Import Itens - DTW - Warehouse Remove

How can i remove a warehouse that dont belong an item on DTW import, using template <oItems>?Any idea or have i to do a manual remove ?
ps:I can't to use <Locked> field

Marcio,
I don't think thats possible through DTW.  You could delete a Warehouse by going to Item Master ...Inventory Tab, highlight the warehouse... row right mouse click and delete row (CTRL+K)
In Administration > System Initialization > General Settings if you have checked
<b>Auto Add All Warehouses to New Items</b> Each time you create a new item SAP will automatically add it to all warehouses or when you add a new warehouse SAP will add it to existing items.
If you Uncheck this, SAP does not add the Items to any warehouse and like wise when you add a warehouse.

  • DTW to Remove Items

    Hi,
Is there a way to use the DTW to remove items?
We have a whole lot of items that are the parent item in Sales BOM's, but we are unable to use Sales BOM's anymore because of errors that occur with our Radio Beacon integration.  Because the transactions are recorded against the components items, not the parents items, we are able to remove these, but we have quite a few and need a quicker way to do it.
We want to remove them so we can then create new items in their place which are stocked items, so our customers can continue ordering using the current item codes.
    Thanks.

    Michael,
DTW is a tool to import data into SAP Business One and it will not work for deleting data.
This question about deleting items was asked earlier by many members.  One such can be seen on this thread link  Remove Item Master Data
Please read about this tool from the link below and you may use it for your purpose.

  • Error when importing through DTW for JE

    Hi All,
When i try import Je through DTW it gives me the error as "You are not allowed to edit posting date".
I am trying to import around 1000 transactions of which it gives me this error for one transaction, when i remove the transaction and try to import, it imports the balance records.
Please help me out to resolve this issue.
    Regards
    Shanker

    Hi Gordon,
    Sorry for delay in replying.
This solution we had already found, the actual reason is when we are uploading 7000 transactions, it gives the around 2000 and once we resolve or remove that transaction again at 4300 give the error.
The reason is first SAP reads all the transactions which is takes around 15 Min(since we have 1 GB RAM on Server) and throws error if any, and by that time we resolve all the transactions, take lot of time in uploading the data.
Once again sorry for the delay in replying.

  • For the first time I hate Firefox! Important time-saving feature removed (4.0)

For the first time I hate Firefox (4.0).
They removed the feature for the user to jump back multiple pages at once. I use this MANY MANY times a day and now I have to go back one page at a time until I get back to where I want to go. IF I have to go back (say) 10 pages or so it takes forever and I have to wait for the page to show to see if that is the one I wanted or have to go back further. This is a HUGE waste of time.
IF Firefox does not restore this feature soon I will have no choice but to find another browser that has this feature. I cannot and will not waste my time with a browser that doesn't have this important feature.
Also, 4.0 is regularly crashing (much more than before).

It is still there. You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

  • Export and Import in Data warehouse

    Hi,
I have built a data warehouse project with few dimensions and a cube on a server machine, say server1. Now i have another server machine on which i want to develop this project for bulk production.
I want to import all the developments from server1 to new server machine, say server2, To save my time. I exported data from server1 using export functionality and imported the same file to server2 using import function. My questions is.......
Is it possible to use all the imported objects like cube, dimension, mappings, tables and sequences in the same way in server2 as i was using in server1. If yes then what are the necessary configurations, i have to made.???? because imported dimensions are not able to deploy in new server2 machine giving different errors especially invalid location and invalid table errors for mapping and dimensions.
    thanks in advance
    imran

you can sue the MDL file on your new server but you have to do the following:
    1. Register locations.
    2. Configure the mapping to use the new locations registered.
    4. Configure Control Center locations.
Register the location in Control center
    Deploy the mappings/Process flows
The Invalid location error is occuring becaue the location is not configured and registered in your connection explorer.

  • PrimaryKey 'OSRI_PRIMARY' problems importing oInventoryGenEntrey DTW

    Hi...
We have some problems importing two or more oInventoryGenEntrey 's with DTW. If we put in the files of the first transfer the product A and B each with two serial numbers this transfer finish successfully, but f we put in the files of the second transfer the product A and B each with two serial numbers and differents of the first transfer we get the next error:
[IGN1.WhsCode][Line: 2], "This entry exist in the following tables".
And because the error we made an investigation, and we fond that DTW try to insert on OSRI but the  PrimaryKey 'OSRI_PRIMARY' that it is conformed from ItemCode and SysSerials, in conclusion DTW don't check what is the last SysSerials number for each product and increase them.
Any one now if we are doing something wrong or this is a bug.
    Thanks

This seems to SAP B1 2005A version. Am I correct ?
I think you must contact SAP support for this or I remember there is similar message in this forum. try to search it.

  • Import Intrastat DTW

    Dear all,
I try to import some data to the Table BNITMDV (correspoding ti the window Item Intrastat setting of the Intrastat Addon).
The aim of the import is to create some records with the Item Code and the Commodity Code.
Here is a sample of my DTW file:
    Code     Name     U_ITMCode                  U_CommCode
    Code     Name     U_ITMCode                  U_CommCode
    0          110000001                  39233010
    1          110000002                  39233010
    2          110000003                  39233010
    3          110000004                  39233010
    4          110000007                  39233010
    5          110000009                  39233010
    6          110000010                  39233010
    7          110000012                  39233010
    8          110000013                  39233010
    9          110000014                  39233010
    10          110000015                  39233010
When trying to import, I get the following error message:
    No     Status                      Key                         Reason
1     Created Failed        0000006            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
2     Created Failed        0000007            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
3     Created Failed        0000008            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
4     Created Failed        0000009            Master Data Type User Table cannot add row U_BNITMDV
    ...........The ist is too long
However, I have noticied that It worked only with the first 6 records because the records already exist in SBO (I created them manually in SBO using the window Item Intrastat Setting by typing the item codes manually and clicking on create button).
Does anyone know what's the problem with this import?
Remark: I tried with filling the name field and without filling it ant the result is always the same.
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Kind regards,
    Walid.

  • How to set default bill to/ship to flag for addresses imported via DTW?

    Hi experts,
I'm currently preparing the initial import of Business Partner Master Data but I'm struggeling a bit with the logic behind the dtw templates.
From my perspective the best way should be to import first the Business Partners general information and then import all addresses with the seperate address template. But how is it possible to define the default bill to and ship to addresses in this template!?
As alternative way I thought about importing the default ship to and bill to addresses with the general master data and import all additional addresses with the address template. But the geneal BP template seems lacking some fields like street no for example!? What means these addresses will miss this information.
What is your recommened way in this case?
Thanks in advance for any hints!

    Hi,
    Check SAP notes:

  • Needing AdjTrans field in OJDT to get ticked when doing a JE import via DTW

    Hi
I am importing Journal Entries and am needing to have the Field AdjTrans = Adj Trans (Period 13) ticked, when going through the DIAPI Reference help this field is not listed as well as not being listed in the DTW Template, I have added this to the DTW Template gone to my mapping under "Map Rule" tab, the Source Fields have my AdjTrans because of the DTW Template but can't map it on Target Fields(B1).
This field exists when looking in MSSQL (OJDT,AdjTrans)
Is it possible for me to do an import to tick this field or is it going to have to be done manually?
    Regards
    Kurt Walters
Edited by: Kurt Walters on Feb 4, 2010 12:21 PM

    Hi Kurt Walters,
DTW is based on DI.  Only the fields exposed to DI will be available.  If you could not find the field, you will have no option to DTW it.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Import Automatic Red Eye removal

I just installed PSE6 and when I started importing pictures I saw that the option "remove red eye automatically" was checked.
Is this feature non-destructive like in Lightroom or will it alter the actual image?
I can't find any info on this and I don't want to ruin the original if the automatic red eye is unsuccessful or not to my satisfaction.

Right... Also its time consuing it will check all the images you import...
Sometimes try to fix red areas even those are not eyes.
But its useful when you have clicked lot of people photographs in night where probablity of Red-Eye is very high...

  • Import through DTW not updating log

    Forum,
I am trying to setup a .BAT file which reads as follows:
PATH C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench
    DTW.exe -s D:\Insphire\Accounts\Test\SalesCreditsDTWLIVE.xml
    c:\windows\system32\PING 1.1.1.1 -n 1 -w 20000 >NUL
    for /f "tokens=1,2" %%u in ('date /t') do set d=%%v
    for /f "tokens=1" %%u in ('time /t') do set t=%%u
    if "%t:~1,1%"==":" set t=0%t%
    set timestr=%d:6,4%%d:0,2%%d:3,2%_%t:0,2%%t:~3,2%
    Set FileDate=%date:/=%_%t:0,2%%t:3,2%
    ren D:\Insphire\Accounts\Test\CreditNoteHeader.txt CreditNoteHeader_%timestr%.txt
    ren D:\Insphire\Accounts\Test\CreditNoteLines.txt CreditNoteLines_%timestr%.txt
    move D:\Insphire\Accounts\Test\CreditNote*.txt D:\Insphire\Accounts\imported\
    @echo Saving %copyname%
    pause
Whilst this appears to launch, it isn't updating the DTW log. I have a similar one for Invoice which does work and writes an entry in the log file.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Juan,
Did you tried to export the files manually via DTW and see what's happening?

  • Footage imported 720PN, Didn't remove pulldown, Fix in Compressor?

Hi, if you know this, you are truly an FCP ninja.
Was unfamiliar with the 720p workflow and simply used Import -P2 footage off of the card. Didn't use Remove Pulldown Box. Seemed simple enough, but now the footage is a mess. It's choppy and sped up. Don't have original files.
I understand that compressor (FCP 6.0.6) has a way to fix this? Is that true? Re-shooting is not an option and days are already gone. Any true Compressor ninjas out there? Please?
    Thank you so much!

Thanks for replying.  I was beginning to think my post would be buried and never seen again.
I am aware of the need in CS4 to do the manual "Interpret Footage" step, which was not required in CS3 when needing to remove 3:2 pulldown.
But unless the 3:2 pulldown cadence information is recorded as part of taking the progressive footage and putting it into a 60i wrapper (i.e. your progressive footage is actually recorded on tape as a 60i signal, but where the frames follow a 3:2 pulldown system), then Premiere would be left to guess at the pulldown timing.
So far from my research, it would appear that a number of first-level prosumer cameras that do the 60i-wrapper method of recording progressive frames onto tape do not record the pulldown phasing information.  That would prevent Premier Pro CS3 and CS4 from successfully restoring the footage to 24p after interpreting the footage.
People say that Sony and Canon are particularly bad about this. Panasonic cameras have not had reports of problems for SD progressive as well as HD progressive pulldown removal - that I know of at least -- so they appear to be consistent among their models for recording 3:2 cadence phasing information.
You mentioned that you are now having problems with your footage.  A couple of questions for you.  What model camera do you use?  And are you using DV or HDV, or something else for your progressive footage?
For example, if you use a Canon XH-A1, do you shoot HDV 24pa mode?  Thoses pieces of information will make the situation more clear.

  • Import through DTW

    Hi All..
How to Import Usertables and UDO's through DTW...
    Thanks..

    Hi Pari,
You can't use the DTW to do this. If you need to create a new table or UDO you will need to create it by hand. Then you can use the import option of SQL server to fill a table (creating the table cannot be done). In case of UDO, I am not sure if that works with SQL server import option.
If you need to create and fill at the same time you can alseo try to code it with the SDK.

  • DTW Warehouse load

In 2007A USA localization, we are trying to load warehouses using the oWarehouse object and get the message "One of the inventory accounts is missing 'Allocation Account'".  However neither the template nor the Maintain Interface contains a column for 'Allocation Account'.  We have tried "PurchaseAccount", "PurchaseOffsetAccount" and "PurchaseVarianceAccount" with no luck.
Does anybody have a template that works, or can you provide a mapping between the Warehouse Accounting tab and the oWarehouse columns?
    Thanks, Jeff

It can be a little maddening. The nomenclature for error messages in DTW is inconsistent. One thing that helps is to cross-ref the field name in the error message with the description column for the table in the SDK.
In SDK, lookup warehouse table. It is OWHS. Look in description column for 'Allocation Account'. It is description for field 'TransferAc'. Closest match in template is 'TransfersAcc'.
    Fun, huh?
