper 3.2 production.
    Steps:
    1. Copy (or FTP) the JDev 3.2 BC4J libraries from <JDEV_HOME>\lib to a NEW directory on the
    appserver's filesystem called:
    <IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib
    2. Modify the classpath by editing <IAS_HOME>\Apache\Jserv\conf\jserv.properties.
    Example: (modified classpath entries)
    # New 3.2 BC4J Runtime libraries
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\xmlparserv2.jar
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jdev-rt.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jbojdbcpatch.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\connectionmanager.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jbohtml.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jboimdomains.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\ordim817.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\ordvir817.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\ordhttp.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jbomt.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jbodomorcl.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jboremote.zip
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jndi.jar
    wrapper.classpath=<IAS_HOME>\Apache\BC4J\newlib\jbodatum12.zip
    Note: Make sure to remove or comment out the existing 3.1.1 BC4J library entries!
    To see the changes, you must restart IAS and that's it, your IAS will be updated with
    the JDev 3.2 BC4J libraries which allow you to run BC4J Data Tags among other
    things!
    INSTALLING THE LIBRARIES ON TOMCAT
    As before, this process involves both the copying of the libraries
    and modifying the classpath.
    After copying the BC4J libraries to a path accessible from Tomcat,
    you can modify Tomcat's classpath by editing it's startup script:
    <TOMCAT_HOME>\bin\tomcat.bat (NT)
    <TOMCAT_HOME>\bin\tomcat.sh (Unix)
    Here is a portion of a modified tomcat.bat (on NT)
    rem Add BC4J libraries
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\xmlparserv2.jar
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jdev-rt.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jbojdbcpatch.zip

    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jbohtml.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jboimdomains.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\or dim817.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\ordvir817.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\ordhttp.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jbomt.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jbodomorcl.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jboremote.zip
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jndi.jar
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\jbodatum12.zip
    rem Add Oracle JDBC library
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;D:\bc4j_lib\classes12.zip
    Note: I also added the Oracle JDBC library since Tomcat does not have it.
    It is found at:
    <JDEV_HOME>\jdbc\lib\oracle8.1.7\classes12.zip
    And That's It!
    When Tomcat is restarted using this script, the necessary BC4J libraries
    will be in the classpath..
    A follow up How To:"How To Deploy a BC4J JSP Application on IAS and Tomcat"
    will be posted shortly!

    I copied the following files in jserv classpath
