Import of Multilingual hiarchy

Hello,
I am facing the problem to import a two language hierarchy into a MDM hierarchy table. I used the Import Manager and a flat excel file with two columns. One for english one for german.  Each field holds three values seperated by semicolons. So I want to have a hierarchy with three levels.
Splitdelimiter in my Import map is ";" and I split each column into a hierarchy and map it to my destination hierarchy table. Here are two fields to map to Name[eng] and Name[ger].
After performing the import the hierarchy looks exactly as wanted in english, but there are no german values. These values didn't make it so only the green english values are displayed.
What is the correct was to import this simple demand?

Hello,
I have the same problem. I'm working with MDM Version 5.5 SP5 ( 5.5.42.90)
I need to import a second language into the Hierarchy
-> I’m following the description (below) of the SAP Library
-> the Import Manager shows on the import status tab that it wants to do the import of the second language
-> no error appears for the import, everything seams normal, second language values are automatically value mapped
=> but it just doesn’t import the second language.
In Import Manager the following configuration is done:
Set the property for "Expand Multilingual Text Field" to As Multiple Fields
In despair I tried different things :
Import of both languages together , separated ;
Matched over Hierarchy name alone, remote alone, the two together, also with the two languages.
I even tried the import with changed hierarchy display field to “Hierarchy code” and not “Hierarchy name”.
I did the import with system language and login language in the second language.
No way to get the second language into the table, just manually in Data Manager.
Has anyone experience with multilingual import into the Hierarchy?
Thank you very much for helping me.
Best regards

SAPLibrary: Import Multilingual Data Into Lookup Tables
If necessary, CREATE the hierarchy from the current language layer Name field that contains the hierarchy information (for example, using the Split Hierarchy command).
Note: Hierarchy: Only one language layer Name field contains the hierarchy information.
Map the current language layer Name field
Map/Add the entire set of hierarchy values
Note : Hierarchy: Now supports mapping of internal nodes
Map the other language layer Name field(s)
No value mapping necessary
Note: Hierarchy: Map Value button previously could not be unchecked for hierarchy field and so Name field had to be value mapped.
Map the [Remote Key] field
Record match using:
1)  The Name field
2)  The [Remote Key] field (if the Name field was not value mapped)
3)  The combination of both
Note: [Remote Key] previously not available as a record matching field, and so Name field had to be used for record matching.
To UPDATE one or more language layers of existing records
Map the other language layer Name field(s).
No value mapping necessary
Note: Hierarchy: Map Value button previously could not be unchecked for hierarchy field and so Name field had to be value mapped
Map the [Remote Key] field.
Note: [Remote Key] previously did not exist, and so current language layer Name field had to be mapped.
Record match using the [Remote Key] field and set the import action to Update (All Mapped Fields)
Note: [Remote Key] previously not available as a record matching field, and so Name field had to be used for record matching. Hierarchy: Can use [Remote Key] field for record matching because Map Value button can now be unchecked for hierarchy field and so Name field no longer needs to be value mapped.

  • MULTILINGUAL OPERATION

    DEAR EXPERTS,
    I have some confussion regarding  Multilangual-support in MDM.
    SUPPOSE IN MY REPOSITORY ALL THE DATA ENTERED IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE NOW WE CHANGE PRIMARY LANGUAGE
    TO GERMAN. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN WE LOGIN DATA MANGER,IMPORT MANAGER WITH GERMAN LANGUAGE?
    HOW CAN WE MAINTAIN DATA IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGE DIRECTLY IN DATA MANAGER.
    THERE ARE TWO INHERITENCE. WHEN THIS INHERITANCE TAKE PLACE?
    WHICH TABLE AND FIELDS ARE ALWAYS MULTILINGUAL AND WHICH ARE NEVER and WHICH ARE OPTIONAL?
    THANKS IN ADVANCE.

    Hi ,
    When we say that MDM repository is multilingual it means it has provision to store and maintain data within MDm rep in different languages.
    For this you will have to define your repoistory and repository fields as Multilingual for the ones which will be holding multilingual data.
    In the import manger you can import mulitilingual source file data into multilingual fields by mapping one to one for each specific field in each specfic language.For eg you have a field dsecription as multilingual in two langauges say English and French then you will have two destination MDm fields in MDM import manger Desciption<Eng> and Description<French> in this way you can map each language field data acc.
    The Primary language displays the Data in that fields based on the Primary language in which you want to view that particular field data the Secondary language will be the dispaly language for teh Field data if in case no value exist for that field in the primary language.
    Now consider a multilingual field that is missing data in the current language. In a single-language repository, the value is shown as empty or NULL. However, MDM uses an innovative inheritance scheme to display u2013 and color-code u2013 data from other language layers for data values that are missing in the current language.Language inheritance is a type of layer transparency that allows individual data values to u201Cshow throughu201D from other language layers when the current layer is missing data
    Within the multi-layered data model, not only the data but also all of the MDM repository metadata can be stored in multiple languages, for a consistent user experience in each language.
    Language-specific metadata includes:
    u2022 Table names
    u2022 Field names
    u2022 Category names
    u2022 Attribute names
    u2022 Attribute text values
    Each user of the MDM system sees a u201Clanguage-centricu201D view of the repository data and metadata For example, one user can be entering and editing data in French while a second user is searching and browsing the repository in Japanese.

  • MDM Syndication - Is it possible to split a text field?

    I am trying to find a way to manage multilingual R/3 Purchase Order Text in MDM. The problem I am having is that we want to maintain this as one field in MDM, which the only feasible option appears to be a Text Large field. Text fields are too short now that they are only 333 characters, Lookups are not involved so this cannot be a multivalued Text field, Text Blocks don't seem to work for this, and Qualified Lookups don't appear to handle the multi-lingual aspect.
    The problem is, somehow this one large text field needs to be broken down when sent back to R/3, as R/3 can only handle 133 characters per line. As far as I can tell, there is no way to do this.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks!

    If I have understood your probelm correctly, then I think you want to import the Multilingual data in MDM. You can easily do that by Pivoting the source and then Importing the MUltilingual data into MDM.
    Then in the Syndicator, you can split the Multilingual Fields BY Language BY Value, (which is a feature present in the Syndicator)into Various fields, which you can indivually map it to the different destination fields. For this, you must have multiple fields in your Destination side so that you can map them individually with the Splitted fields.
    Please refer below to get info on the above mentioned feature:

    I think this what is what your requirement is. For refrence , kindly go through the link below, which will guide you to import the Multilingual Data and then Syndicate the file in .CSV format.

  • Custom column in a list view web part for a multilingual site does not take on custom language labels. Stays in default language.

    Hello all,
    I have what so far appears to be a fairly unique problem.  We are running a multilingual SharePoint 2010 environment with English as the default language and French as the secondary.  We have setup the sites in a variance relationship, but the
    issue I am discussing happens outside of a variant as well.
    We have created a library outside the variant (but within the collection) that the two sites must share.  A list view web part was created via Designer to add to each site to provide a quick view into the list.  If we are in the libary and switch
    to French, then update the column label it will remember the setting (because of the resource file) and maintain it as the language is flipped back and forth.  Where it doesn't work is as a web part in a variant or where the language is different.
    If the language is different, the out of the box columns work find, but the custom columns (all site columns not library\list columns) remain as the english label.  It doesn't matter if within a variant or outside with the browser language changed.
    It always reverts back to English.  It's like it isn't using the same resource file that was used in the list itself.
    I created a custom view and modified it with xslt as per
    http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/50004/how-to-change-column-title-for-a-view-but-not-modify-the-list but this only worked within the list and did not occur in the list view either.
    I can't be the first that has come across it, either I am not performing my searches properly, no one has ever documented a fix for this or this is something we just can't fix with OOTB tools.  That's the other thing, the solution has to be accomplised
    OOTB or with minor client side changes.  I can't fire up Visual Studio because they are piloting Office 365 and have put a "No custom code" mandate on for migration.
    Thank you all in advance.

    Ok, I have come up with a solution.  I edited the XSLT for the web part on the page.  I did the following:
    1.    Create the variants in the Site Ccollection
    2.    Create the library outside of the variants.
    3.    Add all the columns you require for the library.  It is very important all the columns are there before you move on.
    4.    Create a French and English view.
    5.    Create the list view web part via designer.
    6.    Add the list view web part to each site selecting the appropriate view to use.
    7.      Edit the page in SharePoint Designer 2010.
    8.      Place cursor in the column you wish to modify.
    9.      Click Design in the List View Tools on the ribbon.
    10.     Then click Customize XSLT and select Customize Item.  Select this option otherwise you will generate a **LOT** of unnecessary XSL code.
    11.     You are looking for a piece that resembles the following:
            <xsl:with-param name="fieldtitle">
              <xsl:value-of select="@DisplayName"/>
            </xsl:with-param>
    12.      Modify it by typing in the actual column name you want.  You should end up with something like this:
            <xsl:with-param name="fieldtitle">
              New Column Name.
            </xsl:with-param>
    13.      Now, for this page only, the column will be renamed.
    There are some caveats:
    1.    Doesn’t appear to work in a publishing portal.  I think this has to do with how SP stores the pages in this case.  In a publishing portal you can only modify the page layout which won’t work as we need to modify the content.
    2.    If you add another column, you will need to repeat the XSLT modification
    Anyways, I hope this helps out any others with the same issue or need as I had.

  • Chinese & English Text imported from Word

    Hi,
    I have been having many issues of late importing Chinese/Korean/Japanese/Arabic text in to InDesign.
    I have created Paragraph Styles, and they match the Word Document, but when I import the word document it ignores the font/style and directly imports the chinese font used within Word.
    I had a feeling that InDesign was not recognising the font used within Word, hence it was unable to change it.
    If this is the case, what is a font I can use within Mac Word, that will be recognised by InDesign and then apply my styling when importing.
    Any advice on this issue would be great,
    Thanks
    Steve

    I have created Paragraph Styles, and they match the Word Document, but when I import the word document it ignores the font/style and directly imports the chinese font used within Word.
    Our entire workflow is built around placing translator's Word docs into InDesign. In my experience, you can either struggle with this at length and maybe never succeed, or you can simply get used to clearing overrides after placing styled Word text.
    If you for some reason can't just place, select all, and clear overrides, then there are many possible issues you can chase after:
    Style naming - do any of your styles in ID have the same names as built-in styles in Word?
    Style inheritance - are any of your styles in either app based on other styles? This can cause overrides quite easily
    Character styles - are there any applied?
    Font naming conventions:
    I had a feeling that InDesign was not recognising the font used within Word, hence it was unable to change it.
    This happens to me all the time when using fonts with localized font names. Also when paragraph styles in Word have bold or italics applied to fonts that have no bold or italic faces (i.e. Chinese fonts in Word will often get fake bolds or italics applied).
    That is just a brief sampling of the difficulties inherent in placing multilingual text in Word/RTF into InDesign. Word import is simply troublesome in ID - my solution is simply to map a keyboard shortcut to Clear Overrides, and to use some scripting to clean up imported Word files.

  • Issue with XML nodes while Import

    Hi I am trying to import R3 data to MDM via XI. In my XML that generated from XI, has a separate nodes for main table and Qualifier Lookup tables. What happens is, in Import Manager, when a Qualifier Lookup table has only one record for a main table record, then those qualifier lookup table fields are displayed as main table elements. In that case my import MAP won't work for that Qualifier table. Any thoughts/advices?.
    Thanks
    Job.

    Hi Amol,
      Thanks for your reply. My import map was created based on xml from XI( may be I should have used xsd?). I am using Products (partly customized from standard) repository. I have couple of issues.
    1. In the import manager when I opened the xml from XI, in source hiarchy tree table I see main table node and other QL(Qualifier Lookup) nodes for example Location Data and Sales Data. XI generates one XML for a record. Sometimes Sales Data QL node disappears (in import manager) because it has only one sales data record for that main table record and sales fields are populated as elements of main table node. This inconsistency is going to have problem on my Sales Data QL Map.
    2. Likewise, I do not see Material Number (Main table "Key") in Sales Data or Location Data (QL) nodes in IM. But I need that in order to load qualifier fields.
    Your help on this is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Job.

  • Multilingual Issue/Confusion for PT849/FSCM90 ML install

    Hello,
    Recently I've installed a PT8.49, FSCM 9.0 with FSCM 9.0 ML. But there're several steps fails or I was confused at.
    Here's the main procedure of the installation I went throu.
    1. Install WebLogic/Tuxedo
    2. Instal PT8.49/FSCM 9.0/FSCM 9.0ML
    3. Manually create Oracle DB (follow the Manually DB setup on Unix section of Official installation guide.)
    4. Setup App Server
    5. PIA setup/Batch server setup
    Here's the issue i met with:
    During the step 3, manually create Oracle DB, after applying some dms/sql scripts & copying several projects, I went into the point that need to update the PT system msg for multilingual to run the pt849tlsXXX.dms for each LANGUAGE_CD(after applying pt849tls.dms). As it's supposed to apply all the multilingual, I ran the scripts from pt849tlsara to pt849tlszht one by one for each language, but some of the pt849tlsXXX encountered with the same error while applying the data mover scripts:
    Importing PSFILEDEFN
    File: Data MoverSQL error. Stmt #: 0 Error Position: 0 Return: 805 - ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM.PS_PSFILEDEFN) violated
    Failed SQL stmt:INSERT INTO PSFILEDEFN (FILEID, USERFILENAME, OBJECTOWNERID, VERSION, LASTUPDDTTM, LASTUPDOPRID) VALUES (:1, :2, :3, :4, TO_TIMESTAMP(:5,'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24.MI.SS.FF'), :6)
    Error: SQL unable to commit transaction for PSFILEDEFN
    The Import PSFILEDEFN is at the bottom of the scripts and all other importing before PSFILEDEFN was successful. Here's the Language which encountered with this issue: CFR, DUT, ESP, FRA, GER, JPN, POR, ZHS; ALL other language ran successfully without error msg.
    For installation, I skipped this and continued. BUT i have no idea why it failed, is that a bug or some steps stuck, anyone can help?
    Here's the confusion about multilingual:
    In the installation official guide, it wrote that PPLTLSML is only for french, and Non-french multilingual is using the project PPLTLS84CURML.
    During the Step 3, after copying the project PPLTLS84CUR, I copy the PPLTLSML first with only French language selected, then when doing the copying PPLTLS84CURML project, I was confused whether to include french or not. Actually I selected all languages besides ENG, Common & French for the copying.
    I'm confused if CFR should be included in PPLTLSML or PPLTLS84CURML?
    And French should be selected or not during copying the PPLTLS84CURML?
    However, there're 2 tasks: Running Additional Data Mover Scripts & Installing a Multilingual PT System Database before running VERSION AE, are these 2 tasks the same one with the previous tasks done (epXXXa.dms generated in the initial data mover DB setup scripts, and copy mulitilingual projects steps before copy the PPLTLS84DEL)? Why these 2 taks are put in this part of the doc? As I did the installation according to the doc chapter order, thus makes me confused alot about these 2 tasks.
    Any explanation would be appreciate.
    Thanks

    Thanks, and for those scripts I've run, think the following scripts should be added at the beginning of the scripts a little diff than the one in solution.
    SET LOG PT849TLS<LANG>.LOG;
    SET INPUT PT849TLS<LANG>.DAT;
    DELETE FROM PSFILEDEFN WHERE FILEID IN (SELECT XLIFF_FILEID FROM PSXPTMPLTRINFO WHERE TMPLLANGCD = '<LANG>');
    DELETE FROM PSFILEDATA WHERE FILEID IN (SELECT XLIFF_FILEID FROM PSXPTMPLTRINFO WHERE TMPLLANGCD = '<LANG>');
    SET START PSFILEDEFN;
    IMPORT *;
    Another error, maybe it corrupts by the tasks behind this, since it relates to the LNG record, ignore it.
    FYI:
    SET START PSXPTMPLTRINFO;
    DELETE FROM PSFILEDEFN WHERE FILEID IN (SELECT XLIFF_FILEID FROM PSXPTMPLTRINFO WHERE TMPLLANGCD = '<LNG>');
    DELETE FROM PSFILEDATA WHERE FILEID IN (SELECT XLIFF_FILEID FROM PSXPTMPLTRINFO WHERE TMPLLANGCD = '<LNG>');
    DELETE FROM PSXPTMPLTRINFO WHERE TMPLLANGCD = '<LNG>';
    But an error on PSXPRPTDEFNLNG.
    Records remaining: 1
    Importing PSXPRPTDEFNLNG
    File: Data MoverSQL error. Stmt #: 0 Error Position: 0 Return: 805 - ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM.PS_PSXPRPTDEFNLNG) violated

  • Can we import multiple language descriptions in Hierarchy tables of MDM

    Hello Experts,
    I am using MDM 7.1 SPS4 and working on the Vendor Repository standard content.
    My source file of Regions table contains data in multiple languages for each region record. All the required destination language fields have been mapped properly in the standard map. Import action is set to 'Create' for new records and 'Update Mapped only fileds' for existing records. Matching criteria has Name<English> filed defined in it.
    However, after importing these hierarchy records, in data manager only the Name description of English is populated while all other language descriptions for the same record is shown in Red (i.e not populated with the expected data).
    Is this a limitation of MDM itself or am I missing some setting?
    Thanks in advance,
    Elizabeth.

    Hi Elizabeth,
    steps for importing  into hierarchy tables
    To add new multilingual records:
    1 If necessary, create the hierarchy from the current language layer Name field that contains the hierarchy information (e.g. using the Split Hierarchy command).
    2Map the current language layer Name field and then Map/Add the entire set of hierarchy values.
    3 Map the other language layer Name field(s). No value mapping is necessary.
    4 Map the [Remote Key] field.
    5 Record match using: (a) the Name field; (b) the [Remote Key] field (if the Name field was not value mapped); or (c) the combination of both.
    To update the language layer of existing records:
    Map the other language layer Name field(s). No value mapping is necessary.
    Map the [Remote Key] field.
    Record match using the [Remote Key] field and set the import action to Update (All Mapped Fields).
    Just try and if you need any other info then please get back to me.
    Thanks,
    Sudhanshu

  • Does JMF Support multilingual absolute paths for video playback?

    Hi everyone,
    I hope I can find some answer here.
    Does JMF supports multilingual paths for videos? E.g. I have a video located by the following URL:
    G:\video\Stürmische\video.mp4
    When I try to open this video by JMF, I get the following Exception: Problem playing video+
    javax.media.NoPlayerException: Cannot find a Player for :file:/G:/video/Stürmische/video.mp4_
    When I use the same video.mp4 file with path containing only simple latin letters, it's played normally.
    Is there any problem with JMF regarding to multilingual paths?
    Many thanks,
    Armine

    I assume that it's a JMF cons. and IMHO, multilingual support for video paths/names should be added in it.Several things...
    1) JMF is designed to play both local files and RTP/RTSP file sources. As such, it uses URLs as resource locators. It makes perfect sense to make that design decision.
    2) URL encoding only allows alphanumeric characters and a handful of special characters. Considering the internet was invented by the United States army and our keyboards don't have those symbols, it makes perfect sense to make that design decision.
    3) Most importantly, JMF hasn't been updated since 2002 and development has been completely discontinued... so "multilingual support" won't ever be added to it.
    And it isn't multilingual support you're asking for, it's support for non-ASCII characters.
    It is my understanding that you can take a path like:
    G:\video\Stürmische\video.mp4
    Run it through some encoding procedure, and come out with a usable URL like:
    G:%5Cvideo%5CSt%FCrmische%5Cvideo.mp4
    Which I got by using the encoder on the following website:
    http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/html/topics/urlencoding.htm
    Coincidentally, had you done the research that I suggested you do, you might have learned that Java already has something built in to handle encoding non-compliant URLs for you.
    http://download.oracle.com/javase/1.5.0/docs/api/java/net/URLEncoder.html
    So, I'd expect you could use the URLEncoder class to implement suggestion #3 from my previous post.

  • Enhancement Request for APEX 3 - Import / export translation

    Hi,
    Would it be possible to add this functionality in the next release ?
    If we import an application that has a translation in the database (seed) into another APP_ID , we loose the translation.
    So for a 100+ pages application, it is really a pain to have to re-translate everything again. (since we cannot use the same xliff file).
    It would be nice to import the content of the translation from one application ID into another one or to export the translation with the application export.
    Thanks
    Francis.

    We blogged on this problem on the following link http://iadvise.blogspot.com/2006/12/apex-deploy-your-multilingual.html
    We are now working on an Apex application that will help in step 3 of the translation process. It is possible to upload an xliff-file, to make a translation for every source element and to create the xliff file again with the translations. The idea is also to make a kind of dictionary so it will be possible to automate a part of the translation process for words that are repeatedly used. Keep an eye on our blog where we will explain some more on this application.
    Btw, which tool do you use to make the translations ?

  • InDesign to Excel - Export & Import Utility

    Hello,
    My wife is a freelance designer  & im a software developer. We worked together on one of her freelance assignments which involved transcreation of indesign document in variuous languages.
    I wrote software which would export all the text content from indesign idml file to excel sheet. Any one can edit these excel sheets & software will be able to merge it back and create new idml file from it. Basically its easier to export and import text back in to idml files.
    Heres use case : Take idml file , export all text content to excel sheet with just click of a button and send it to translators/proofreaders/editors. When they are done with it - simply merge it back in to original idml file within seconds (without graphic designer spending time on copy-n-pasting in to indesign file)
    I think this can reduce indesign text copy-n-paste job time by 90%
    I would like to know is there any market for such utility & would it make any sense to develop it any furthur.
    Thanks.

    I don't mean to discourage you, but there is actually already a large and robust market for such tools. See SDL Trados, Kilgray memoQ, et cetera. I think that Rorohiko's StoryTweaker is the closest match to what you've done. I know few translators who prefer working in Excel over other applications - in fact I have a folder full of VBAs to move multilingual content out of Excel into Word and back, simply because the text-editing tools in Excel are pretty abysmally bad, at least from the perspectives of the translators I have asked about the matter.
    Besides, if you wanted to work in a tabular format, you'd already be using an app like Trados or SDLX or something like that.
    (without graphic designer spending time on copy-n-pasting in to indesign file)
    Actually, over the last fifteen years I've spent as a DTP wonk in the translation industry, I've found that graphic designers are pretty universally bad at this task. Each language has its own typographical conventions, and the graphic designers that recognize this fact are unfortunately quite rare. Furthermore, you only have to do one control-c alt-tab control-v job before you realize that there must be a better way to do it.
    Sorry to rain on your parade, but you're kind of reinventing the wheel here. That being said, the firms that have a lock on the Compuer-Aided Translation tools (CATs) or Translation Environment Tools (TEnTs) tend to have fairly high prices, even on their introductory toolsets. There may be some slack points in that market that I don't see. I'd suggest asking someplace else, like ProZ or Translator's Cafe, or places where InDesign expertise is less common.

    Hello, for a multilingual catalog project I would have to know how and with what tool I can place text from Excel or a database in text frames / tables. Bernd

    Data merge is really useful in many circumstances, but my first question would be about the size of the project. A really large catalog might be better handled by processing an IDML in some kind of translation memory tool.
    If all of your multilingual content is already in Excel, then it's probably best handled with a Data Merge. Note that you can't save Unicode CSV out of Excel for the merge, so for many languages you'll need to save "Unicode Text" out of Excel and tweak your import settings when you select a Data Source for encoding (Unicode) and delimiter (tab instead of comma).

  • Multilingual JSP page

    I am trying to build a multilingual web page using ResourceBundle class.
    What I want is to have the table title to be multilingual. I have defined
    two properties files "title_en_US.properties" and "title_zh_CN.properties".
    I have earlier used the native2ascii tool to convert the chinese characters
    to string as shown below for the chinese properties file
    name=\u00e5\u00b8\ufffd\u00e5\ufffd\u00b7
    In my "Load.jsp", I notice that in IE 5.5 it will display
    the chinese title as garbage character as the page content type
    is defaulted to Western ISO language encoding.
    If I manually change encoding to Unicode using via the IE menu with
    steps "View/Encoding/Unicode", the garbage characters becomes Chinese.
    I tried to have another JSP "LoadUTF8.jsp" which specifies the page encoding
    as UTF-8. The IE browser shows the page encoding defaults to Unicode but
    the chinese title is still displayed as garbage characters.
    Where did I go wrong? Any help on this is much appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Chee Keong

  • Multilingual in UCM

    Can anyone share the information about multilingual feature in UCM? One of my client is looking for the content management in 24 different languages ?
    Please give me your valuable inputs?

    One of the main features is the internationalization of the UCM interface i.e. translations for all the text and captions that appear. This is provided via the usual mechanism of substituting placeholders with language spoecific text from resource files depoending on the user locale. In UCM interface this is done using the lc() function.
    As of 11g I believe UCM is internationalized in all the standard Oracle 27 languages prior to this it inherited 7 languages from Stellent
    Additionally you need to consider support for multibyte character sets, right to left texts and how these will affect search indexing etc, conversion etc.
    SO list of the required languages is important
    Also you need to have detail on exactly what needs to be internationalized???
