Implementing enlarge and Collapse feature for KM iViews/Pages

Hi All,
We are showing the KM folder structure in Portal content area, I would like to know whether we can implement the feature of Enlarging and collapsing for the KM iViews/Pages the way SAP Implemented for navigation panel with which we can expand/contract the content area space...
Any help is highly appreciated.

first of all sorry for the mistake in the link.Anyway,
regarding your requirement,this is very well possible.
If you could watch the code in the link closely,there is a function called toggle. In its definition
just modify the code this way(below the alert comment).
if(disp == "") {
div.style.display = "";
div.style.width = "100px";// this is where we reduce the width of the layout
} else {
div.style.display = "";
div.style.width = "200px"; // original layout width
so when u click on the icon now initially it opens up to a larger width. on clicking again, it will now collapse a portion of the width(as per your need.. not fully)
similarly if you want to enlarge the width
write another toggle function and give
if(disp == "") {
div.style.display = "";
div.style.width = "300px";// this is where we increase the width of the layout
} else {
div.style.display = "";
div.style.width = "200px";
You can modify these values as per your requirement.
I have tried out collapsing the portion of the width with this code.It works fine.So for enlarging also this will work.

I think the best place for you to start for this is the NI Developer Zone. I recommend beginning with these tutorials I found by searching on "data log rio". There were more than just these few that might be relevant to your project but I'll leave that for you to decide.

using microsoft word 2013, i have created a document with ENLARGE AND COLLAPSE TEXT features. When I convert it in PDF, there is no such feature. How can we make text click to enlarge and click to collapse in pdf.

How can I disable drag and drop feature for a document library? Do I have an option to disable it from the SharePoint's feature set?
Or can I disable it using a script? If so, how?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to disable drag and drop feature for a document library.
Drag and drop in SharePoint 2013 is a feature that depends on HTML5, which requires version of browser, SharePoint by default doesn’t has feature to disable or enable this.
You can try disabling the drag and drop feature by disabling an add-on in Internet Explorer, or
using Internet Explorer 9 or lower.

Drill down expand and collapse feature not available Crystal Reports Desig

Am I right in my understanding that drill down feature opens in a new tab and it cannot be made expand and collapse even using JRC.

Hi Slevi,
You are right with the understanding of the Drill down function. To have a drill down function available the minimum requirement is have at least a single group in the report.
When we have a group with some underlying data and then when we would like to see data for a particular group, we can see a u201Cmagnifying glassu201D symbol which indicates that there is data for this group and we can use the Drill down function.
When you drill on a particular group, the data for that group is shown in a new tab.
I hope this provides some information about the Drill down function used in Crystal Reports.

WebDynpro proxy page with Webdynpro iView and SAP Gui for html iView

Hello,
I have a requirement to have a page that has at the top of it a webdynpro for java iView screen with several links that when pressed pop-up various data pulled from the back-end. This part is fine and presents no problem. Beneath this the requirement calls for a SAP Gui for HTML iView to be displayed. Which is no problem either. The problem occurs when one of the links in the java webdynpro application at the top of the screen is pressed it causes the SAP Gui for HTML portion to refresh and come back to the beginning. So for example you first navigate to this screen and you go into the sap gui for html portion and drill into 2 or 3 screens in the sap gui for html transaction. If you then press one of the webdynpro links the sap gui for html (which is a separate iView) refreshes and you are taken back to the initial screen. This only occurs when using a web dynpro proxy page. If I use a standard page the SAP Gi for html does not refresh. Unfortunately there are other things not mentioned here that require us to use the webdynpro proxy page.
Any help is greatly appreciated,

Use System admin -> System Config and find your system in the PCD (under portal content). Right click and open -> permissions. Find a user or group or role and give it the end user permission. I'd suggest the group Everyone.

How to hide welcome user and logout link for only specified pages

Hi,
I have few pages in my application like forget password page, in which i don't want to show logout link on top corner and welcome message. For rest other pages its ok. If I edit the template body for doing it then in all pages the welcome user vanishes, where i need to hide it for some specific page only.
Please give some idea.

Go to Shared Components/Templates.
Find the page template that you are using and click Copy.
Go into the copy and look for &USER. and #NAVIGATION_BAR# and delete.
Go to each page that does not need the user and navigation and assign the new template.
This will get rid off the user details and the navigation bar.

A fantastic idea but I believe it can lead to some uncanny things. Even with the current block feature we have now has led to some bullying issues becoming worse. If a person blocks you. Then creates a hate level against you, you cant defend against it or even report. The person has blocked you and it'l be recognized by moderators as to why you were on the planet in the first place. and possibly suspending both accounts.

LBP is a game that is supposedly suitable for players of all ages. However, moderation of the community is in decline, bullying, harassment and other undesireable behavior is on the rise and individual players (or their parents) lack the tools to protect themselves (or their children) from harm. The call for these features have been strong and frequent. Below is a proposed outline for such features. Either LBP incorporates its own feature to block other players or it uses the blocked players data that is present in the PS3's PSN tools. The goal is to allow individual players to a) not having to be exposed to undesirable behavior of another individual player - or that player altogether, or b) limit the offending players movements within the domain of the offended player. Or both. When ReaderX highlight and note features for Android?

Amazing step forward with ReaderX - allowing us to mark up and highlight. But when on a tablet? Most people are reading on a tablet these days (whether android or apple) not on their Windows desktop ... (or non-existent Windows tablet). When will it be released for tablet form factor? Huge value. Huge need in the market. Heck, I would pay for that app in a heartbeat from Adobe! I don't want a low quality third party version .. and have been holding off waiting for Adobe.
