Import Duties In Stock Transfer

Hi Gurus,
I have created a pricing procedure for Imports. Same i have applied for stock transfer ( Document Type UB).
During Goods receipt i dont get a POP UP to enter the excise incoice number. But the excise TAB is appearing. CVD and Cess values are not flowing automatically.
For normal imports( Document Type NB), duties are flowing. But for document type UB its not coming.
When I do J1iex and enter PO number then system throws error "The entered PO has to be of type 'Normal PO' !
Message no. 4F151 "
Please Guide me

Rohan

Hi,
For stock transfer, the pricing procedure is different.....ie)the calculation schema is RM2000.....here apart from material price ie) P101 ,you can only give delivery costs.....you cant ginve import duty and all....if you want to do so, you have to do as Inter company code Stock Transfer....and PO document type you hv to choose NB.

  • Stock transfer of Imported Material

    Dear Experts ,
I wanted to do stock transfer of import material from one plant to another under the same company code.
I want to transfer the cenvat credit on taken on CVD & other cess to the receiving plant .
How should I go about it.
    Kindly guide .
    Thanks

    Hi,
    1) create PO for stock transfer.
    2) maintain material of stock transfer in j1id , with accessible value.
    3) create goods issue 351 mov type.
    4) go to J1is , refernce documnet will be goods issue number , type matd and customer id receiving plant
after entering in to it put percentage for BED , SED , cess and also give accessible value.
    5) save j1is
    6) post excise invoice (j1iv with refernce of J1is doc), this number will automatically comes in goods issue document under excise invoice tab.
    7) take print of excise, will go with goods issue
8)then in receiving plant do GRN , excise invoice will be post excise in goods issue plantdo, enter duties for creadit.
do same process as of excise creadit.

    Hi,
Have you set the vendor number in Customer Master and
customer number in vendor master at the Company Code/Purchase Org level?

  • Stock Transfer from Bonded WH to Depot (Excise)

    Hi All,
We have a business scenario of bonded warehouse where material is imported. In SAP we are following the below process.
    a. Create Import PO without any duty > GRN > MIRO (Vendor Payment)
    b. Create STO with bonded warehouse as our supplying plant & our depot (excise plant) as receiving plant.
    c. Enter all custom duties in STO.
    d. Custom MIRO is done.
    e. Outbound delivery created against STO > Goods Issue > MIGO
    f. When we do J1ID, system throws an error that our supplying plant (Bonded WH) is not marked as depot in CIN plant setting.
Please help me in getting the scenario for Import to Bonded WH followed by stock transfer to my depot where I can capture my RG23D register.
    Regards
    Virender

Bonded Warehouse need not to be registered as a Excisable Plant or Depot in CIN settings, you still have to Maintain Plant settings for Bonded Warehouse.. Else you will get the Error During J1IG Incoming Excise invoice at Depot. There is no harm even if you maintain Bonded Warehouse in CIN Plant settings..

  • Bonded Warehouse-Import duties

    Dear All,
We have created a bonded ware house plant and transferring the material from the bonded warehouse to other plant by the following way.
1.) ME21N - Create STO (in Main Plant, Supplying Plant as Bonded Warehouse Plant)
    Here in this PO, maintain all the Import Duties;
    JCDB IN:Basic Custom Duty
    JCV1 IN : CVD
JECV IN : Ed Cess on CVD
    J1CV IN : H&SECess on CVD
JEDB IN : Ed Cess on BCD
JSDB IN : H&SECess on BCD
    JADC Addnl Duty of Custom.
2.) Miro done first for the paying the customs duty to the govt.
3.) 351 movement carried out using Transaction code : MB1B
4.) in the accounting documnet, all the excise duties are loaded on the material. in our case,we want only the customs duty to be loaded on the material not the cvd, ecess on cvd. as it is required to take the cenvat credit for the same.
5.) while doing the MIGO against the stock transfer order, system is not asking the reference of the Custom MIRO document.
Please suggest , how to proceed this scenario.
    Thanks & Regards
    Nitin Chhabra

    Dear Nitin,
Judging from my knowledge of EC customs law, I don't think you will be able to fully map a bonded warehouse, i.e. the entire customs procedure, in SAP ERP. The main obstacle in my opinion is that the system doesn't distinguish between goods still under customs supervision and goods released for free circulation. For the system, stock transfer from plant to plant is thus basically a logistics issue. It doesn't recognize the customs and tax debt that arises at the moment you remove stock from your bonded warehouse.
    Best regards,
    Christiane

  • Stock transfer between Excise Plant and Non Excise Plant

Scenario : Stock is imported from say Singapore. One of the import duties can be claimed back as CVD and pass the benefit to customer.
Requirement : Stock transfer between Excise Plant and Non Excise Plant
Question : i) If I do stock transfer from Excise plant to non-excise plant, can I transfer the CVD amount which I captured in RG23A - Part1/Part 2?
ii) If I do stock transfer from Non- Excise plant to Excise plant, can I get the benefit of CVD and pass on that benefit to customer?
Pls let me know the possiblity of above two in SAP and Legally?
    thanks in advance
    Sridevi

Ok! Thanks for the replies. Pls let me allow to elaborate the earlier requirement.
Trading Goods say A gets imported to India. Issue was :
    1) We need to issue Excise invoice only to few customers. So, we thought of treating one batch as excise batch and remaining as non excise batch per day.
    2) Stock price varies every day being batch wise produced in say Singapore.
Means Mateiral is A but price varies evey day and because of the duty payment also gets varied. For a single material master we do have different prices for each batch and also excise/non excise scenario. So, how can I get material value for each of this combinations in the system and how to identify the same.
Because of the above reasons, we thought of having two plants. I can not configure depot here because cleint requires single plant for each state as of now.
Am I clear? If not, pls let me know,
    regards
    Sridevi

  • While doing J1iex In case of Stock Transfer Duty is Getting Inventorised

    Dear Experts,
In case of stock transfer of capital goods between 2 plants, when we are doing J1IEX (for the receiving plant) and tick the u201Ccalculate excise duties based on ratesu201D, the system copies the credit due amount to inventoried duty.
Due to this the total duty becomes sum of credit due and inventorised duty.
Why is the system copying the credit due amount to the inventorised duty in case of stock transfer only
Edited by: Burzes Batliwalla on Jun 13, 2011 7:17 AM

I am also checking this out with Burzes .Everything is ok with conditions,if we donot click  "calculate excise duty based on rates" . Nothing is inventorised.
But problem starts when we tick    "calculate excise duty based on rates"   and duty gets Invetorised.
    which is
    Recalculate Excise Duty
Recalculates the excise duty on the item.
    Procedure
Select this indicator if you change any of the excise duty rates in the above fields. Then press Enter.
The system then recalculates the excise duty amounts accordingly.
    Why is this happening.
Anyone can send some useful suggestions

  • Problem in Stock Transfer Depot to Depot.

    Hi All,
The Scenario is we are importing the Trading Material to Depot from there we are transporting to other depot & then send to the Customer.
    Import Material to Depot
    1. ME21N - Import PO to Depot (normal PO u2013 Document type NB)
    2. MIGO - Goods Receipt (movement type 101)
    3. J1IG - Capture Excise
Stock transport Order from Depot to Depot
    4. ME21N - Depot to Depot (Stock Transport PO u2013 Document type u2013 UB)
    5. VL10B u2013 (Replenishment Delivery)
    6. VL02N u2013 (Changing Delivery created in 5 above, picking & Post goods Issue)
    7. J1IJ - Excise invoice capture must be according to (3) J1IG
    8. VF01 u2013 (Creating Stock Transfer Invoice)
    9. MIGO u2013 (GRN in Receiving depot)
    10. J1IG - (over here i am not able to capture the excise from 7.J1IJ - I am doing excise capture from 3.J1IG. Even though its coming properly i like to clarify on this point.)
Eg:- Purchased : 5000 PCS > Post goods Issue & Excise invoice capture for 2000 PCS is done. After this process i am not able to capture the excise from J1IJ but i am capturing it from earlier J1IG it's taking up the excise for 2000 Qty.
Then the Normal Sale Process. Let me know any other thing has to be taken care in this process flow or this is the way it has to be done.
Note:-I am not able to capture excise in MIGO stage for this scenario alone. I am capturing at J1IG only. I need the kind inputs to solve the Problem.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi All,
For this Scenario (Step 9 -MIGO) is done through Goods Reciept with Outbound delivery at this time i am not able to capture excise at MIGO stage as there is no commercial invoice is being created at this point. So i am capturing it at J1IG over thier if i give Internal Excise number generated from J1IJ it's giving an error Internal Excise number does not exist. It's working fine when i give the earlier Internal Excise number generated at (J1IG Step 3).
    Thanks in Advance,

  • Routing in Stock Transfer Order

    Hi,
We are having SAP 4.7 & we have activated Transportation Routing process.
Routing is copied in Sales order & Delivery. But the same is not copied in the stock transfer Order. We are doing following steps.
We are using Stock Transfer order to transfer the material from One storage location to another storage location. Supplying Plant & Receiving Plant are same in Stock transfer Order. We are entering Receiving STorage location & Shipping point in the STO.
Is this b'coz of Supplying plant & receing plant are same in the STO ? Or i need to active something els for this.
    Kindly revert back.
    Thanks in advance.
    Samir Bhatt

    Hi,
this is one of the problems caused by an organisation structure that is not quite matching the "real world".
In SAP each Plant should have a unique address and the storage locations are thought of as areas within that address.
If you have two sites that have different addresses, they should <u>ideally</u> be separate plants. You can then use all of the available functionality within SAP that you would expect.
If you want to set up a route that goes from one address to another than this is possible, but in your case you are actually saying that you want a route for s delivery from and too the same address, not really a real world scenario.
So if you really want to do this then each site should be a plant. I expect that it is too late to change your design but it is important for others reading this to understand the problems that are caused when Storage locations are used instead of Plants for physically separate addresses.
Sorry if this is not much help to you but it should help you to understand why you are having a problem.

  • Stock Transfer Report after Invoice

    Hello Experts
Please spend one minute's time to read this. It may be long but its the exact scenario.
I have got a requirement to generate a Stock Transfer Report for the bills passed (invoice receipt) for a particular date range. Note that the delivery against the PO can be for partial quantities too.
I am using RBKP table to get all the invoice numbers falling in the certain date range selection. Against these Invoices I am retrieving the PO number and other report relevant data from the RSEG Table. And using the PO I need to get into the MSEG table to retrieve Mat Doc numbers so that I can drill into the excise tables to get Excise No.
    Now the problem is:
Suppose the PO <b>4900000337 </b>contains various items
item no  | material  | qty
    10       | mat1      | 1050
    20       | mat2      | 2670
    30       | mat3      | 450
Now one partial delivery is made as
item no  | material  | qty
    10       | mat1      | 100
    20       | mat2      | 250
    <i>mat doc 4900012713, mov type 641</i>
and the against this delivery an invoice receipt is created using MIRO, <b>5105600790</b>
another partial delivery is made as
item no  | material  | qty
    20       | mat1      | 350
    30       | mat2      | 50
    <i>mat doc 4900012714, mov type 641</i>
against this delivery an invoice receipt is created using MIRO, <b>5105600791</b>
How do I link the invoice no to the material documents to know the quantity of the particular item of the PO... as we see item no 20 is common in both the case.
    RSEG
Document Number Fiscal Year Item   Purchasing Doc. Item
    5105600790      2007        000007 4900000337      00020
    5105600791      2007        000007 4900000337      00020
    MSEG
Material Doc. Mat. Doc. Year Item Line ID Parent ID Movement Type Material     Quantity          Purchase Order Item
    4900012713    2007           0004 000005  000002    641           90050106            250.000  4900000337     00020

    Hi...
<i>1) MIRO is done against Purchase Order right??</i>
    > Yes, MIRO is done against PO. And, when I try to do it against Deliv. Doc. its not possible as its not displaying any items!
<i>2) In BSEG : you put the PO number 4900000343 then the below rows are visible right??</i>
    >Yes.
<i>3) Can you please paste the rows : BELNR, EBELN and VBELN only ??</i>
Here they are...(with some other fields which might be of importance)

  • Stock transfer Price calculation

    Dear expert,
I got following request from my client about calculating the Stock pricing for Excise calculation,
u201CWhenever stock transfer of any material happens from one excisable plant to another excisable plant we have to pass on the excise duty, irrespective of MRP of that material i.e. assessable value for Excise calculation will be same.
In order to find out accessable value we divide the material in four category i.e.
    a. Domestic Purchase
    b. Imported
    c. In-house production
    d. Interplant transfer
In the z transaction we put material code & plant as an input field.
System will first check that whether BOM of that material exist or not, if yes than take the MAP value of the same, add 10% on it give assessable value.
If BOM does not exist than search movement 105, if exist than check that whether its purchase order has INR currency, if yes than it is domestic purchase if not than it is Imported, in case of domestic purchase take its accessable value, in case of imported we have to add customer duty.
If 105 does not exist than check 101, check that this 101 is against production order or purchase order, if production order than take MAP + 10% if purchase than take its accessable value.
If 101 does not exist than check 310, 305 movement & take supply plant of the same & again check the all the above scenarios.u201D
Please advise which condition or Table can be used for finding out the requirement
    Regards,
    Pranav Dave

    Hi Astricks,
I'm not really sure, but please check the different settings.
For the store there should be a customer defined.
The DC should be in a different distribution chain than teh store to ensure possibility of different prices.
There must be a valid inforecord from the vendor and further please check the table KNVV if there is an entry between the customer of the STORE and the distribution chain of the DC.
Also check in the transaction WB02, if the delivery sites are maintained.
If this will not help, please open an customer message on IS-R-BD-RPC  (retail pricing) with example. Someone will take care about it.
    Regards

  • Stock Transfer to Depot

    Hello Gurus,
    I need your  help.
We are working on ECC 6.0
I want to stock transfer Finished goods to Manufacturing plant to Depot which is also excisable.
There will be RG 23D register in depots.
I am following process as under:
Stock transfer PO - SD Delivery- Goods Issue- SD Proforma invoice.- Excise invoice - Goods Receipt at depot
    I have created excise invoice
Now I want to do GR at depots and make entry in RG23D.
I have selected in Excise Tab - Create RG23D Entry or create RG23D entry for excisting excise invoice.
    I am geeting error as
Please check excise base for the item is zero !
All the duties are defaulted from excise invoice created at mfg plant.
    I have  questions:
    1. Which option should be selected in excise Tab
    2. Which base value is used ?(How to remove this error).
    Thanks in advance,
    Prasanna

    Hi All,
1.Check on the Depot Plant is fully Configured.
2.Check on you have maintained it in J1ID for the Material & Depot.
3.After STO Via SD - PO
      4.Purchase Orders Due for Delivery.
      5.Change Outbound Delivery.
      6.Create Billing Document.
      7.Outgoing Excise Invoice.
      8.Goods Reciept & Excise Capture.
After this excise capture in MIGO Stage you will have it in RG23D Register you can check it in T.Code:-J1idepotstock1.
Hope this will solve your problem,

  • Stock value for stock transfer from depot (RG23D) to manufacturing (RG23A)

    Dear all,
The forum posts that I found are all relating to the process of how to do stock transfer from depot plant to manufacturing plant.
The question I want to post is relating to the transferred stock value.
When stock first goes into depot plant (RG23D), the excise duties (CVD, Education Cess, Higher Education Cess, Secondary Education Cess) are all inventorized. However, in manufacturing plant (RG23A), they are CENVATABLE and not inventorized.
In the transfer of stock from depot to manufacturing, how can we split out the stock value from depot and take out the excise duties to CENVAT in manufacturing plant?
If using Stock Transfer process (move stock from depot to manufacturing),
    1. Create Stock Transfer Order in ME21N using UD order type
            no accounting
    2. Create DO in VL10B and goods issue
During goods issue, moving average of stock in depot plant, will increase stock with the same value in manufacturing plant and reduce the stock value in depot plant. How can we reduce the stock value transferred to manufacturing plant by the original excise duties amount, and pass this amount into J1IEX? Is it done in this step or later steps?
Dr Stock into manufacturing plant  [this value by right, should be reduced as it consists of original excise duties in RG23D?]
            Cr Stock from depot plant
    3. J1IJ- RG23D selection for excise invoice for delivery at depot
        no accounting
    4. VF01 for proforma invoice
       no accounting
    5. MIGO into manufacturing plant (capture excise invoice)- part 1 register. the excise duties can be manually keyed in based on the original RG23D entries when stock is first brought into originating depot plant
         no accounting
    6. Enter Incoming Excise Invoice by J1IEX
         Dr CENVAT Input AED
         Dr CENVAT Input BED
         Dr RG23A ECess
         Dr RG23A SHECess
               Cr CENVAT clearing
    7. Question: Where to Debit CENVAT clearing? In normal domestic purchase process of raw materials into manufacturing plant, Dr CENVAT clearing will be posted during MIRO time.
If this process is not the correct way to do, please advise the standard SAP recommended way to transfer from depot to manufacturing plant.
    Thank you in advance.

You have to add the Excise duty condition types as a Delivery cost Pricing condition types in STO Pricing procedure and have used them in STO. In Pricing procedure, there is no concept of Deductible and Non Deductible. So, what ever the Delivery cost condition you add in Pricing procedure, the amount gets loaded on to the Material cost..To avoid this, a negative condition type needs to be inserted in Pricing procedure with a different accrual key.
You have to add One Positive condition and One Negative Condition type for the same. Negative condition type is to reduce the condition value from the Material cost during GI.
Try this scenario in development server and revert back with your observations.

  • Stock Transfer from one location to another through outbound deliveries

    Dear GURUS n EXPERTS,
We have 5 warehouse and one manufacturing plant. Till this time we use two step Stock Transfer method to transferring stock from plant to ware houses.
Now, we want to use Shipping & Transportation System to to calculate transportation cost. But this system consider only outbound deliveries. So, our requirement is:
    1. Create the outbound deliveries, but no billing.
    2. Receive the material at warehouse against this outbound delivery but do not go for invoice booking.
How can we achieve it. Please guide us.
    Thanks,
    DSC

    Hello,
You may see the IMG path SPRO->Materials Management->purchasing->Purchase Order->Setup Stock Transport Order.  Here, the most important ones are Assign Delivery Type and Assign Purchasing Document Type. Availability check, Delivery tolerances etc. are optional. You need shipping point to be created using transaction OVLZ.
    Thanks,
    Venu

  • Cross Company Stock Transfer- Please check excise base for the item is zero

    Hi,
My scenario is Cross company Stock transfer (Two different Company Codes)
I have done following steps :
    1.Create Purchase Order
2.Create Outbound Delivery for Purchase Order
    3.Post Goods Issue for Delivery
    4.Creating Billing Document
    5.Creating Excise Invoice
    6.Printing of Excise Invoice
7.Post Goods Receipt for Stock Transport Order
Till MIGO there is no problem.
I am getting a errro while doing MIGO with reference to Outbound Delivery, when I enter Excise Invoice created in sending plant, I am getting error as
"Please check excise base for the item is zero" - Message no. 4F121
Excise Duty values are flowing as per the excise invoice but system make base value as 0 , I have maintained Assesable value in J1ID also. We are using TAXINN.
    Pl. help
    Thanks
    Vikas

    Hi
The best way to slolve this problem, Now is to maintain Assable value in Material Master For reciving Plant.
Hear you can maintain all the chapter id, register A or C, etc
    and then try doing GR,
The other way and the permanent solution is
    VPRS or equivalent
    Condition class B Prices
    Calculat.type C Quantity
    Condit.category  H
    Cond.control H Condition value fixed
    Condit.origin A Automatic pricing
In this Condition category is most important and by this only system copies the base amount for excise duty calculation in MIGO or J1IEX.
