Import Intrastat-Masterdata

Hello,
here my development-request:
Version: 2007 A
Description of requirements: Import of Intrastat-Data using DTW
Valid as of: now
Business needs:
We need to import Intrastat-Masterdata using DI.
Examples:
We upgraded our customer from 2004 A to 2007 A. We need to transfer the
Intrastat-MasterData from the UDF to the new UDO. The customer has about
15000 Items affected by this.
Current Workaround: manually
Proposed solution:
If you update an Database with an older Intrastat-Version, the
Intrastat-Masterdata is automaticly written to the UDO.
You are able to import this data using DTW.
Best regards,
Thomas Kneidl

Hallo zusammen,

  • Import Intrastat DTW

    Dear all,
    I try to import some data to the Table BNITMDV (correspoding ti the window Item Intrastat setting of the Intrastat Addon).
    The aim of the import is to create some records with the Item Code and the Commodity Code.
    Here is a sample of my DTW file:
    Code     Name     U_ITMCode                  U_CommCode
    Code     Name     U_ITMCode                  U_CommCode
    0          110000001                  39233010
    1          110000002                  39233010
    2          110000003                  39233010
    3          110000004                  39233010
    4          110000007                  39233010
    5          110000009                  39233010
    6          110000010                  39233010
    7          110000012                  39233010
    8          110000013                  39233010
    9          110000014                  39233010
    10          110000015                  39233010
    When trying to import, I get the following error message:
    No     Status                      Key                         Reason
    1     Created Failed        0000006            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
    2     Created Failed        0000007            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
    3     Created Failed        0000008            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
    4     Created Failed        0000009            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
    ...........The ist is too long
    However, I have noticied that It worked only with the first 6 records because the records already exist in SBO (I created them manually in SBO using the window Item Intrastat Setting by typing the item codes manually and clicking on create button).
    Does anyone know what's the problem with this import?
    Remark: I tried with filling the name field and without filling it ant the result is always the same.
    Thanks a lot for your help.
    Kind regards,
    Walid.

  • Import Intrastat-Daten - Artikel schlägt fehl

    Dear Superuser!
    "Cannot add rows to a MasterData type UserTable U_BNITMDV"
    Any ideas?

  • Importing Intrastat commodity code to BNITMDV

    Hello all,
    I am importing a set of commodity codes against Items in a 2007A SP01 PL7 database using the DTW2005.0.28
    The error I get is 'Unknown error - 1005!UDO_BNITMDV'
    The error occurs for update of manually entered intrastat details via DTW, and for imports for the Item code alone, or with the item code and commodity code.
    The commodity code being imported exists and the item code also exists.
    BNITMDV does not have a space in the name of the UDO and  this is the only cause of this error I have found in any postings.
    What else can cause this error?
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks
    Tristan

    Update
    There is a Mention of the error in Re: Importing UDO with DTW ... by
    Paul Feeney. This states that the error results from a UDO with a space character in the name.
    After a short webex it appear that this is not the name of the UDT but the name of the object in Tools > Customisation Tools > Objects Registration Wizard. In the case of BNITMDV the default name is 'Item Master Data Default Settings' this has to be changed to  'Item_Master_Data_Default_Settings'
    Thanks to Zoltan for pointing this out.

  • Intrastat DTW Template

    Hi All,
    Does anyone have DTW template for Items on Intrastat add-on. I am not able to create one from the DTW object exposed.
    Is there anyone who have successfully imported Intrataat for Item defaults.
    Thanks & Regards
    Shiva

    Hi Shiva,
    There are quite a few threads discussing this:
    Re: Importing Item Data (Commodity Codes) for Intrastat add-on 2007a PL35
    Import template for the intrastat in 2007a
    Import Intrastat-Masterdata

  • Update of Intrastat details against Item Master Data

    Hi I'm looking to import Intrastat details against item master data.  I understnad from the portal that this needs to be imported to UDO but need some guidance in terms of template set up.
    Grateful for any help
    Regards
    David

    Hi,
    If you have made already the transactions you cannot update the G/L method.
    Secondly if you have set G/L by Item level then you need to define the inventory accounts for all the items in your template then only you will be able to proceed further

  • Import Schema leads to XPath Problems

    Hallo,
    When using a bpel process where I have some schema definitions included, I'm not able to access the contents of variables with XPath.
    <schema attributeFormDefault="unqualified"
    elementFormDefault="qualified"
    targetNamespace="http://service.achrist.net/price/"
    xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:tns="http://service.achrist.net/price/"
    xmlns:md="http://service.achrist.net/masterdata/">
    <import schemaLocation="MasterData.xsd" namespace="http://service.achrist.net/masterdata/"/>
    <element name="PriceServiceProcessRequest">
    <complexType>
    <sequence>
    <element name="item" type="md:Item"/>
    <element name="supplier" type="md:Supplier"/>
    </sequence>
    </complexType>
    </element>
    </schema>
    The XPath expression in the BPEL process then crosses the two namespaces
    /client:PriceServiceProcessRequest/client:supplier/md:Name
    When using the expression inside an assign-activity, the bpel-engine claims
    "empty variable/expression result."
    A workaround for this is to copy paste the xsd types into the same namespace ... but rather ugly ...
    What is wrong with the imports ?

    Hello,
    I found one solution:
    Changing the way how elements are created to:
    <element name="PriceServiceProcessRequest">
              <complexType>
                   <sequence>
                        <element ref="md:ItemElement"/>
    <element ref="md:SupplierElement"/>
                   </sequence>
              </complexType>
         </element>
    ... now it works as expected...

  • Z_IMPORT_MASTER_DATA_LOAD fails after upgrade to BPC 7.5

    Hi,
    After an upgrade from BPC 7.0 (for NW) to BPC 7.5, the process chain Z_IMPORT_MASTER_DATA_LOAD fails. This is a standard process chain and we have used it to import Employee-masterdata from BW to BPC. This has been working perfectly fine for a long time, but after the upgrade it fails with the error message: u201CJob or process BPCMALDNW, waiting for event RSPROCESS D5PUFX4O5T78XRI7YVDC1LGBL is unknownu201D. Details of the error message are:
    Job or process BPCMALDNW, waiting for event RSPROCESS D5PUFX4O5T78XRI7YVDC1LGBL is unknown
    Message no. RSPC002
    Diagnosis
    Job BPCMALDNW has been started because of event RSPROCESS D5PUFX4O5T78XRI7YVDC1LGBL. This job is not, however, known in the active version of the process chain.
    System Response
    The job has been terminated.
    It is the variants u201CClear BPC tablesu201D and u201CConvertu201D that fail, but they do not give any error message that makes sense.
    Does anyone know what is causing this problem? Can the process chain not be used in BPC 7.0 and do we have to use the process chain /CPMB/IMPORT_MASTER instead?
    Thanks for your help.
    Best Regards,
    Linda Solberg

    Hi Rohit,
    Yes you will need to re-create your custom packages. Please see Note 1294591 - Support SQL 2008 (DM):
    [Addtional Info]
    If you need to upgrade SQL 2005 dtsx packages to SQL 2008, customized packages must be created in SQL 2008 BIDS(Business Intelligence Development Studio). The steps are the same with SQL 2005. To do this, you should copy BPC Task DLLs for SQL 2008 to Tasks folder under SQL 2008 BIDS installation folder
    If you use packages provided from ApShell, you can copy packages from ApShell instead created in SQL 2008 BIDS after upgrading to SQL 2008.
    *Note: you should modify package as your application structure such as dimension when you copy package from an application to others and, between the applications, the structure are different.
    Also, for information on migration steps to apply to support packages before SP01, see the Planning and Consolidation 7.5 M Upgrade Guide, available on SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/instguidesEPM-BPC > 7.5, version for the Microsoft platform.
    Thanks

    When I import the masterdata for Material i get an error message saying that the external format isn't correct.
    Can somebody help me out? <removed>

    Hallo,
    OK so you still have MATN1 in your Transfer rule routine correct?
    huh.. it looks to me that you have to leave the routine empty in your TRules since your IObj transfer routine will be executed anyway.
    then try adding the MATN1 at the end of your code:
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_MATN1_INPUT'
      EXPORTING
        input              = RESULT
    IMPORTING
      OUTPUT             =
    EXCEPTIONS
      LENGTH_ERROR       = 1
      OTHERS             = 2
    IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
            WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
    ENDIF.
    curious to see what's going on...
    Olivier.

  • Intrastat Exports/Imports

    Folks,
    As Intrastat declarations are done for EU countries wherein statistics of exports/imports are declared to local authorities.Currently I want to know if any one has implemented the SAP provided standard functionality in ECC5.0.to use standard reports for intrastat declarations.
    Additionally I have couple of questions relating to this:
    1-Is "Plants abroad customizing" a prerequisite for implementing SAP standard Intrastat reports.
    2-Is there any way to add our own customs fields as a parameter to run th SAP standard report.eg:company's own fiscal year.
    3-Incase of imports-How can we print few more fields in the output of the SAP standard report(eg.Invoice no(RE)), which does not print in SAP standard report nor has a option in layout settings.(This RE number would help the users for doing VAT reconciliation with Intrastat).
    4-Lastly,is there any SAP standard tool or report present in ECC5.0 which can perform VAT vs Intrastat reconciliation.
    Friends,not necessary that one needs to answer all questions, but any or all questions answered quickly and correctly shall be rewarded.
    Thanks

  • INTRASTAT import: which selection criteria are used by MEIS?

    All,
    I have a question to the SAP R3 Standard for INTRASTAT import reporting: selection of documents by transaction MEIS.
    I would be interested to know, how the MEIS transaction is selecting the documents for the report (selection log) given a
    -     Purchasing organization
    -     Company Code
    -     Reporting Month and Year
    -     Country of Declaration
    As to my knowledge, SAP R3 Standard is looking for all the purchase order items of a purchasing organization (including company code), where an invoice has been posted (posting date) for the specified reporting year and month.
    Which are the other criteria taken into consideration, e. g. tax codes or business transaction types (inclusion or exclusion)?
    Thank you very much for your support in advance!

  • Import template for the intrastat in 2007a

    Is there an import template for the intrastat in 2007 for items and B.Ps - have seen the intrastat wizard option - but is there not a DTW option?

    Dear Sam,
    From Intrastat version 2007A on, the BNITMDV and BNBPDV are no longer UDTs but UDOs (User defined objets).
    Offically, DTW does not support importing UDOs but supports UDTs.
    As far as workaround concerned, if the UDO performs the same as UDT, that means it have only a table and doesn't belong to any other object and doesn't have sub-objects ( sub-table ), DTW can imports it likes UDT.
    The reason is that DTW is based on DI API and it only supports the objects which DI API exposes and supports.
    Regarding BNBPDV, it is relevant to BusinessPartners object, at present, DTW can not support BNBPDV, so does BNITMDV.

  • Intrastat DTW Import von Statistischen Warennummern schlägt fehl

    Hallo miteinander,
Vielen Dank schon mal.
    Mit freundlichen Grüßen

    P.S. Ich verwende SBO 8.8 PL 11, API Version 8.80.229, DTW Version 88.0.11
    Edited by: Hilmar Bühler on Jun 1, 2010 4:32 PM

    4) Viel Erfolg!!
